Do You Know the Best Diet Pills of 2024?
If you're looking to curb your appetite, now you can take a shot. Slim Shots triggers the body's natural appetite control mechanism, also known as the ileal brake, satisfying users for long periods of time and in turn, allowing them to eat less, without sacrificing or depriving themselves of tasty foods. You can drink Slim Shots by itself or mix it with your favorite food or drink.
For the best results, you take two shots a day (20 calories each) the first week, then after that, just once during breakfast. Slim Shots is supposed to start working a couple hours after you take it. It has no stimulants, so there are no jittery side effects.
The company rightly advises that you need to do Slim Shots in conjunction with a balanced diet and exercise.
- The Slim Shots website offers clinical studies
- It doesn't act like a cure all, stating that you need to live a healthy lifestyle as well
- Convenient cups travel with you
- No side effects
- Slim Shot is not FDA approved
- There isn't a clear and concise idea of how it actually works, doesn't give specifics about how the ingredients affect change
- Each shot contains 20 calories
- Ingredient Phenylalanine (50% of aspartame), can have dangerous effects for diabetics and those with ADD/ADHD
- Should not be taken by those patients with PKU
Slim Shots contains natural oat, palm oil, artificial vanilla flavor, sweetener, aspartame (Phenylalanine) and beta carotene color.
Phenylalanine makes of 50% of aspartame, an artificial sweetner commonly used in diet products. ADD/ADHD patients and diabetics may experience negative side effects as a result of consuming this ingredient. Those with PKU, or at risk for PKU, should avoid Phenylalanine as it can cause brain damage or even death.
Unlike many other supplement websites, the Slim Shots site gives relatively in-depth nutritional advice. The exercise advice is very rudimentary: Commit to work out three times a week for 30 to 45 minutes. It also advises that you join a fitness class or devise a home workout routine that incorporates both aerobic and strength training.
The editorial tone on the Slim Shots website doesn't lead you to believe that the company is in the snake oil business. There are clinical studies posted, and good advice about how you should eat and exercise. Even though the language is not over-hyped, there still is some question as to how Slim Shots actually works.
Ultimately, it's up to the consumer to decide if it's worth, um, a shot.

I just saw this product on tv the other day, and I found it at Walmart today and thought what the heck. Ive been one of those peole that have tried diet pills, diet programs and really watching what I eat, but Im a stress eater and seems that I constantly am snacking later in the evening. I took this product and poured it into a cup of yogurt and ate it that way, It honestly wasnt that bad. Its now 4;30 about 5 hours from when i had first taken it and Ive drank water and I feel full. Im looking forward to see the progress throught out the week and weekend.

I was very skeptical but was astonished, after taking them for 4 or 5 days, I couldn't even finish a salad for lunch. And I am usually a power eater. Do not want dinner.

I started the slim shots 3 days ago. I find they DO cut my appetite, and I no longer crave salty snacks, such as chips. So far I am very pleased with them. Lets just see if the pounds (20) come off.

I am very pleased with them. In the last week I lost 4 pounds without changing or restricting any specific food, I just stop eating when I'm full which is much faster than without them. Even my husband noticed I haven't been eating as much and he doesn't know that I have been taking them. I think of food much less often also and the sugar cravings have all but disappeared. Yesterday I had a couple cookies and usually I would need to finish the entire package but I was satisfied with the 2. I like the naturalness of them also. The flavor when you first take them is good, but the after taste is getting worse with each one, I have something right there to eat or drink after each one. No side affects and much cheaper and easier to live with than the nasty diet program foods I've tried. I am going to stick with them.

I have been using them for 5 days and I can safely say that I am NOT hungry at night. No munchies, no grazing, no interest in anything but liquids! So - Yes, it works. Is is psychological? Maybe. But who cares?? For the first time since those appetite suppressant drugs went off the market I am able to control my eating. And yes, I could make them myself but they're easy to swallow, easy to carry. They taste a bit like half and half. I am extremely pleased!!

I have no idea if they work because I have not been able to get past the taste. I think the taste is horrible.

Been taking Slim Shots for three days now and I am definitely eating less. I still have to think about what I put in my mouth but they seem to help me with that last extra bit of willpower. Plus... I don't feel weird at all. I'm pleased.

More than a comment, I have a question... Does anyone knwos what happens after you stop taking the shots? Because sometimes you gain all the weight back and sometimes even more?

Syd, yes, I've tried them during different times of the day. I'm not a morning eater anyway, so many times I don't take the breakfast shot. I'll take one around 11 a.m. and then one around 3 or 4. They work fine. But still only take two a day. There's nothing in them to make you jittery or not able to sleep, so I'm sure they are fine whenever you need them.

I snack at night 8PM and later. That's what hurts my diet. Has anyone tried taking these later in the day to avoid the late night munchies?

I am just starting the slim shots diet, but I find the comments encouraging. I am also glad that this product is available at the local pharmacies, not just online. I will post back with my success story (hopefully).

I don't have much weight to lose, but I needed to get my snacking under control. I noticed a difference from the first shot I took. I really do feel full for most of the day. And, yeah, I could go buy all the oils myself and save money. But these are convenient to carry and I don't have to measure. So far, they are doing for me what was promised.

I bought some of these off of ebay. I will try anything to drop a pound or two.. nothing ever works tho!! I am not overweight but i do wanna drop a few pounds. I tried these and honestly they suck just like everything else i have tried in the past. I had to take 2 at once and I felt full for a good 5 minutes. Other than that my stomach still growled as usual..

Actually, even though palm oil and coconut oils are saturated fats, they actually do not cause the harm in your arteries that most saturated fats cause. They are medium chain tryglicerides which causes the weight loss and fullness.

actually Tracie, the ones at walmart are only 21 count for $24.99 and CVS has a 30 count for $29.99 if you have their card and that is free. So, far they are pretty decent I think and I have a fair amount of weight to loose and so I am taking one in the morning and one about 2pm for those afternoon times you think u need to be eating a snack.
