Please note, the product DietsInReview.com has reviewed is available at Nuphedrine.com. There is confusion amongst consumers about the color and packaging of the pills. In 2008, Nuphedrine changed manufacturers, and in the process updated their packaging and the color of the pills. The current Nuphedrine product is sold in a box with individual packets inside.
Nuphedrine is a highly-sought after, but highly controversial diet supplement. It contains two key ingredients which have been implicated in aiding weight loss: Advantra-Z and Hoodia. Advantra-Z is a patented form of synephrine or citrus aurantium, a similar product to the now banned ephedra. Hoodia is a cactus plant that hails from South Africa where it has long been used as an appetite suppressant for tribal men on long treks through the countryside. It has recently gained enormous popularity in the US. Nuphedrine also contains Slimaluma, a patented product that is also supposed to suppress appetite.
Nuphedrine is not supposed to cause any side effects. It does not contain any stimulants like caffeine or taurine.

INGREDIENTS
Nuphedrine contains certified, 20X South African Hoodia, Advantra-Z in the 30X potency and Slimaluma.
Here is a breakdown of the three ingredients of Nuphedrine and how they work to help you lose weight:
Advantra-Z alone is supposed to help you burn an extra 500 calories a day with its 30X "Extra Strength" concentration. Advantra-Z claims that it enhances weight loss, increases lean muscle mass, improves athletic performance and suppresses appetite.
Hoodia contains a compound called ‘P57’, which is a molecule that makes you feel full. But only pure hoodia contains this special molecule. Many studies have shown that even though a product may claim it is pure hoodia or certified hoodia, it is not the real thing. The hoodia contained in NuPhedrine is concentrated 20 times and has a standardized guaranteed 20:1 ratio rating.
The third ingredient in Nuphedrine , Slimaluma is sends signals to your brain while you’re eating telling you that you’re full. Given its effects on satiety, a little amount of food can go along way in tricking you into feeling that you’ve eaten enough to quell your appetite even though very little food has been consumed.
ADMINISTRATION
It is recommended that you take three capsules of Nuphedrine per day. Two capsules should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach or 1-2 hours after eating. The third capsule should be taken at mid-day to help get you through the evening.
DIET and EXERCISE
There are no specific dietary or exercise recommendations while taking any Nuphedrine but the company does recommend that you follow a sensible eating and exercise plan.

I bought a bottle off of ebay, just wondering if it was the real thing or not, it is a maroon and white pill with no writing on it, the bottle of course looks like what they show on the web site but I don't know what the pills are supossed to look like.

I ordered on 3/31/2008 (Priority shipping 2 to 4 days)from the Nuphedrine web sit. I received them on 4/3 from USPS. They are solid blue, 90 caps to a box. Started taking on 4/4 as directed on the box, 2 in am on empty stomach and one in the afternoon. First two days had some nausea in the afternoon. Noticed yesterday (on day 2)...though I get hungry I'm eating less and more satisfied!! This is my 3rd day taking them and I really notice a decrease in my appitite today. Oh, I called cust. service on 4/2, after reading the reviews on this site I was a bit concerned, they were very helpful; told me when they were shipped out, when I would receive them and what color they are. He said they have always been the same color (solid blue).

THIS COMPANY HAS NO INTEGRITY. THEY REFUSE TO LET YOU SPEAK WITH MANAGEMENT. THEY TOLD ME I WOULD BE GETTING 6 MONTHS OF PILLS FOR THE PRICE OF 4 (A PROMO) AND I ONLY RECIEVED 4. CECI WAS FULL OF APOLOGIES WHEN I CALLED IN - BUT I RECIEVED NO RESULTS. BE CAREFUL - THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.

When I ordered my Nuphedrine it was over the phone. The conversation was SUPPOSED to be recorded. The man I talked with said that I would recieve 6 months for $170 (there was a promotion that if you bought 4 months you get 2 free). So I recieve my package (2 days late) and there are only 4 boxes. I called and talked to Ceci - supposedly the manager of customer service. I explained that I only recieved 4 of the 6 boxes. She would not give me any information at all or let me talk to her boss. She doesn't "remember" the guy I ordered from and since they are a new company they didn't have the phone recordings working yet. I've spent HOURS trying to get this figured out. She gave me NO information and just kept apologizing. So now I spent $200 on 4 boxes when I could have gotten 6, and if I am not happy with that then I can go through the trouble of personally mailing the pills back. .

