I know I shouldn’t be more inclined to try a workout routine or class or gym based on which celebrities endorse it, but I can’t help myself—I’m attracted to places know my favorite actors and actresses also enjoy. Spin classes are a Hollywood haven for A-list actresses? Sign me up! The High School Musical cast loves Pilates? Awesome—see you on the Reformer! Crunch has a catchy name and I might run into Leonardo DiCaprio?! I. Am. In.
Let’s discuss three of the hottest workout spots for some well-known names and faces, shall we? Maybe I’ll see you there!
WundaBar is a Hollywood Pilates studio, and we all know how celebrities love their Pilates. (Well, who doesn’t?) The recently engaged Ashley Tisdale was introduced to WundaBar through Vanessa Hudgens, her High School Musical co-star. (I love when co-stars remain friends, especially through workout routines!) Tisdale reportedly works with a personal trainer most of the time, but also has lessons with WundaBar’s Amy Jordan, the founder of the gym. (more…)
Whenever a skinny celebrity speaks out about the diet she’s following everyone seems to listen, especially when she’s a former Spice Girl. Singer, wife of famed soccer player David Beckham, and fashion designer Victoria Beckham sent shock waves through the diet world years ago when she was seen toting around the diet book “Skinny Bitch.“ Not long after it became a bestseller. Coincidence? We think not.
These days she’s at it again, peddling another diet trend that’s bound to blow up in a matter of seconds, especially considering other stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Kirsten Dunst are on board, too.
As reported by Health, notoriously thin Beckham has recently been crediting her lean figure to the alkaline diet, which is more of a theory than a diet model in itself. The diet is all about keeping our body’s pH levels in balance through the foods we eat and perhaps more importantly, the foods we avoid.
Though research on the alkaline diet is limited, it’s based on the theory that because our blood is slightly alkaline – a normal pH level rage is between 7.35 and 7.45 – our diet should help promote and maintain that. (more…)

Summer blockbusters are always entertaining, the chilled theaters offering a reprieve from the scorching heat. These sizzling flicks are also a great time to get some inspiration for the gym. There are some incredible summer movies coming out over the next few months, with equally incredible hotties we look forward to seeing on the big screen!
If Oscar gave trophies for best big screen bods, the academy would have to choose between these actors and actresses!
1. Zac Efron
Efron’s film Neighbors has already been released, but is definitely being considered a summer hit. Playing a college kid living next door to a married couple with a baby, Efron is, well, clearly hitting the campus gym on a very regular basis. Follow his steps. Definitely an inspiration.
2. Cameron Diaz
Starring in Sex Tape, Cameron Diaz plays Jason Segel’s really hot wife. Now, Diaz has always had a pretty spectacular body, but starring in a movie revolving around being scantily — or not at all — clad is a pretty big deal. Diaz looks hotter than ever, and the movie looks hilarious. How does she do it? Read about it her new release The Body Book. (more…)
Jennifer Aniston was named the Sexiest Woman Alive in 2020 and she has been known for hitting the red carpet in great shape. She is currently promoting her latest movie Wanderlust with co-star Paul Rudd that will be in theaters February 24th. While promoting the movie, Aniston speaks openly about her current diet and exercise habits.
“I work out almost every day, at least five or six days per week,” she admits. “I do 40 minutes of cardio: spinning, running, the elliptical, or a combination of all three. Then I do Pilates one day a week, and I do yoga in addition to that, three days a week. I try to mix it up.” Being a busy actress, Jennifer also makes sure she’s prepared to get her workouts in when she’s on the road traveling. “I take eight pound weights with me whenever I’m staying at a hotel. It’s always good to do arm exercises when you’re watching television or talking on the phone. I also love to stretch before bed, and usually throw in a couple of sit-ups,” Aniston said.
Jennifer Aniston, known for her flawless skin and yoga-sculpted body, was voted best workout buddy and health inspiration.
In a survey at Fitness Magazine, the actress trumped Halle Berry, Reese Witherspoon, Sofia Bergara, Cameron Diaz and Blake Lively, but she wasn’t the only celebrity who placed Britney Spears as Best Career Makeover, and Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge for the Best Celeb Wardrobe.
