When the 17 Day Diet debuted in 2020, it became an instant favorite, spending more than 75 weeks at the top of the New York Times best sellers list. When the Breakthrough Edition released in January 2020, it was massively popular. So popular, you chose the 17 Day Diet as the Most Popular Diet of 2020! With that kind of track record, we won’t be surprised when the latest update to the program, Body Breakthrough, becomes a chart topper as well.
Body Breakthrough is the brand-new, comprehensive digital diet program that takes what you already know about the 17 Day Diet and puts it (literally) in the palm of your hand.
The basis of the program is the same as the original. There are four 17-day cycles of the diet program. The first three are designed to help you develop healthy habits and lose weight. The fourth cycle is considered the maintenance phase, and is designed for those who have reached their weight loss goals.
The book that spent more than 75 weeks on the New York Times best sellers list, after debuting at number one, will return this January with an all new approach to help you lose and manage your weight. It’s the 17 Day Diet Breakthrough Edition, updated by author Dr. Mike Moreno, and if history repeats itself, it’s going to be the most talked about, and most followed, diet in 2020.
Everything that worked for 17 Day dieters in the past can be found in the new release by Simon & Schuster, with updates that will provide even more success for new adopters and loyal success stories. Within the new 17 Day DietBreakthrough Edition, readers will enjoy 50 new recipes that meet the weight loss plan’s guidelines. As well, they’ll adopt a fasting day, which Dr. Mike suggests can help power-boost your weight loss. (more…)
The second most popular diet of 2020 was 17 Day Diet, and the brand continues to make headlines in the new year. Since its debut in 2020, the book has grown in to a brand where you can apply Dr. Mike Moreno’s 17 Day principles to weight loss, cooking, and even slowing the effects of aging. This month, get some insight on his 17 Day Diet Plan to Stop Aging in Men’s Health Magazine.
Dr. Mike makes an appearance in the magazine’s January issue to talk about the book, but also set you up for your healthiest year yet.
Here are some of Dr. Moreno’s recommendations for prolonging the signs of aging.
1. Keep your heart healthy with exercise: As we age our hearts becomes more effective. In order for our hearts to become stronger with age, we have to do aerobic workouts. Walking, jogging, and running are just a few suggestions. Dr. Mike mentions that with the help of exercise and a healthy diet, “an older person can have the heart of a very young person.” (more…)
Join The Doctors on November 26 as they speak with Dr. Mike Moreno about the secrets of living a longer and healthier life. Moreno is the author of the popular 17 Day Diet and the more recent book, The 17 Day Plan to Stop Aging, released September 2020.
The Doctors seek to solve the puzzle of living longer, healthier, and happier through simple yet effective practices. In that pursuit they, along with Moreno’s help, present 17 ways to look and feel younger.
Two surprising tips shared in this episode include taking cold showers for health and following the old adage ‘forgive and forget.’
Cold showers help improve blood circulation and keep skin and hair healthy, as well as help to reduce stress and invigorate the senses. Forgiving others and not focusing on past hurts are two practices that have been proven to help lower one’s blood pressure and heart rate.
Moreno’s plan to stop aging follows the same prescription as his 17 Day Diet book, relying on four 17 day cycles to jump start a plan to reverse the effects of aging. The cycles aim to restore, rebuild, refine and renew. His bestselling diet is based on the practice of metabolic confusion where the body is not allowed to settle into a routine and therefore plateau. His plan to stop aging, on the other hand, is a guide to incorporate more good practices into one’s life in order to live as healthfully as possible. (more…)

Also in that episode, DietsInReview.com’s most popular diets of 2020 list was featured, with 17 Day Diet at the top. See a clip from the episode now:
Make room on your kitchen shelves because today a new cookbook releases. The long anticipated follow-up to The 17 Day Diet is available online and in stores today, and you can be cooking healthier, diet-friendly meals by dinner time. The 17 Day Diet Cookbook, authored by Dr. Mike Moreno, provides 80 meals that align with cycles one, two, and three of the like-named diet. It’s the low-calorie icing on an explosive publishing year that also produced a version of The 17 Day Diet in Spanish and a 17 Day Diet Workbook, as well as a reprint of the original self-published title under its new publisher, Free Press. On top of all of that, 17 Day Diet was the most popular diet of 2020 here at DietsInReview.com.
“This cookbook was meticulously done in terms of nutrition,” Dr. Mike told us in a recent interview. He seemed impressed by the number of followers who had gone out and created recipes for the weight loss plan, but says this book will keep them from “sabotaging” the nutritional principles in the book. He knows that after a while the same old rotation of recipes can be a drag, and he’s excited to share with his legions of 17 Day followers some inspired new ways to stick to the plan and eat food that’s bold, interesting, and simple. We’re barely through the first quarter of the year and 17 Day Diet is leading the charge as the year’s most popular diet. Released in November as a self-published title by Dr. Mike Moreno, he quickly got the attention of Dr. Phil and The Doctors. The 17 Day Diet has become the most sought-after weight loss plan for the new year. So popular in fact that Moreno’s self-publish supply couldn’t meet the 17 Day Diet book demand of customers.
Moreno will not stop self-publishing on Friday, March 4, 2020 and has turned rights for the book over to publishing giant Simon and Schuster. Previously the book was only available through the book’s site, but starting March 15, 2020, anxious customers can make a simple purchase on Amazon and other booksellers. (more…)

Since The 17 Day Diet first debuted in late November 2020 people everywhere have been clamoring to find out more about it and how to get their hands on it. We see a lot of diet programs at DietsInReview.com, obviously, and we can honestly say we haven’t seen demand like this for a weight loss product in a very long time. It’s become the hottest diet of 2020, and we’re barely a week in.
While the plan seems balanced and reasonable, as long as people are willing to make changes to their lifestyles, the one downside is that it seems to be impossible to get. We’re moderating comments as fast as we can and all seem to say the same thing: “how do I get it” or “where is mine?”.
The 17 Day Diet is quickly becoming a lesson in supply and demand. The demand for this book is overwhelming, and exceeding expectations, and because of that, the supply can’t keep up.
For those of you who’ve ordered a copy and haven’t received it yet, Dr. Mike asks that you let them know. He said as of 12/20/10, all orders had been shipped, and that the delay is because they just didn’t expect the sizable response that they received. (more…)
