What a great workout DVD!
I have never owned one before, I'm only 16, but my friend and I decided to get into shape. She wants to gain 2 lbs a week (she is only 102 lbs and 5'7) she is doing this to gain mucle along with eating lots and drinking protein shakes. But I want to LOOSE 2 lbs a week which will be a little harder. I am also 5'7 but 137 pounds, somedays more. I want to get down to 120 something. I did day 1 yesterday and it was awesome! She motivates you so much and I just want to push myself further! I am doing this along with. the bender ball workout, which is great for abs. We are working out together 3 days a week but I want to do both the 30 day and bender every day at least once. When school starts in a week I probably won't have time for more than 20 mins a day but right now I can.
I recommend this for anyone who is out of shape, but not more than 20-30 pounds overweight. I am not overweight, but I sure am out of shape! If you are 200+ this may be hard for you but you can always modify.

How many calories are burned with Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred? I am wondering approx. how many calories are burned with this workout? I am using loseit.com and you have to put in your exercise and calories burned. Anyone know? Thanks.

This video kills me every time! I'm still on workout 1 and I've been doing it for 18 days. I want to move on, but I want to master workout 1 before moving on to workout 2. I like this video a lot and it always makes me feel like I actually put in work.

i' been working out with another JM DVD and i have lost 6 pounds in 3 months. i'm having trouble working out as i should but i feel ok so far. i want to buy the 30 day shred to see how much more can i lose. but this time i will try to workout at least 5x a week. my goal is to lose 30 pound by November i hope i could it.. i'm determined to be strict about the diet and exercise and i know i definately i will do it...

I love jillian!!! I wont workout to any other trainer but her!! Ive lost 10 pounds in 11 days with 30 day shred along with reduced calorie diet. I workout everyday,in fact, the thought of missing a day makes me feel like im doing something wrong lol! I feel like she(jillian) is watching me lol! But thats what I love. I love how it feels like shes talking directly to me as im working out...i see the results on and off the scale. Thanks jillian!! :)

I have been dieting and exercising since August and have lost over 70 pounds. I have been jogging, lifting weights and riding my bike and have gone from a size 18 to an 8. I have about 10 more pounds to lose so I bought this DVD. I am on Day 2 in Level 1 and I am so sore!!! I love this workout and think it is going to be just what I need to get motivated again to shed the last few pounds and go down 1 more size!

I am getting married in the middle of August. I am the world's worst at staying motivated. After giving birth to my beautiful daughter last August, I weighed 189 lbs. I was disgusted with myself and hated the way that I looked and felt. I had to make a change. I started with getting myself to eat better and lowering my stress levels. (I have an anxiety disorder and wasn't healthy enough to start exercise.)

After January, my doctor suggested yoga. I loved it! I got Jillian's Yoga Meltdown and am down to 174 pounds. I started out in a size 16 and am now at a size 13.

I bought my wedding dress a few weeks ago. It is a size 9/10. I will not be getting this dress altered. I am going to lose the inches. This is something that I have to do for myself.

This is my second day on the 30 Day Shred. I am on a vegan diet (strictly 1200 calories/ day). I was in pain after my first session, but today I feel confident that I can do it.

I encourage everyone who has come to a point where they are serious about becoming more healthy to get active, eat right, and just do it! This video is a great place to begin.

I have done two days of level 1. I love it the only thing i am worried about it the soreness of my ankles and shins...I ran and did more intense workout in the military and didn't have ankles as sore as i do now! Does this get better with time?

I am currently on Level 2 of the workout and I look and feel so much better!! I honestly think Level 2 is easier than Level 1, however, I think that may be because my body is in better condition and I've stuck with it. The video has become part of my daily routine and on the days I can't do it, I feel like I'm going through withdrawl. lol
It's an amazing workout and I thank Jillian for pushing me to my limits because the results are there if you stick to it! I haven't lost a ton of weight with it, but I can see the changes in my body, and I've noticed that my arms are more toned and that I actually have abs! Very happy with this workout and I recommend it for everyone. I can't say enough about how great it is!

This is an amazing workout and if you eat a diet plan specified for weight loss you will get amazing results. I lost four pounds in one week and that was with a healthy diet plan, even cheated once or twice! :)

How to stay motivated? I am debating on buying the video today... I am 5' 4" and weight 148. I have a goal weight of 128 by the end of June 2011. I need help keeping myself motivated.. any suggestions?

You people need to stop obsessing about the "pounds" you are or aren't losing and worry about the inches and how your clothes are fitting. If you are gaining muscle (and muscle weighs more than fat) then you won't see a lot of difference on the scale but you should see a difference in the size of your waist and the drop in dress sizes. Being skinny doesn't equal being healthy!

I LOVE this workout! I've just done day 7, and I've lost 2lbs so far, but I also think I've gained muscle and can already see changes in my body!
Although the weight isn't coming off quite as quickly as I hoped (as I'm on a calorie controlled diet too) I feel so much better for the exercise and the toning is definitely happening!
I want to lose 35lb over the next 4 months, so steady weight loss is fine by me, I'm not looking to drop 20lbs in a month....I just want banish it by the end of July!!!

Day 2 and I feel like Ive been hit by a bus.... Felt this way after the first day BUT i know the pain is worth the goal i have placed. I hope to lose 10lbs by the end of the 30 days. I love it! Started my first day on level 1! Im gonna be so sore in the morning. I had soooo much Stamina and energy when I got done with the Video! I was cussing her the whole time but I feel sooo Much better!

omg! i just done day 1 of this dvd, and i feel like iv been hit by a train! im so sore! im really hoping to see results at the end of the 30 days. im so sore i almost dread doing it 2mrrw.. but its all gonna be worth it in the long run. good luck ladys!

I have been on this chocolate whey protein for one month. I have lost 13 pounds so far. I have no hunger. I eat healthier then ever. I love this whey protein. I put it in my oatmeal and yogurt mixture I eat every morning. You want be disappointed. I take only one scoop. Amazing. Thank you Jillian for this product it is a god sent. God bless you helping all of we have a better life because of you. I am starting to like myself more now every daay. My mood has improved. I love you.
