Please note, the product DietsInReview.com has reviewed is available at Nuphedrine.com. There is confusion amongst consumers about the color and packaging of the pills. In 2008, Nuphedrine changed manufacturers, and in the process updated their packaging and the color of the pills. The current Nuphedrine product is sold in a box with individual packets inside.
Nuphedrine is a highly-sought after, but highly controversial diet supplement. It contains two key ingredients which have been implicated in aiding weight loss: Advantra-Z and Hoodia. Advantra-Z is a patented form of synephrine or citrus aurantium, a similar product to the now banned ephedra. Hoodia is a cactus plant that hails from South Africa where it has long been used as an appetite suppressant for tribal men on long treks through the countryside. It has recently gained enormous popularity in the US. Nuphedrine also contains Slimaluma, a patented product that is also supposed to suppress appetite.
Nuphedrine is not supposed to cause any side effects. It does not contain any stimulants like caffeine or taurine.

INGREDIENTS
Nuphedrine contains certified, 20X South African Hoodia, Advantra-Z in the 30X potency and Slimaluma.
Here is a breakdown of the three ingredients of Nuphedrine and how they work to help you lose weight:
Advantra-Z alone is supposed to help you burn an extra 500 calories a day with its 30X "Extra Strength" concentration. Advantra-Z claims that it enhances weight loss, increases lean muscle mass, improves athletic performance and suppresses appetite.
Hoodia contains a compound called ‘P57’, which is a molecule that makes you feel full. But only pure hoodia contains this special molecule. Many studies have shown that even though a product may claim it is pure hoodia or certified hoodia, it is not the real thing. The hoodia contained in NuPhedrine is concentrated 20 times and has a standardized guaranteed 20:1 ratio rating.
The third ingredient in Nuphedrine , Slimaluma is sends signals to your brain while you’re eating telling you that you’re full. Given its effects on satiety, a little amount of food can go along way in tricking you into feeling that you’ve eaten enough to quell your appetite even though very little food has been consumed.
ADMINISTRATION
It is recommended that you take three capsules of Nuphedrine per day. Two capsules should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach or 1-2 hours after eating. The third capsule should be taken at mid-day to help get you through the evening.
DIET and EXERCISE
There are no specific dietary or exercise recommendations while taking any Nuphedrine but the company does recommend that you follow a sensible eating and exercise plan.
CONCLUSION

I think this product is great. It is no miracle pill - nothing is, but I have tried other diet pills like Leptovox, Alli, SlimQuick, and this is the only one that has worked for me. I have lost about 10 lbs in the past 6 weeks. It of course works better if you exercise and eat better, but seeing the pounds shed off gives you more motivation to work out and eat right. One amazing thing I can say is that over the holidays I took the pills everyday, did not work out, and ate a lot and did not gain ANY weight. Usually I gain at least 5 lbs during the holidays. I just ordered my second bottle and hope to lose more weight! It seems as if you do not work out or change your diet it will just keep you at the same weight, but it is a great boost if you are looking to change your diet and exercise more. Before this product I worked out about 2x a week, and now I work out 3-4x. It is a great appetite suppresant, sometimes I have to make myself eat! I think it works best if you take it 30-45 min before you eat a meal and some days I do take 3 pills because the energy doesn't keep me up. Good Luck!

My order took 2 weeks to get to me but it was actually 7 business so i guess it was on time, but it felt like a long time. anyhow i got it and it's pretty decent stuff. I'm trying to lose 20 pounds, so i'll post my progress here after a few weeks. cheers!

Capsule color differences - often times in manufacturing, the actual 'capsules' that are just the container for the raw ingredients - are bought in bulk. The reason for the varying colors - blue/white - red/white - red/grey - could simply mean they used up one supply and when re-ordering, a different capsule color was available or at a better price. I don't think the color means you are getting any different raw ingredients. And no, I'm not associated with this company - I happened on this review while researching whether to try this product....and I think I'm going to give it a try. **For those who have repeatedly asked "If I stop taking it, will I gain the weight back" Common sense tells us, if you continue to do the same poor eating choices/habits and do not add any more activity to your lifestyle - you will be consuming more calories than you are expending and 'yes' you will gain the weight back. The goal is to improve our eating habits and be conscious of the extra 'tid-bit' calories we consume 'mindlessly' throughout the day. They add up FAST and don't really fill any nutritional needs - so we continue to munch along. I started keeping a log of everything I ate for 7 days - and NO WONDER I'm 50 pounds HEAVIER than I want (or should) be!

