Dior Prestige Eye Cream is a high-end eye cream made by famed fashion house, Christian Dior. The product aims to firm the skin under the eye, reduce puffiness and dark circles –as well as give the eye a wider-looking opening.
Dior Prestige Eye Cream gets its power from the Rose de Granville, a rose that according the the official website, was developed exclusively for skin care. In addition to this unique botanical workhorse, the makers of the product claim its dual-pearl application process helps smooth away wrinkles and create a youthful, awake glow.
Kremovage is the most effective tool in staving off unwanted signs of aging from crow’s feet to dull skin and deep wrinkles. With a blend of potent plants, peptides, oils and more, this product has it all. Click here for a closer look at the key benefits you’ll get from Kremovage.
Dior Prestige Eye Cream Ingredients and Side Effects
Unfortunately, the makers of this product have failed to disclose the key ingredients used to make this product, with the exception of the Rose de Granville, which we’ll discuss below. We found the full list printed elsewhere, but never have seen an image of the actual label—so while we hope this is accurate, one can’t be too sure.
Rose de Granville |
Sunflower Seed Oil |
Hyaluronic Acid |
Coconut Oil |
Jojoba Oil |
Shea Butter |
Rose de Granville: A rose patented by Dior, this ingredient is cultivated for its unique antiaging abilities—it’s thought to smooth out wrinkles and firm sagging skin.
Sunflower Seed Oil: Sunflower oil is rich in vitamin E and is used to protect and treat dry, damaged cells. Sunflower oil may give skin a natural glow, moisturizing, while repairing existing damage.
Hyaluronic Acid: This substance is used to keep cells hydrated, providing moisture and helping the skin stay plump.
Coconut Oil: An effective natural moisturizer, coconut oil is used to hydrate dry, cracked skin.
Jojoba Oil: Jojoba oil is a highly absorbent, non-comedogenic oil that works much like our skin’s sebum—moisturizing the skin when our body stops performing this function on its own.
Shea Butter: Shea butter works to treat itching, wrinkles, wounds, blemishes and more. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory and rich in fatty acids.

Dior Prestige Eye Cream Quality of Ingredients
Dior Prestige Eye Cream bases the bulk of its formula on this rose, the Rose de Granville, which the official Dior site describes in luxuriant detail.
While Dior cites studies conducted on women who have tried this product, there’s no information available outside of the official website backing the claims made about this ingredient. Dior owns the garden used to product this rose and all rights to use it—meaning, it hasn’t been researched by any known third-party.
All that said, this product feels like its missing some key components. There are no retinols included, nor any type of peptide blend, vitamin complex and so on. This cream is likely very soothing and hydrating, and it features a strong rose scent, which could be a pro or a con depending on personal preference.
We do believe this product contains some good ingredients—shea butter, jojoba and sunflower oil, as well as hyaluronic acid, all work to nourish the skin, naturally—and may even stave off certain signs of aging—keeping dry, damaged cells hydrated, plump and supple.
In the end a lot of the claims put forth by Dior sound like flowery (literally) language designed to market eye cream to people with extra cash to spend. Aside from this reportedly unique rose, there’s nothing included in this formula you can’t find for less—and in many cases, paired with more potent anti-aging agents.

The Price and Quality of Dior Prestige Eye Cream
Dior Prestige Eye Cream is sold for a whopping $215 on the official Dior website. For this amount, users receive a standard 0.5-ounce jar of product, that comes with a pearl applicator—which reportedly works to stimulate blood flow and smooth wrinkles with use.
Shoppers may also purchase this product from places like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and Jet. The department stores all offer the product for the same $215 price point as Dior. Jet offers the product at a discount—a steep $194.
Based on our look at the ingredients, it seems the brand recognition, paired with the exclusive rose-based formula is the reason behind the incredibly expensive eye cream. We’re not sure that we see the value in shelling out over $200 for an eye cream that doesn’t even contain the full spectrum of anti-aging ingredients, but it may be a different story for the customer who can afford a luxury eye product.
It may be worth pointing out, Dior offers a $185 refill and complimentary trial size containers of the product for loyal customers. It’s still at the highest end of the skin care spectrum, but it may soften the blow for regular buyers.
For those who just can’t swing it, there are plenty of lower-priced quality alternatives to Dior Prestige Eye Cream.

Business of Dior Prestige Eye Cream
Dior Prestige Eye Cream was created by the fashion design house, Christian Dior. Here is a bit about the company, as well as how you might get in touch with a representative:
Phone: 877-903-4671
While Dior is likely best known for their clothing, bags, and fragrances, they also have a dedicated skin care division, centered around their private flower garden.
It almost goes without saying, but Dior has a long standing reputation for creating high-end products aimed at the luxury set—all items in the skin care line are priced in the triple digits, with a face cream priced at almost $400.
While this product isn’t for everyone, we do have to acknowledge that Dior does a really nice job promoting the main selling points of their skin care line. They have YouTube videos that showcase the garden where the Rose de Granville is grown. There’s a fair amount of information dedicated to giving users a look at the science behind the product. In all, it comes across as relatively transparent.
Often luxury cosmetics and skin care lines don’t reveal this much about the formulation process. However, we do wish it was easier to find more in-depth information regarding the full formulation. We had to do some digging on other websites in order to obtain this critical piece of information.
Customer Opinions of Dior Prestige Eye Cream
Dior Prestige Eye Cream, unfortunately doesn’t have many customer reviews available. We’re not sure if this dearth of reviews can be chalked up to the high price or the fact that this item is sold through platforms many people don’t post reviews on. Nevertheless, here’s a look at some of the comments we encountered:
“Great cream. It’s delicate, yet hydrating, and provides an immediate brightening effect. While still expensive, I’m happy this company provides refills instead of making you buy the full size again.”
“Love that this product come with the subtle scent of French roses. Loved the textured when I sampled at the store, but it failed to do much after continued use. Dark circles looked worse and skin felt dry.”
“Does nothing it claims to do on the website. The YSL eye cream is so much better, this provides a bit of fragrance, a little moisture and nothing else. Don’t waste your cash.”
“I love this stuff! Got a sample and noticed an instant lift on my 50-year-old skin. Sure, it’s expensive, but I think this little luxury is certainly worth it.”

Conclusion – Does Dior Prestige Eye Cream Work?
In the end, we simply can’t justify spending $215 on an eye cream. Dior Prestige Eye Cream has some potential; the private rose garden and botanical formula—along with the opulent bottle and pearl applicator—certainly make this product seem appealing.
But, there aren’t many reviews and the formula feels somewhat incomplete. For example, his product could use some additional components directed at repairing damaged skin cells. This formula relies heavily on oils and rose extracts, but it would be nice to couple these ingredients with a peptide blend or the addition of retinol.
Dior Prestige Eye Cream had some good reviews, but we could only find a handful. The research conducted on this product appears to only be done by the Dior company, not any outside party. We don’t have enough evidence—anecdotal or science-based, to get a good sense of whether or not this product produces consistent results.
Kremovage, according to our experts, works best to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as the inevitable skin sagging that happens when we lose collagen. A blend of ingredients like green tea and fruit extracts, peptides and more restore and hydrate skin on a cellular level.
The team that makes Kremovage has set out to create a safe and effective product with potent antiaging benefits. Click here to read more about smoothing those crow’s feet with Kremovage.
