In 2008, Nuphedrine changed manufacturers, and in the process updated their packaging and the color of the pills. The current Nuphedrine product is sold in a box with individual packets inside.
Nuphedrine is a highly-sought after, but highly controversial diet supplement. It contains two key ingredients which have been implicated in aiding weight loss: Advantra-Z and Hoodia. Advantra-Z is a patented form of synephrine or citrus aurantium, a similar product to the now banned ephedra. Hoodia is a cactus plant that hails from South Africa where it has long been used as an appetite suppressant for tribal men on long treks through the countryside. It has recently gained enormous popularity in the US. Nuphedrine also contains Slimaluma, a patented product that is also supposed to suppress appetite.
Nuphedrine is not supposed to cause any side effects. It does not contain any stimulants like caffeine or taurine.

Nuphedrine contains certified, 20X South African Hoodia, Advantra-Z in the 30X potency and Slimaluma.
Here is a breakdown of the three ingredients of Nuphedrine and how they work to help you lose weight:
Advantra-Z alone is supposed to help you burn an extra 500 calories a day with its 30X "Extra Strength" concentration. Advantra-Z claims that it enhances weight loss, increases lean muscle mass, improves athletic performance and suppresses appetite.
Hoodia contains a compound called ‘P57’, which is a molecule that makes you feel full. But only pure hoodia contains this special molecule. Many studies have shown that even though a product may claim it is pure hoodia or certified hoodia, it is not the real thing. The hoodia contained in NuPhedrine is concentrated 20 times and has a standardized guaranteed 20:1 ratio rating.
The third ingredient in Nuphedrine , Slimaluma is sends signals to your brain while you’re eating telling you that you’re full. Given its effects on satiety, a little amount of food can go along way in tricking you into feeling that you’ve eaten enough to quell your appetite even though very little food has been consumed.
ADMINISTRATION
It is recommended that you take three capsules of Nuphedrine per day. Two capsules should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach or 1-2 hours after eating. The third capsule should be taken at mid-day to help get you through the evening.

There are no specific dietary or exercise recommendations while taking any Nuphedrine but the company does recommend that you follow a sensible eating and exercise plan.

I have a 14 year old and he's overweight. I came across this product a few months ago and bought it for my son. He's lost a lot of weight and has more energy than he's ever had before. His weight loss also boosted his confidence and his depression has gotten better. He actually has a positive outlook on life. I just wanted to share this because I think it's important for people to remember that being overweight not only affects your pant size but your overall health, body and mind. Well, I have been using for a little less than a month, I have not exercised, I have tried to eat in moderation, and I lost 10 pounds, my month isn't up yet. I'm curious to find out what "no good for me" did in order to gain weight. lol. So far, I like the way that this doesn't make me feel, ie, shaky, headaches, etc. I'm sure if I actually exercised, I'd lose more. I got a bottle in the mail, had no problems with shipping (I used the express shipping), my pills are red/gray (curious about all the different colors also), and they came in a 60 count bottle. I purchased 2 bottles since I wasn't sure how many I'd be getting. To the "fatsos" comment, you are correct, unfortunately, many of us aren't as rigorous in that belief as you are. Ie, we might know, but, doesn't mean we have the will to follow it. I certainly don't. I needed a boost to get me through my 12 hour shifts, as well as some weight loss so I don't tear up my joints since I'm such a fatso. :) So far this is working well for me. I'm sure you have better things to do than to come onto this page and belittle people. You were doing fine until you couldn't control yourself and whipped out the name calling.

I just got my pills over the holidays. I took one this morning and still was hungry. I forgot to takethis afternoon but I will take one on my way home so hpefully won't be that hungry for dinner. My pills are Red and White. I have read on here that the blue and white pills worked. Has anyone had sussess with the red/white pills? I am getting married in June this year and need to lose all this wait I gained from the medicine I was on for a year... I have taken a lot of diet pills and it just seems without the Edphedra they just do not work...

$75 is a bit pricey but the good stuff usually is. They seem to have a 60 day guarantee which is pretty sweet. I guess the most you would lose if you didn?t like this stuff is the shipping and handling on shipping it back to them, but I think most people can afford $0.41 for a stamp. ;) Anyway, if you're like me, you probably spend $100 to $200 on food per week and if you can cut the food cost down, than the price for some diet pills isn't so bad. Think about it, what's more important, spending a little more money on product to improve your health, or saving that money to buy greasy fried food from the local fast food restaurant so that you can take a few days off your life. I guess it's easy to see why there are so many stupid fat idiots walking around with excuses on why they can?t lose weight. This is for all you idiots out there ? losing weight isn?t easy ? NO PAIN NO GAIN, I know trust me!

yeah i feel a little funny on them but that funny feeling i think is what helps suppress apetite. It's working out for me so i don't mind it.

Seeing you take these before breakfast and lunch, does anyone experience hunger pangs around dinner or later at night?

Food addiction and being overweight is not just a simple problem as some people think and people like me need some help. It's easy for you to just say eat & exercise. I work all day and I?m drained when I get home. How do I start exercising when I don't have any energy? How to I stay away from food when I?m constantly hunger? So why did I order these pills, because I needed something to help curb my appetite and give me some energy at the end of the day to start working out. Did the pills work, YES! I have lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks. I eat less and have energy to work out. Even on days when I don?t work out, I feel better, have more energy.----------------What I want to know is why you are here on this site. Do you go around to weight loss sites and make fun of overweight people because you get off on it. If you know to exercise and eat right why are you looking for a diet product? I'm not really overweight (5'5, 125 lbs) but wanted to lose an extra 10 lbs. It's really hard for me to lose weight nomatter how little I eat even though I mostly eat salads (with out dressing) and am inclined to eat rather lean. I thought that this Nuphedrine would really help but I guess it works with some people better than others. After 3 weeks on this I lost 2 pounds but gained several headaches. It suppresses hunger but eating any less than I already do is simply fasting. I didn't care for this product. It did very little for the price. Maybe that's not the case for everyone but still, it is over priced.

it took about a week to get my order. regular dosage was a little weak for me so i doubled up and def notice the difference. Pretty pricey stuff but i would say good quality ingredients. Other supplements i have taken usually have zero effect on me.
