Sugarless Bars

A Chewy and Wholesome bar that is great for meals on the go!

Yield: 16 bars

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c. Saffola
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, and spices, mixing well; set aside
  2. Cream bananas, eggs, saffola, buttermilk, and vanilla, blending well
  3. Add dry ingredients, then add dates, nuts and oats
  4. Pour into greased 9x13 inch baking pan
  5. Bake in 325 degree oven for about 25 minutes or until done
  6. Let cool completely and cut into 16 bars
  7. May add flax seed and sunflower seed for enhanced protein and nutrition
