Please note, the product DietsInReview.com has reviewed is available at Nuphedrine.com. There is confusion amongst consumers about the color and packaging of the pills. In 2008, Nuphedrine changed manufacturers, and in the process updated their packaging and the color of the pills. The current Nuphedrine product is sold in a box with individual packets inside.
Nuphedrine is a highly-sought after, but highly controversial diet supplement. It contains two key ingredients which have been implicated in aiding weight loss: Advantra-Z and Hoodia. Advantra-Z is a patented form of synephrine or citrus aurantium, a similar product to the now banned ephedra. Hoodia is a cactus plant that hails from South Africa where it has long been used as an appetite suppressant for tribal men on long treks through the countryside. It has recently gained enormous popularity in the US. Nuphedrine also contains Slimaluma, a patented product that is also supposed to suppress appetite.
Nuphedrine is not supposed to cause any side effects. It does not contain any stimulants like caffeine or taurine.

INGREDIENTS
Nuphedrine contains certified, 20X South African Hoodia, Advantra-Z in the 30X potency and Slimaluma.
Here is a breakdown of the three ingredients of Nuphedrine and how they work to help you lose weight:
Advantra-Z alone is supposed to help you burn an extra 500 calories a day with its 30X "Extra Strength" concentration. Advantra-Z claims that it enhances weight loss, increases lean muscle mass, improves athletic performance and suppresses appetite.
Hoodia contains a compound called ‘P57’, which is a molecule that makes you feel full. But only pure hoodia contains this special molecule. Many studies have shown that even though a product may claim it is pure hoodia or certified hoodia, it is not the real thing. The hoodia contained in NuPhedrine is concentrated 20 times and has a standardized guaranteed 20:1 ratio rating.
The third ingredient in Nuphedrine , Slimaluma is sends signals to your brain while you’re eating telling you that you’re full. Given its effects on satiety, a little amount of food can go along way in tricking you into feeling that you’ve eaten enough to quell your appetite even though very little food has been consumed.
ADMINISTRATION
It is recommended that you take three capsules of Nuphedrine per day. Two capsules should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach or 1-2 hours after eating. The third capsule should be taken at mid-day to help get you through the evening.

There are no specific dietary or exercise recommendations while taking any Nuphedrine but the company does recommend that you follow a sensible eating and exercise plan.

I ordered mine 3/3/08. Tried it for 2 wk faithfully. True, I didnt feel hungry but I always have to eat something because I was so nauseous. I had a terrible heckache and I was sooooooooooooooooooooo constipated. I kid you not, I couldn't sleep at all when taking this pill. I gained about 4lb pounds on it. I decided to return the product on 3/27/08 and just today 4/13/08 received my refund. Also too, i couldnt concentrate at work when I was taking this pill. I was alway in a bad mood like I was about to explode. I have a really mean Supervisor and she is a Bully and very controlling. I always held back and never speak up when I'm being mistreated...but while taking this pill, I went off on her and let her have. I sure did. It did make me feel any better be because I was being mean to my husband and kids as well......I'm normally a quiet and reserve person but this pill always made me Angry and mean. I was not able to control my temper. Have anyone you been trhough the same feelings I have......

Well as of today I lost 2 pounds and only started taking them yesterday. I have had a lot of energy and am hardly hungry. I am keeping a log so i can track how much I lose everyday. I will update you if there is anymore weight loss.

I started taking mines on 4/10/08. They were soild blue. I called 2 find out what color they were n they said that they r always blue. I don't know what's up with all the different colors. So far they seem 2 b working 4 me. I have lost 2pounds! I will keep u posted.

EVEN THOUGH I AM VERY SKEPTICAL BECAUSE THEY CAME FROM EBAY AND CAME FROM A REPUTABLE SELLER MIND U - WHICH REALLY DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING - BUT ANYHOW, MY HUBBY TOOK ONE THIS MORNING AROUND 9 AM. HE IS WORKING A 24 HOUR SHIFT AND AS I KEEP CALLING HIM HE SAYS THAT HE FEELS FINE, NO JITTERS, NO ANXIETY, NO NOTHING. NOT EVEN HUNGRY. AND TRUST ME.... HE CAN EAT!!! Hi I purchased my set of pills off Ebay and they are the Red and Gray. The person I bought them from is the one who provided me with this site. Mine didn't come with a certificate or anything so I don't know if in the long run that means they won't work and I was scammed but i took them for the first time yesterday and i had a lot of energy and I wasnt hungry at all. Hopefully these really work I will keep you updated.

I purchased what i thought was Nuphedrine on eBay and I was later contacted by eBay because the seller's listings were take down because it was reported ad fake products. I have since returned the product and disputed the charge with my credit card company. If you bought from eBay, just return it to the seller and get a refund. If they don't refund just call your credit card company to file a dispute. You will get your money back.

This is the day no 46 since I ordered Nuphedrine and counting. I've sent dozen of emails, and tried hard to reach them by phone, no luck. Don't buy from Ebay cause i read somewhere that those are bootleg. if you check the seller ratings from those sellers, they are really low which just seems odd. I would just get it from the website with the guarantees.

Hi Crossing My Fingers in NC. I received a Certificate Of Authenticity with my order. It's a certificate of origin that the Hoodia Gordonii came from South Africa. They say this is important in ensuring that the P-57 molecule is active and potent. It may be a selling line. Do you have a money back guarantee if it doesn't work for you? With or without a Cert of Auth. it may or may not work. That's why I only buy if they offer a "money back guarantee. 4/8/08

I started taking mines for 1 week, I have lost 8 pounds. Pills are solid blue; 3 in transparent plastic for daily dosage. Company was fast. Included the certifcate which to me it doesn't mean anything because anyone could make something like this in photoshop and printed out.

well. it is tuesday and i still haven't received my pills from ebay. i, like an idiot, asked my seller after i purchased them; if there was the authentication certicficate with the pills and he replied no but that they were real nuphedrine pills. i'm scared as hell now to take them. so many questions people are having about the color and i just don't know what to think anymore. i think that this supplement has gotten way out of hand. you should never have to keep guessing what color a pill is. if there is no authentication certificate is it fake? i'm so confused now. this is ridiculous. but will still keep you posted when i receive them. please, if someone can clear any of this up for me. thanks - 4 - 8 - 08

i bought some from ebay they are red and white on the nuphedrine website they are blue are the ones i bought real? not really bothered as they do work lost 4lb in the first 2 days
