The price is reasonable, especially for the longer subscription commitments.
I bought the book out of curiosity - since I am a Type 1 diabetic of 43 years. The book has some excellent recipes - though beware of the carb count given - especially when the recipe calls for 2 slices of high fibre brown bread - since bread manufacturers can vary - and the carb amount that was given in one recipe was off by about 15 grams - but all in all - very good diet for EVERYONE to follow - whether they be diabetic or not.
I did try to go to their website - since purchasing the book entitles you to some free recipes, but their website is closed to any new members - so I'm going to have to contend with the ... 250 recipes that are in the book. That'll do me for at least 1/2 the year of good - low sugar eating right? :)
Here's to good health everyone - read your food labels / try to do 30 minutes of exercise each day if you can!

I am a type 2 diabetic. I just quit smoking recently and my sugar readings went nuts. I started reading the Sugar Solutions Book and tried putting some of the principles to practice while reading. The control over my glucose started with in two days. I am going to the Docors and weighing in this week. I showed my mother-in-law the book and she read parts I highlighted and demarked; the she gave me her blessing. My wife who is a long time Weight Watchers Fan and practicer is trying to follow it too. I would say inaction is the killer. Get up, get out and get to it. I started walking everyday and I can tell you the walk is great, I am into this at day 12 and I feel better than I have in 4 years. My goal is to be prescription drug free by January 2010. I am at May 25, 2009. Good Luck to all of you and God Bless.

I have tried this diet and I like it. I lost 30 pounds, but this season I have gained some back. I will probably do this diet again. I like to cook and some of the recipes are excellent.

I lost 20 lbs. in one month just following the sugar solution plan, not to mention being a Type 2 Diabetic, it improved my Blood Sugar/Blood Glucose Numbers dramatically within two weeks! In fact just by following this plan, I have been able to maintain a BS/BG level of 4.9 consistantly and have even been taken off some of my medications and losing weight and working on getting off all of my diabetic medications and becoming healthy by losing all of my weight by following this plan!
