Do You Know the Best Diet Pills of 2024?
If you're looking to curb your appetite, now you can take a shot. Slim Shots triggers the body's natural appetite control mechanism, also known as the ileal brake, satisfying users for long periods of time and in turn, allowing them to eat less, without sacrificing or depriving themselves of tasty foods. You can drink Slim Shots by itself or mix it with your favorite food or drink.
For the best results, you take two shots a day (20 calories each) the first week, then after that, just once during breakfast. Slim Shots is supposed to start working a couple hours after you take it. It has no stimulants, so there are no jittery side effects.
The company rightly advises that you need to do Slim Shots in conjunction with a balanced diet and exercise.
- The Slim Shots website offers clinical studies
- It doesn't act like a cure all, stating that you need to live a healthy lifestyle as well
- Convenient cups travel with you
- No side effects
- Slim Shot is not FDA approved
- There isn't a clear and concise idea of how it actually works, doesn't give specifics about how the ingredients affect change
- Each shot contains 20 calories
- Ingredient Phenylalanine (50% of aspartame), can have dangerous effects for diabetics and those with ADD/ADHD
- Should not be taken by those patients with PKU
Slim Shots contains natural oat, palm oil, artificial vanilla flavor, sweetener, aspartame (Phenylalanine) and beta carotene color.
Phenylalanine makes of 50% of aspartame, an artificial sweetner commonly used in diet products. ADD/ADHD patients and diabetics may experience negative side effects as a result of consuming this ingredient. Those with PKU, or at risk for PKU, should avoid Phenylalanine as it can cause brain damage or even death.
Unlike many other supplement websites, the Slim Shots site gives relatively in-depth nutritional advice. The exercise advice is very rudimentary: Commit to work out three times a week for 30 to 45 minutes. It also advises that you join a fitness class or devise a home workout routine that incorporates both aerobic and strength training.
The editorial tone on the Slim Shots website doesn't lead you to believe that the company is in the snake oil business. There are clinical studies posted, and good advice about how you should eat and exercise. Even though the language is not over-hyped, there still is some question as to how Slim Shots actually works.
Ultimately, it's up to the consumer to decide if it's worth, um, a shot.

I have been using slim shots for almost 1 week and have found it to be effective in curbing my appetite. I do not think about food 24/7 as I usually do. I believe it is a useful tool and if I continue to diet and exercise, I might have a shot (no pun intended!). I have about 80lbs to lose so I am hopeful that this will help me stick to a weight loss program. Good luck to everyone.

This did not work for me at all, plus I exercise. Then it may work for some, and then not for others. I have now been taking another diet supplement, that is working great for me, but Slim Shots was not it. I am happy for those, that Slim Shots have seemed to work for.

08/17/08 Started Slimshots on Monday and I am totally impressed. I'm one of those people that have tried every diet aid that's come along, last time it was Alli, now these. No comparison. These are WONDERFUL!!! I am a major snacker, constantly think about food and what my next snack/ meal is going to be. Slimshots wipe out that type of thinking completely. Yes, they do taste pretty nasty, kind of like what vanilla plastic would taste like, but so what. Hold your nose, drink the tiny bit down, take a hit of OJ or cola and it's gone I wouldn't even give the fact that they taste bad a second thought. Everything good has some kind of drawback. I also am the type that gets jittery, feel weird, nauseous, all that on other types of diet aids. Not with these. I wholeheartedly, with no reservations at all, recommend them!!

I have been on these for a week and they are very easy to use, I work a lot of doubles and waking up at 5am I am starving by 10am. Taking the shot I am not hungry until Noon or 1pm. I have noticed the difference in my diet. The taste is horrible, I usually pour it into a shot glass, top it off with milk and just shoot it. Easiest way to get it down. I have already told all my friends about this product.

I'm usually skeptical about diet gimmicks but thought slim shots sounded fairly easy to use and the ingredients were pretty basic without the weird stimulants so I thought I'd give it a try. I thought it tasted fine, I've tried it a few days and am surprised that I'm not as hungry. I felt fuller longer when I ate and didn't feel the need to snack at night which is my downfall. I am of course excercising and watching what I eat so we'll see how this goes. Will update after a few weeks.

I got these yesterday and have taken four so far. I haven't taken them alone, but mixed them in with a diet pepsi cherry vanilla jazz, as well as honey walnut cream cheese on a whole wheat mini bagel. I could taste it in both of these things, but the taste isn't any more strange than that of a slim fast or protein shake. The taste also doesn't linger past like five seconds. I wouldn't describe it as "bad", just "noticeable". I haven't felt nauseous or anything like that, and they definitely make you keep the full feeling longer. I think what they help best at is keeping you from wanting seconds, and snacking between meals. On the package it says on average people ate 12.5%-30% less (the UP TO 30% part is deceiving) and I would say that yes, I am definitely eating between 12.5%-30% less.

I stated earlier that I started the slim shots, but I after did my research on aspartame that is in slim shots as a sweetner I discarded my remaining products. Aspartame is a dangerous sweetner, it is nothing but sweet prison. Can be very harmful to your body. Goggle it for yourself before taking it again to make a decision if this is worth the risk. Good luck and God bless you. I hope each of you reach your goal in loosing the wieght. I decided to take the safe road of just praying and asking God to help me make through the day to eat right and execise. This is the safest way to go.

Just curious..do these make you feel sick, queasy, nauseated? Anything like that? I'm interested in trying them but I have that nauseaus feeling so I don't want to take something that's going to make me miserable. Thanks!

I started using this product six days ago. I have found myself to be less hungry, no real urge to pick on anything...and I have lost 3 pounds! So I am going to continue. Mind you, I am only taking one with my carnation instant breakfast in the morning. I wonder what would happen if I take TWO! My husband and I are doing this together...and we both find that our appetites have decreased substantially. Going to continue and see what happens!

To John, Shots of HcG started in the 60's they were injections made out of pregnant women's urine. Some of this medication has been proven to be potentially harmful to people who use it and some of the medication tested was found to be chemicals other than HCG. Please do not do that to yourself! I was on it for a year in the 60's and it was the reduced calorie diet that caused you to lose weight. NOT the HcG shots!
