What is it?

MicroLactin is a brand new dietary supplement that is indicated to help provide relief from the joint pain and stiffness due to inflammation. Their advertising says that it is also effective for improving mobility and overall joint functionality. Their product comes in both tablet and powdered drink mix form and may possibly begin showing results in as little as two weeks.

Our panel of experienced nutrition and wellness experts currently rank Flexitrinol as their top recommended joint health supplement. Its proprietary list of ingredients works to not only address the symptoms of joint pain but to actually stimulate the body’s natural joint repair and renewal functions. MicroLactin Ingredients and Side Effects

MicroLactin has a highly unique ingredient list. It does not have the glucosamine or chondroitin that most joint health supplements use these days, instead it relies on just one active ingredient:

MicroLactin

MicroLactin: A nutritional supplement derived from cow’s milk. MicroLactin is a combination of concentrated micronutrients that is high in protein, calcium, and Immunoglobin G (IgG).

According to their website, MicroLactin has shown that it is better than a placebo at improving joint function. A recent study shows that MicroLactin works by blocking the spread of Leukocytes – one of the agents that cause inflammation.

Given its animal source MicroLactin is not considered vegan friendly, however it is 90% lactose free so it is mostly safe for individuals with lactose sensitivities.

There is very little objective data about MicroLactin available. The only clinical studies about their effects have been performed by the manufacturers, and there is no information available about the effects of long-term daily consumption.

Given the lack of scientific evidence about the effects of MicroLactin on the human body, all of the evidence regarding short-term side effects is anecdotal in nature. In the few customer reviews that can be found on independent sellers websites, users mention that MicroLactin may potentially have contributed to them experiencing:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Gastric pain
  • Bloating
  • Lactic flatulence
  • Diarrhea

There are no other active ingredients in MicroLactin, though there are several inactive ingredients. Users that have specific food allergies or that are taking prescription medications should consult with a healthcare professional before they begin regularly consuming MicroLactin. Women that are pregnant or nursing should not consume MicroLactin.

MicroLactin Quality of Ingredients

Despite the brand new nature of MicroLactin, there are still a few things that we can conclude about its effectiveness for improving joint functionality.

The way their website says MicroLactin functions is by blocking Leukocytes. Leukocytes are a part of our white blood cells that helps them attack the foreign substances that our body deems as harmful. The problem with leukocytes is that they can become over-aggressive and begin attacking the body itself. Inflammation is often an immune response to excessive leukocyte activity, especially in individuals with certain conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.

If MicroLactin’s initial studies are correct then it may be an effective anti-inflammatory agent for some individuals, especially those with specific autoimmune related conditions.

Even if that is the case, however, MicroLactin does not provide anything in the way of actual joint support. It does nothing to stimulate collagen production, strengthen cartilage, improve synovial fluid health, or address any other of the other core issues that can lead to having healthy joints that don’t get inflamed in the first place.

MicroLactin does contain some amount of protein and calcium, which is helpful for skeletal and muscular health, however more than anything, MicroLactin treats symptoms more than it does their underlying causes. This may be helpful for some users that are dealing with specific forms of inflammation, but for people looking to counteract the joint damage of age, exercise, or repetitive motion stress MicroLactin might not offer all of the core level support that they need.

The Price and Quality of MicroLactin

MicroLactin is sold through their website, and it retails generally in this range:

  • 1 120-count bottle of MicroLactin tablets: $23.49

MicroLactin is labeled for four doses a day, which mean each bottle is approximately a one-month supply. This makes it one of the more affordable joint health supplements on the market. This lower cost makes it easier to pair MicroLactin with a secondary supplement, preferably one that provides more joint-specific support.

Customer Opinions of MicroLactin

Customer opinions of MicroLactin are somewhat mixed. It has a group of enthusiasts that claim it is effective, and there is another group of people that seem to believe it is a hoax. Online reviews were often similar to these:

“I was excited to try MicroLactin because of the claims in their ads, but three weeks later I’m still waiting to see results.

“My knees are just as sore as ever and I’m starting to think this product is never going to show any results.”

“I bought these for my mom to help with her arthritis, but when I just talked to her she said that she’d thrown them out because they didn’t work. Thanks MicroLactin for wasting my mom’s time and my money.”

The most frequent complaint was that the product didn’t work, however there were also many reports of shipping and customer service issues. Quite a few customers were upset about how long it took to get their order or complained about fraudulent and erroneous charges, and there were also a number of individuals frustrated with the overly large size of the pills themselves.

Conclusion – Does MicroLactin Work?

After reviewing the limited clinical data that’s available about MicroLactin, reading the customer experiences that have been posted online, and performing our own trials, our panel of experts have concluded that MicroLactin is potentially effective as a mild pain reliever and anti-inflammatory agent for some specific types of joint and tissue inflammation.

They remain unconvinced that MicroLactin is an effective joint health supplement on its own and do no recommend users count on it for providing core-level support. MicroLactin does not affect any of the tissue building and repair processes that a quality joint wellness product generally aids. Nothing about MicroLactin’s formula is designed to improve collagen production, cartilage health, synovial fluid levels, or any of the other factors that prevent inflammation in the first place.

If users wish to try MicroLactin it seems that it would be most effective if paired with a traditional glucosamine and chondroitin supplement. MicroLactin’s lower price point makes this a more feasible option than many of the other higher-end supplements.

Those individuals dealing with extreme cases of inflammation may also see positive results by pairing it with more common TNF-inhibiting anti-inflammatory agents like MSM or boron. That would provide two separate ways of attacking the body’s inflammatory response mechanisms, which may help provide relief for those dealing with conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, tendonitis, and bursitis.

Lastly our panel of nutrition experts always caution users about experimenting with brand-new supplements that don’t have a history of testing behind them. Until there are long-term studies into the effects of prolonged exposure to a chemical it is impossible to say just how safe and effective it may be.

The promises that a new supplement offers in their advertising can be exciting, but in the rush to find relief many patients end up either throwing their money away or exposing themselves to products that have negative health consequences down the road. There is no indication that MicroLactin will be hazardous to users in the future, however it would be irresponsible of us not to at least mention the possibility with any equally untested product.

I have used microlactin for pain related to repetitive movements and it works. I have nothing negative to say about it. Found this site because I am trying to determine if it can be baked into dog treats.
Most recently I used microlactin on a goat who could walk or even stand. The results were amazing.
