+One last thing! Giving your kid a Gummy Multivitamin in addition to the Calcium supplement meets and slightly exceeds the daily amount for vitamin D.

+The best vitamin D supplement I've found for kids is either the L'il Critters Calcium Gummy Bears with Vitamin D found at Target, Fred Meyer, and similar stores. The bears taste good and one serving is equivalent to 5 oz. of milk in addition to 50% of the recommended daily dose of Vitamin D for kids. Another alternative is the Rhino Swirlm' Calci-Bears also with Vitamin D-- these are sold at Whole Foods and Fred Meyers in the healthfood section.