Thanks for your advice on anoretix. First time buying anything like that so I never really thought it through. Im just waiting on them to come. I was really going by there feedback on ebay as they sell on ebay too and the feedback seems to be great. So did you try them or do you think they are unsafe? Just want to know if anyone thinks they work. Thanks : )

never order from a website without a phone number and address. this anoretis product is a joke. The website was created in late DEC 2007 (http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.ch?ip=anoretix.com) and there are testimonials on their site of people saying they were on it for 3 months and these testimonials have been on here since the website went up. this stuff isn't sold in stores so how did they have anyone on this stuff for 3 months to write a testimonial when no one could have bought it then and been on it for 3 months? I think it is obvious that this is a shady product and most likely a scam.

I tried Anoretix, horrible stuff and the worst part of it was they don't have any contact information other than an email address. you know what they say about websites without a phone number and address...most likely a scam. Flyby night company. I personally will never order from a website without a phone number and address. And a word of advice, call the phone number and make sure you get through to someone. Some companies have a phone number but it always goes to an answering machine because they are also scams.

i've lost about 25 pounds in 4 months. Been taking nuphedrine for the last two and i'm pretty sure it's helped. I drink a lot of water and i run for 20 minutes and bike for another 20, 5 days a week. no more soda and late night snacks. i eat big lunches and very small dinners. One florida navel orange every morning. hope this helps someone.

TO THOSE CONFUSED ABOUT THE PILL COLORS: My pills are Blue & White & say 30 mgs on them & I have been on them for over a month & have had no probs nor have I any reason to believe that these Blue & White NuPhedrine Pills are fake or ineffective in any way. Including all my family members & friends who all ordered NuPhedrine - they all got legit Blue & white Pills - 30 mgs.Jessica Your Pills are legit. Hope they work for you. Follow the directions, Be Patient, & Use Good Common Sense!!!!! Please write back to us & tell us how NUPHEDRINE worked (or not?) for you! THANKS! IT HAS WORKED SOME FOR ME, BUT NOT QUITE BEEN THE WONDER SUPPLEMENT THAT I HAD HOPED FOR. NuPhedrine has been great, I have lost a lot of lbs on it - I just hit a plateau & didn' know what to do. The More Cardio & the harder I did it & the longer I did it - along with the weight resistence training, the more I FELT LIKE I WOULD EVENTUALLY HAVE A HEART ATTACK AT THE RATE THAT I WAS GOING & WORSE THE lost LBS WERE MAKING A REAPPEARANCE AROUND MY WAIST. I ordered the pills on 03/25/08 and received them on 03/27/08. Wow! I was impressed. My pills are completly blue too, are they correct? "Anonymous: The pills are blue and white with 30 mg wriiten on the capsule." Please advise I am as confused as Shannon.

MICKEY, HOW COULD YOU BE SO CRUEL TO THAT GIRL NAMED LAURA? I READ THAT & I JUST THINK THAT YOU ARE REALLY MAD AT SOMEONE OR SOMETHING THAT HAS NOTHING TO WITH LAURA'S STORY. I BELIEVE THAT HER MOTHER COULD VERY WELL HAVE DIED AFTER TAKING THESE PILLS. I HAVE HAD REALLY BAD REACTIONS TO MEDICINES THAT PEOPLE TAKE EVERY DAY. I HAVE HAD NEAR FATAL REACTIONS TO THINGS THEY GIVE IN THE HOSPITAL AS WELL ORDINARY MEDS LIKE BENYDRYL. I HAD A GRAND MAL SEIZURE AFTER TAKING A BENYDRYL FOR STRESS LIKE MY DOCTOR TOLD ME TOO. LUCKILY I MADE TO THE HOSPITAL IN TIME FOR THE ER DOCS TO ADMINISTER ENOUGH ATIVAN QUICKLY ENOUGH TO STOP THE SEIZURE BEFORE I DID STROKE OUT OR HAVE A HEART ATTACK. I WAS 22 THEN. THESE THINGS JUST HAPPEN & SUING ISN'T ALWAYS THE ANSWER- YOU WOULD KNOW THAT IF YOU HAD AN INTRODUCTORY CLASS TO EVIDENCE. EVER HEAR OF CHAIN OF EVIDENCE? OH WELL. My pills arrived quickly and I have been taking them everyday for a little over a week. Mine are blue and come three to a clear package for each day. Someone above mentioned that theirs are blue and white. Does everyone on here have blue and white pills or do some of you have all blue pills? Did they ship me the wrong thing? I'm nervous now. Help!
