+I'm so stoked to be a part of this challenge. This is very exciting for me. I TRY to jog every once in a while but getting me out there like this walking everyday, maybe this will help me to pick up my feet a little more and jog more often. Can't wait to see what Courtney has in store for us next week!

I'm in. This week I am especially proud that on a day that I had dinner plans it would have been easy to make up an excuse to skip the gym and not workout. But I made myself do the highest calorie burning workout so that I could accomplish a lot in a shorter amount of time. So I jogged for 30 min. That's a big deal because normally I would have let the other stuff get me out of the workout.

Wow... i am so there. thanks for what you said Court about taking time for yourself will help others. I am a natural people pleaser and have a hard time with the word NO to anyone... and I know that in order to truly help others, I need to help me. I have lost about 30 lbs to date, and need to lose about 30 more.... so I am halfway there and this is the mountain that I just can't conquer it seems... my plateau... i have ranged here for about a year within 5 lbs +/-.... so looking forward to this challenge!

I met my friend and three of her five dogs for a 70 minute walk. It was really hot so we went slow as the dogs were dragging a bit. I walked the one mile to the park instead of driving. I want to really try to meet this challenge and walk every day. I literally have not worked out for months, I keep thinking I will do it tomorrow and then stress out because I think I know I will say the same thing the next day. I am frustrated with myself for not changing what I have 100% control of. I have very little support when it comes to life in general and especially working out so it is a real challenge to do this. I want to get out there and walk every day and not worry about the time or distance but just do it. I get overwhelmed think if what I did was far enough or long enough and end up doing nothing when the reality is when I actually get out there I tend to do plenty. And the actual doing part isn't bad at all, for me it is the mental part of getting motivated to do it. It is true you can do this at home and don't need a TV show to accomplish this goal. The part that I wish for though, when it comes to being a participant on the show, is the camaraderie and relationships formed that create a fabulous support system both while on the show and beyond.

love this courtney! started walking again yesterday & got 2miles in 30minutes. it feels amazing. to be able to clear your mind & get exercise in at the same time is the best. i love walking - you can count on me to be out there once to twice a day walking my booty off :).

I am committing to taking a walk with my dog every day. I need the mental clarity. I am a Navy wife going through major emotional stress with upcoming deployments and the demand of the military lifestyle. Walking will save my life! Thanks! : )