I am turning 40 and just need to lose 5-10 lbs. It's getting harder every day. I ordered it in Nov. and did not receive mine for almost 3 wks., called and they were very helpful and I got it a few days later. They said they would refund my 2 day delivery charge, but kind of skipped over that topic, quickly. I was on it for about a week and felt shakey, and a little frenzied(heart racing, talking fast, etc). It did not curb my hunger, in fact, it gave me that queasy, "I need to eat" feeling. This is the feeling that I am used to getting, sometimes, w/ birth control pills. It may have just been an eating trigger for me since that usually cures that feeling. I only lost a couple of pounds and had more of a hyper energy than a normal increase. I got off of it because I wanted to see what would happen and realized that you can't live on a pill forever to keep weight off. The weight came right back on in a couple of days. Has anyone had this experience? Going off of it and gaining the weight back? I would go back on it, to lose the weight for a trip that I am going on in 2 weeks, but I'm afraid that it will go right back on. My usual calorie cutting and working out does not do the trick as much as it used to.(getting,older sucks!!).

My weight goes up and down about 8 pounds on a daily basis. If i drink a lot of water and eat of alot of food and weigh myself, i'm like 8 pounds heavier. When I don't eat a lot and don't drink too much and weigh myself, i'm about 8 pounds lighter. i'm 5'8" and 170 to 178 pounds, depending on when i weigh myself. So, not a surprise to me that someone can lose 7 pounds in one week. sometimes it's water weight or it's just food in your body that makes the difference. I'm guessing this is the case for most people my size. either way, if i didn't eat or drink i would lose about 8 pounds in one day, so don't put so much hype into losing 7 pounds in a week. Could be that you didn't eat anything that day when you weighed yourself.

Hi, I put comments on a week ago and said I would let you know how my next weigh in went ... well i can inform you that i lost a grand total of 1kg (2.2lbs), in order to do this I have had to up my tablets to 2 in the morning and 2 at lunch time and now my appetite is supressed. i am not a greedy person, i do not eat massive meals and i only want to lose about a stone and a half. i tried these pills to kick start my diet ... the only thing gettin a kickin is my wallet. i am wondering if these people who are losing 7lbs in a week and more are from the Marketing Team, cause the only way you can lose that much is to not eat at all ... and that can't be right? can it !!!!

This is for soda drinker. Thanks oh so much...i really am proud of myself. Thats the problem...i drink water everyday but once a week, preferably sunday night ill have a cup of coke with my dinner. You cant completely cut it out from your diet cause then youll binge if you satisfy your craving once a week it will be easier to keep your diet without messing it up in one day. Just be strong and wait till the weekend and drink one or two cokes, BUT diet coke or coke zero. it will kick the craving and wont make you binge. AND TO EVRYONE ELSE!!!! I really dont care if the marketing team put their own comments ....EVERY company does that. I have really seen results so if you wanna talk to me and see if its true let me know and ill give you my email. I have nothing to hide...im 21 and i work at a college as an admissions rep.... let me know and ill email you....Once again have fun losing your weight with this pill. you will be surprised!

Good for you Lari! I think the reason why i gain so much weight is because of the soda i drink. Only drinking water is a good idea and i have tried it. it is SOOO HARD, i love my pepsi and my sprite too much, and when i go a week just drinking water, i feel i like deserve a reward and binge on a like a six pack on the weekend days. six pack per day :(

NORMALLY, i would have given up by now and i would have come back and said that its a crappy pill...but i gotta admit its the first pill and diet i have stuck too. I hvae lost 10 lbs in a week and a half. I really think this is a great pill..Now of course i have also been dieting...Only water, lean cusine for lunch and dinner, weight control oatmeal for breakfast and light yogurt and jello as snacks. Ive majorly cut calories and have been eating only healthy. and i have literally only cheated once in the time i have been dieintg...and i ate chicken kitchen for crying outloud...lol...so i think its working very well so far. ill keep you updated as i start losing more weight. Have fun seeing good results.

I ordered on monday and received on friday! On 2nd day and def eating less, although sometimes feel like I need to eat as get a bit shakey, but Im a massive chocaholic and sweet guzzler and I havnt had a craving yet!! I know its only the 2nd day but fingers x. Ive had a few hot flushes but apart from that, all ok? Will keep you posted....

Well i'm sorry but i don't buy from a website that has no phone numbers or customer service contact info and paypal as the only payment options -- that a red flag for FLY BY NIGHT COMPANIES.
