BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND Start the Diet Now Advertisement

Adipex Phentermine (Adipex P) diet pill is a prescription diet pill that is used to help people lose weight who are obese (have a Body Mass Index of 30 or higher) or have serious health risks due to their size. It is more commonly known by the brand name Phentermine. It works as an appetite suppressant. It is taken in conjunction with certain food requirements and an exercise program. Adipex P is only used for a few weeks (less than 12 weeks) since its effectiveness decreases with prolonged use.

The drug is taken one time each day either in the morning or 10 hours before bedtime, because of its known effects of interrupting sleep.

You should take Adipex P only and exactly how it was directed to you by your physician.

While taking Adipex P, you are to follow a sound diet of balanced meals and snacks. You are also to avoid alcohol while you are taking this drug. The drug is most effective when it is accompanied by a healthy, balanced diet and regular exercise regimen.

EXERCISEEXERCISE

It is recommended to follow a regular exercise routine when taking Adipex P. Be sure to discuss with your physician first and get his or her approval. I'm 5'8" 165lbs. I just had a baby 5 months ago and i gained 75 lbs. mostly water. I'm having lots of problems with my feet, knees and lower back due to all the extra weight. I wasnt motivated to exercise or eat right and just felt like crap. I've been taking the pill for about 1 week now and I cant believe how good I feel. I have more energy that lasts me all day and motivates me to get out and exercise. I also eat right and feel good about myself knowing that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I started taking Adipex 3 weeks ago.I walk a mile and a half every day.I have so much more energy now and I am not wanting to constantly eat.I also have hypothyriodism and my levels are perfect ,so that actually helps with my weightloss and taking Adipex steps it up.I am 4'11 and I had weighed 150lbs.It got to the point to where I couldn't hardly bend down to tie my shoes. After 3 weeks of being on this weight loss program I now weigh 136.I go to the Dr.'s office every week and get a 3 in 1 shot. It's a b-12,fat burner, and it also speeds up your metabolism.I love taking the shots every week.It makes me feels as though I had slept for a long time and woke up feeling very refreshed.I am hoping to get down to 100 to 115lbs.After having 4-C-Sections I can only hope for the best.Anyways I do love this diet pill.Good luck to all others.

I started taking Adipex 30 days ago, and I have lost 16-1/2 pounds. The only side effect is dry mouth, so I just drink alot of water and chew sugar free gum. I advise everyone to take the pill early in the morning so it want keep you up at night. Exercise, Exercise and try to eat right. Good luck to everybody, because I know how hard it is trying to lose weight.

I began this pill last Monday and I have already lost 5 pounds! With only moderate exercise. I get more done in a couple hours now, than I used to get done in a day. I don't even like to look at food, but do drink a lot more because of the cotton mouth effect. A friend went on it and lost a little, but when she stepped up her exercise, the weight began to fall off.

I decided to get on the pill after having a baby I had got up to 215 after I was down to 179 and I was exercising and running 6 miles a day and dieting but I just couldn't get lower so I needed a little help. I am 5'10 and I have been taking the pill for a month. I am now down to 163 pounds and that is less then b4 I was pregnant! I love this pill and sometimes I just take a half or skip a day and then take it! I have had no problems and sometimes I take in the afternoon on purpose to stay awake when I need to study for a nursing test! I recommend!

For those who cannot sleep while on it, 1/2 a benadryl will enable you to fall asleep. :) It's non-habit forming so it's safe to take.

I have been taking Adipex for only 27 days now, and I have lost 15 lbs!!! This diet pill is amazing!!! It really surpresses your appetite, you literally have to "MAKE" yourself eat something!! You do not crave, or desire any food!. I take the pill in the morning between 6-7am, I walk 4 miles a week, and make my breakfast my largest meal of the day! I do not eat anything else for the rest of the day, because I do not feel hungry! This pill dries your mouth out, you will have cotton mouth, so drink "PLENTY" of water. I currently have high blood pressure, and am a borderline diabetic. My blood pressure ranges, before taking Adipex was 132-140/80, it only raised to 141/80. I highly recommend this pill for Anyone.

Just started today and have heard alot of good things about adipex. I have severe fibromyalgia and believe the weight loss should help with the pain. I never seem to have any energy due to my condition so my doctor and I decided ( well I told him I would take the lyrica again only if he would give me a diet pill because of the weight gain I had with lyrica last time I took it) to try adipex for two months. I am excited and he is very optimistic. So here I go starting on this journey. I know I can do it because I have before on my own but I know I need the help this time.

I started taking Adipex-p because I want to lose 11lb. In 3 wks. I've already lost 7lb. I take 1/3 of the pill everyday, because I've had anxiety in the past. And yes, you have to take it before 10 a.m. Once I took it at 10:30 a.m and it was 3 a.m and I still couldn't sleep. I've also had nausea, but your body just has to get use to the pill I'm 5'1 and 126 lb. want to get down to 115 lb. I'm not obese and a doctor still prescribed it to me. So i guess it's o.k if you want to lose 10 lb. or so and still be able to take the pill.
