Citrus Marinade

A sweet punch of flavor for chicken, fish and shrimp.

Nutrition Facts: 122 Calories, .3g Fat, 10mg Sodium, 32g Carbs, .9g Fiber, 25.7g Sugar, 1.3g Protein
Yield: 1 recipe = 5 oz.


  • 1 orange
  • 1 lime 
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Handful of fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbs. honey
  • 1/2 Tbs. cumin
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • Dash of kosher salt and black pepper 


  1. Squeeze the juice from the fruits into a bowl
  2. Add all other ingredients
  3. Wisk together
  4. Keep chilled and marinate choice of 4 chicken breasts, 4 salmon filets or 1 lb. shrimp for up to 30 minutes
  5. Best when grilled, but stovetop or oven cooking will work as well
  6. Serve as a main entree, or use in tacos, kabobs or salads

I live and die by this recipe. I've only used it for chicken but it wakes it up and packs a flavorful punch.
