Jillian Michaels' knowledge of fitness training stems from years of martial arts and intense personal training. Best known as a former trainer and coach on NBC's hit TV show The Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels was an amazing motivator, personal trainer and guide to nearly 15 million Biggest Loser viewers every week. Before she was a massive television star, Jillian struggled to maintain her own healthy weight. She knows firsthand the trials and commitment it requires to lose weight and keep it off. Now she's set her sights on helping you reach your goals!
Jillian is currently a co-host on the popular TV show The Doctors. Jillian loves the idea of being able to empower people with information and support to help them live their healthiest lives. Being a co-host on the show allows Jillian a platform to educate people on how to make health choices that will enable them to take control of their physical well being. Jillian is also working as a special health and wellness correspondent for the Dr. Phil show.
Jillian has created her own wellness media empire, and has written several books about weight loss and fitness, has a self-named Wii game, a self-named meal delivery program, an online diet program, a weekly radio show, a fitness DVD and is a contributor to Redbook Magazine and Cosmo Girl.
Here's a snapshot of Jillian's programs:

Jillian Michaels will keep you on the course of success with online diet support, unique weight loss tools, meal plans, and motivation to get the weight off and keep it off. The cost is about $4/week.
Jillian Michaels: Making the Cut: This mega popular book is a 30-day body-makeover guide that assesses your metabolism and guides you to eat appropriately for your specific metabolic type so that your body is using that energy and burning effectively. Making the Cut also contains self-empowerment tips and suggestions to overcome negative thinking and poor self-confidence.
Jillian Michaels: 30-Day Shred: Jillian’s popular workout DVD is designed to help you drop those last 10-20 pounds in just 30 days. There are three, 20-minute progressive workouts that become more challenging as you work through the program. Each session includes Cardio, Strength Training and Ab Training in a circuit-style routine.
Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009: This Wii game allows you to create your own character and then follow along with Jillian's signature intense bootcamp-style workouts as her voice encourages you to exercise harder and use proper form. Fitness Ultimatum also has an updated 2010 version with more bootcamp-style workouts.
Jillian Michaels Master Your Metabolism: Michaels gives you a three-step program to repair the damage that years of fat-free foods, artificial sweeteners, diet sodas and processed weight loss foods have done to your hormones and consequently, your metabolism.
Jillian Michaels Detox and Cleanse: A weight loss supplement that promises to help you reduce belly bloat, get rid of harmful toxins and improves your digestion without the use of harsh laxatives or chemicals.
Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown: This DVD combines Jillian's famous fat-blasting moves with challenging yoga postures to give you a sleek and toned body.

Jillian's lengthy resume proves she has the knowledge and experience to guide you on your weight loss journey.
Jillian Michaels (born 18 February, 1974) is a fitness expert who gained prominence as a trainer on the NBC weight-loss reality series ''The Biggest Loser'' (USA). Michaels was the trainer for the red team until 2006, when she was replaced by Kim Lyons. She returned in 2007 as the black team coach, competing against Kim's red team and Bob Harper's blue team. Kim decided not to return for the spring 2008 season, leaving Jillian as the only female trainer. Along with Bob Harper, Jillian is also a trainer in the Australian version of the show. She began her career in exercise because she was considerably overweight before her teenage years (though not as much as the contestants she whips into shape now). As a young adult, her mother enrolled her in a martial arts class, which was a new beginning for Jillian. Thereafter she dedicated herself to helping the overweight transform their lives and their bodies for the better.

I'm a member of Jillian's website have been for 9 months. Prior to that, I followed Jillian's recommendations via her email newsletter and a body consultation. In total, with Jillian, I've lost 83 lbs. Add to that the fact that I am 60 yrs. old. I'd call her plan a success and would recommend that others try it.

Jillian Michaels knows her stuff. I love her book "Making the Cut" and her website. She is the real deal and offers a true and realistic view on fitness. I think she is quite an inspiration. And, of course, she is incredibly beautiful- but that is beside the point.

I think they should do a season for people that are already healthy, but get them into the greatest shape of their lives. Or help them become trainers. I would watch this religiously.

I watch the show and am glad Jillian isn't on it as much. The harsh tone she uses, I heard is a big act just like Chef Ramsey uses on his cooks. The writers make her act like that, saying stuff like I am going to break your fingers if you don't do this exercise.
I know it's all a put on, but I do still watch it, just to see how people look in the end.
