Zen Night is dietary supplement and sleep aid that is designed to help you fall asleep quickly and stay asleep throughout the night. The product is all-natural, and states that you will not suffer any sort of grogginess or hangover like effects as a result of using it.

The product is sold in bottles containing 30 capsules, and directs the user to take one capsule about 30 minutes before bedtime each night. Therefore, each bottle should last approximately one month.

Right now, the best sleep aid on the market is Fenotrex. This determination was made by a group of review experts who evaluated hundreds of sleep supplements and noted that the consumer reaction to Fenotrex was more positive than any of the competitors, and it features a potent, reliable formula that is safe for users. Zen Night Ingredients and Side Effects

The website for the product provides a full list of all the ingredients that are included within the product, along with a brief explanation of the function of each of the main ingredients within the formula. Furthermore, the site provides a look at the supplement facts label, that includes the specific dosages of each ingredient used within the product, so users can be fully informed as to what they are putting into their bodies and the possible effects it may have.

Here is a list of all the ingredients that are included in the Zen Night:

Vitamin B6 GABA L-Tryptophan Lemon Balm 5-HTP
Valerian Extract Passion Flower Extract Chamomile Extract Hops Flower Powder Melatonin

L-Tryptophan: Amino acid the can be found in many plant and animal proteins, and it must be acquired by food. It has a variety of uses, including insomnia, sleep apnea, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. It is also thought by some to increase athletic performance. After entering the body, it is eventually converted in serotonin which can improve mood.

5-HTP: Extracted from an African plant named Griffonia simplicifolia, it is used primarily for treating sleep disorders like insomnia, as well as anxiety, depression, obesity, ADHD, seizures, and migraines. The ingredient works by increasing the production of serotonin in the brain and nervous system, which can have a profound effect upon sleep, mood, and sexual behavior. Unfortunately, there are some potential side effects that are associated with taking the ingredient, including:

  • Heartburn, stomach pain, nausea, and sexual problems

Lemon Balm: An herb from the mint family, it is used to make medicine. It can be used for treating digestive issue, bloating, flatulence, and an upset stomach. Additionally, it has a calming effect, so it is included in many sleep aids for its ability to reduce anxiety, restlessness, and stress. It is also used to prevent and combat Alzheimer’s disease. The balm contains a chemical that acts as a sedative, which make it affective in sleep aids.

EDITOR’S TIP: Combine this supplement with a proven sleep aid such as Fenotrex for better results.

Zen Night Quality of Ingredients

There are multiple quality ingredients that are used in Zen Night, including valerian root, melatonin, GABA, and more, but the dosages seem to be all over the place, which can lead to inconsistent results in the user. It also includes 5-HTP, which has been shown to be effective in treating sleep, but has the potential to create negative side effects within the user.

In general, the product should be effective in getting users to sleep, but the strength with which it uses certain ingredients could lead to potential grogginess or hangover type symptoms the following morning.

The Price and Quality of Zen Night

One bottle of the product costs $44.95, plus shipping and handling, for what is essentially a month’s supply. They also offer a bundle deal, that lowers the price per bottle, if the consumer commits to purchasing multiple bottles at once, as well as an auto-renewal deal that lowers the price per bottle but charges the consumer automatically each month.

$44.95 is a very expensive price to pay for a monthly supply of a sleep supplement, particularly considering the lukewarm response it has garnered from consumers. It uses some quality ingredients, but those same ingredients are available in other, more affordable sleep aids. The manufacturer does offer a 90-day money back guarantee however, so if it is found to be ineffective it won’t just be a sunk cost.

Customer Opinions of Zen Night

Zen Night is sold through both the manufacturer’s website as well as through other online vendors such as Amazon, making objective reviews easy to locate online. For the most part, the product has received negative reviews, with even those who state that it got them to sleep saying that they did not like how the product made them feel.

Here are some of the consumer reviews that we could locate online:

“It took hours for me to fall asleep after taking these, perhaps because I’m used to stronger sleeping aids. Waste of money.”

“This stuff put me to sleep but I hated how it made me feel, really groggy, and foggy. Not able to think straight.”

“Didn’t help me much. The advertisements oversell its usefulness. Once it runs out I’m going to but something else.”

Conclusion – Does Zen Night Work?

There are several quality ingredients that are contained within Zen Night, and many of them are used in strong dosages. That said, we are wary of the use of 5-HTP and the side effects it can create. The price of the product is also more expensive than most sleep aids, many of which use a lot of the same ingredients, in similar dosages.

What concerns us the most though, were the poor consumer reviews that the product has received. It seems that the product was either ineffective, or created uncomfortable side effects in users, some of which stated that they simply didn’t like the way the product made them feel. This suggests that there is something off about the blend of ingredients and the dosages with which they are used. We would recommend looking for a cheaper sleep aid that has produced more consistently positive results for consumers.

Fenotrex is currently the top ranked sleep aid available on the market according to a group of review experts that were tasked with evaluating the hundreds of sleep aids on the market, and found that Fenotrex featured the most positive consumer reviews and the most consistent formula. It can potentially help users to fall asleep faster, sleep more peacefully, and have more energy during the day.

All of the active ingredients that make up Fenotrex have been tested by third-party individuals who found them to be both safe and potent. The product is also produced in a GMP-certified facility. One Response to NEW Zen Night Review

Elsie Medin says:

I’ve been taking Zen Night for about three months. It takes me about an hour and a half to feel sleepy but if works for 6 to 9 hrs of sleep. Everu once in a while it won’t work at all and I skip it for the next night or two. It starts working again. The pills odor is incredibly offensive. It is sold as non addictive yet today on one of its websites I read that taking it for a long time MAY unable you to sleep without it and if discontinued MAY even not let you sleep at all
To me this is a perfect habit forming description so as soon as I use or return the two bottles I have left , I’d out. This information should appear in a more prominent place in the men’s desc.