Aniston was recognized for her ability to inspire people to work out, which is not surprising to those familiar with her diet, beauty and body routine. Aniston, who has been linked to The Zone Diet and Yogalosophy works out with Mandy Ingber. The Stir has reported that when Aniston is shooting a movie, she wakes up at dawn to work out for two hours per day, which includes yoga and time on the elliptical trainer or treadmill. (more…)
It has been revealed that Victoria Beckham has decided to lose her baby weight by adopting the practices of Yogalosophy. Beckham is determined to be a size eight by New York Fashion Week starting September 8th and has already started exercising at home just over a month after giving birth to baby girl Harper Seven.
Yogalosophy is a hybrid yoga program that combines toning exercises with yoga asanas, or postures, which gives you a sleek, toned look all over your body as well as a calm mind. Mandy Ingber, celebrity trainer and the woman responsible for Jennifer Aniston‘s flawless body, created Yogalosophy. Aniston has often talked about her dedication to a healthy lifestyle and has been working with Ingber for over ten years.
The good news for non-A-listers out there is that Ingber’s unique style of yoga is available on DVD for at-home use. The DVD provides instructions on how to perform each move and lose weight by following along with each challenging routine. The routines in the DVD consist of two 30-minute and one 55-minute workout. The program also gives advice to viewers on how to achieve inner peace and calm in addition to giving a great workout. Ingber is there every step of the way with encouraging words of wisdom both on the DVD and on her website which is updated frequently with “intentions of the month.”
Superstar Jennifer Aniston is showing a lot of skin in her latest Smart Water ad campaign. The blue Smart Water logo may be the only color in this image, but that doesn’t distract from Aniston’s toned body. She seems to always look great, but how does she do it? At the end of the day, her healthy lifestyle is pretty simple, and consists of things that anyone can do.
Aniston believes in what she’s promoting. “I drink 100 ounces of Smart Water every day,” she says. That’s about 12.5 cups of water per day. Getting plenty of water not only helps you stay hydrated while working out, it can also help you feel full when you drink enough with a meal.
Beauty sleep is a real thing! “I always try to sleep for at least eight hours a night,” says Aniston. Not getting enough rest at night can stress your body and trigger feelings of hunger, which is not good for staying slim.

Whether it’s her current love interest, her famous ex-husband or her once trademark haircut, Jennifer Aniston always garners attention, but when it comes to her body, it seems as if the paparazzi light bulbs won’t stop flashing. With one of the most enviable physiques in Hollywood, Aniston always seems to perfectly rock a red string bikini or a pair of tight jeans.
While some actresses stay mum when it comes to their fitness and diet secrets, Aniston has been very vocal about her devotion to fitness and yoga instructor, Mandy Ingber and her hybrid style of yoga, Yogalosophy. In fact, Aniston credits Ingber and her amazing mind, body and spiritual yoga routines for transforming not just her already amazing body, but also her ability to see the world from a place of calm and lightheartedness.
“Mandy brought yoga into my life. I’m excited for you to get to experience her, too,” Aniston reported to Self magazine. “This workout will change your body and your mind. This is one of the most fun, challenging workouts I’ve ever had.”
So just exactly what is Yogalosophy? (more…)
How do celebrities stay looking so great all the time? Part of it is genetics, but part of it is just staying dedicated to healthy eating and regular workouts. Here are some great tips on losing weight from your favorite celebrities.
“I do some cardio for at least 20 minutes a day,” says Aniston. “Even that short burst makes a difference.” She also says that white peaches are her favorite healthy snack.
J-Lo does an occasional cleanse. “I don’t recommend it all the time,” she says. “But if you do a balanced one…you can lose some poundage fast.”
Mandy Ingber is a personal trainer, fitness and wellness adviser, and possibly one of the best yoga and spinning teachers in Los Angeles. For more than 15 years, Mandy has been helping people become healthier and happier with their bodies and themselves.
“Having the body you want begins with loving the body you have,” Mandy tells her students on a regular basis. This philosophy and idea of accepting yourself as you are helps students love themselves while making physical improvements in their bodies.
Mandy has created a yoga-hybrid workout called Yogalosophy, a “motivational hybrid technique [that] revolves around cycles of change.” Yogalosophy combines constant motion (spinning) with stillness and strengthening (yoga) to challenge your body into becoming it’s best. Many celebrities have come to Mandy for help getting themselves into better physical form. Some of her followers include Jennifer Aniston, Ricki Lake, Brooke Shields, and Helen Hunt.
