Please note, the product DietsInReview.com has reviewed is available at Nuphedrine.com. There is confusion amongst consumers about the color and packaging of the pills. In 2008, Nuphedrine changed manufacturers, and in the process updated their packaging and the color of the pills. The current Nuphedrine product is sold in a box with individual packets inside.
Nuphedrine is a highly-sought after, but highly controversial diet supplement. It contains two key ingredients which have been implicated in aiding weight loss: Advantra-Z and Hoodia. Advantra-Z is a patented form of synephrine or citrus aurantium, a similar product to the now banned ephedra. Hoodia is a cactus plant that hails from South Africa where it has long been used as an appetite suppressant for tribal men on long treks through the countryside. It has recently gained enormous popularity in the US. Nuphedrine also contains Slimaluma, a patented product that is also supposed to suppress appetite.
Nuphedrine is not supposed to cause any side effects. It does not contain any stimulants like caffeine or taurine.

INGREDIENTS
Nuphedrine contains certified, 20X South African Hoodia, Advantra-Z in the 30X potency and Slimaluma.
Here is a breakdown of the three ingredients of Nuphedrine and how they work to help you lose weight:
Advantra-Z alone is supposed to help you burn an extra 500 calories a day with its 30X "Extra Strength" concentration. Advantra-Z claims that it enhances weight loss, increases lean muscle mass, improves athletic performance and suppresses appetite.
Hoodia contains a compound called ‘P57’, which is a molecule that makes you feel full. But only pure hoodia contains this special molecule. Many studies have shown that even though a product may claim it is pure hoodia or certified hoodia, it is not the real thing. The hoodia contained in NuPhedrine is concentrated 20 times and has a standardized guaranteed 20:1 ratio rating.
The third ingredient in Nuphedrine , Slimaluma is sends signals to your brain while you’re eating telling you that you’re full. Given its effects on satiety, a little amount of food can go along way in tricking you into feeling that you’ve eaten enough to quell your appetite even though very little food has been consumed.
ADMINISTRATION
It is recommended that you take three capsules of Nuphedrine per day. Two capsules should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach or 1-2 hours after eating. The third capsule should be taken at mid-day to help get you through the evening.

There are no specific dietary or exercise recommendations while taking any Nuphedrine but the company does recommend that you follow a sensible eating and exercise plan.

I bought my girlfriend nuphedrine and she was pretty pissed when i gave it to her. But after a long fight she realized i wasn't saying she was fat so she started using it and actually liked it. mine also came in a bottle and not a box like the website had, so i'm guessing its just new packaging. anyhow, I went to GNC and bought some of the ingredients separtely and tried those. Definitely not as good. i really thought that GNC would have better stuff (quality) and was going to come back here to tell everyone to buy the ingredients separately. It's no good, because i had to buy like 4 different bottles of stuff and the cost was about $65 and the stuff doesn't even do anything. WTF, GNC is a scam.

Ok so i finally got mine in...ive been taking one a day for the last 4 days. My side effects are a little wierd...my jaw clenches, i get minor sweaty palms and i get really antsy. But not to the point that you cant handle it, you just know its working..ALSO...i do get really hungry, like starving but the sight of food disgusts me. like i wanna vomit...lol....even though i have not wieghed myself since i just started taking them i do feel a little more comfortable in my clothes which was my big problem. I feel more confident...i keep everyone posted as i lose weight, or if i dont.Good luck everyone.

I thought I was ordering NUPHEDRAGEN 1 week ago. A homemade looking receipt was sent to my e-mail. I paid for two day shipping, took 5 business days. Been trying to contact the address from my e-mail but won't go through. My Nuphedrine came in a bottle distributed by Sunrise Health. Kinda scared to open them because it was not what I wanted or ordered and it looks like these are supposed to come in a box. Am curious about what color they are supposed to be in case I get stuck with them.

Not sure if i'm burning the extra 500 calories nuphedrine claims to say it does, but i gotta say i feel different. Def not eating as much and my stomach shrank in the past few days and i feel full after a few bites. i'll be back with more later on. good day everyone

LOL, whatever man, don't apologize if you don?t mean it. I don't care. And yes, you're right about what you just wrote. But if someone takes a thermogenic and doesn't eat more calories than they need in a day, then burning an extra 500 calories a day is perfect. It?s actually suggested that burning 500 calories a day is a safe way to lose weight (from the MAYO CLINIC http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/calories/WT00011 ---- Sorry for being so critical of your comments. Thought you were here to make fun of us (overweight ppl).

I've being taking Nuphedrine for one week now, have not lost any weight as yet, I take one in the morning before my breakfast (porridge) and one before my lunch (a bagel and low fat soft cheese). During the day i don't feel that hungry, but late afternoon early evening I do begin to get hungry and have to try very hard not to nibble. Not exercising though - think I may need to include some exercise - makes sense really. I'll keep you posted with a weigh in at the end of week 2

I am replying to There is no Magic?????: I am so sorry I mis-spelled one word. I feel horrible. My point, whatever-your-name-is, was to tell people not to expect to lose weight if they would not control their calorie intake. If someone continues to eat more calories than their body needs, they will obviously not lose weight, you mustn't expect to lose weight if your eating & excercise habits aren't changed. That's all.

I always get my order in about a week so you should call their customer service to find out what happened to your order. Maybe incomplete address, and make sure your neighbors aren't stealing your mail. =)

I finally got my shipment in yesterday. I was very disappointed to find that they did not come with a certificate of authenticity like the website promised. I am also very concerned as the ingredients are not top quality like they promised, it seems the main ingredients are Folic Acid, and VItamin B which they try to hide by calling it something else, but if you do the research you will find that it's just another techincal word for Vitamin B complex. I feel like I REALLY got ripped off, and the fact that the website has such false advertisement on it, I am sending my shipment back for a full refund, and never ordering this product again. That is if they will even honor the statement that they make about the 60 day money back guarantee. For anyone thinking about ordering this product I would not waste my money, there are plently of other dietary supplements out there that are alot cheaper than this one, and do come with a certificate from the goverment stating that the pills you are buying does contain real Hoodia.

I ordered this product over a week and a half ago, I have still not recived it, and have called the customer service # to check on the status. I was told both times that they ran out of product and that it would be shipped to me sometime this week. This is exactly what I was told the last time I called. I never have a problem getting anything else I order online, so I am not sure what is going on. It seems strange to me, and I am not sure I will order this product ever again, unless it works very welll for me. I will find that out if I ever do get my shipment.

I just got my pills Sat. 12/29 had ordered them on 12/21. Sat. was my first day on them. So far, not feeling too hungry like I normally do. The only thing that I ate today was a hot dog and it is currently 7:15 pm in Texas. My pills are red and white too. I was a little skeptical of ordering them but I did anyway directly from their site and considering that I ordered right in the mix of Christmas, I got them really quick....i did the express delivery. I will keep you posted of my progress.
