Kama Rani is a female nutritional supplement containing a proprietary mix of herbs that promises to increase sexual desire and performance in women.

When taken properly, Kama Rani claims to be able to improve and balance estrogen production for greater sexual desire, as well as to increase the quality and intensity of the sexual experience with Indian folk aphrodisiacs. It also claims to add extra overall energy through the addition of antioxidants and circulatory stimulants.

The best choice for women who want to improve their sex drive is a supplement called Libitrinex. With its blend of nutrients calibrated for boosting the libido, improving hormonal balance and supporting a healthy menstrual cycle, it has consistently outperformed the competition. KAMA RANI INGREDIENTS AND SIDE EFFECTS

Kama Rani has many active ingredients, mainly herbal remedies:

Ashwagandha Asparagus Adscendens Chinese Smilax Shatavari Bacopa
Spanish Pellitory Tribulus Bamboo Black Gram Nutmeg

Ashwagandha: A plant with its origins in India, whose root has medicinal properties. Its supposed benefits are its ability to sooth arthritis, reduce or eliminate insomnia, and treat menstrual issues for women. In larger doses, and when taken for longer periods of time, it can cause potential side effects such as bowel disturbance, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Asparagus Adscendens: Also called safed musli, the plant is mainly found in the western part of the Himalayas. It is a traditional remedy in Ayurvedic medicine for nervous disorders, hyperactivity, insomnia, and uterine disorders. While it has seen some testing in animals, it is not known whether it has been tested to have any effect on people.

Chinese Smilax: A vine native to parts of East and Southeast Asia, it is made into an herbal folk remedy for abdominal problems, arthritis, and constipation. Possible side effects can include nausea, even vomiting, in certain doses.

Shatavari: An old Ayurvedic remedy prescribed for infertility, reproductive health, and as an aphrodisiac.

Bacopa: Also known as water hyssop and brahmi, it’s another plant commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine for its supposed ability to treat back problems, arthritis, sexual performance problems, and IBS.

Spanish Pellitory: A plant with supposed nerve-stimulating properties, it is more often used to treat arthritis and indigestion.

Tribulus: Also called tribulus terrestris, this herbal remedy from the Mediterranean is prescribed for re-balancing hormones, to promote athletic development, and to improve circulatory function.

Bamboo: A common plant found throughout the world, the juice that’s made from it is claimed to have medicinal properties that can treat asthma, coughs, and problems with the gallbladder.

Black Gram: A bean found in the Indian subcontinent, it’s generally eaten as a food, but the essence of it is claimed by traditional Indian medicine to have healing properties, including treatments of male sexual performance difficulties, dizziness, and memory issues.

Nutmeg: In addition to being a spice, nutmeg is used by practitioners of natural medicine to increase a woman’s flow and induce miscarriages. Possible side effects from taking too much of it can include hallucinations, dry mouth, and nausea.

This list has all the top choices for women who want to improve their sex drive.

KAMA RANI QUALITY OF INGREDIENTS

Kama Rani consists largely of ingredients used in Indian Ayurvedic medicine. As this type of homeopathic medicine is largely traditional, many of the claims put forth about any supposed healing properties have not been vetted by objective, scientific testing.

The inclusion of nutmeg makes little sense due to its traditional use of inducing miscarriages, and potential hallucinatory and toxic effects when taken at a higher dose than when found in food.

If this was an arthritis medication, it would make more sense, as out of the ten active herbal ingredients, the majority are touted for their anti-arthritic or circulatory effects. Some of the ingredients that are supposed to benefit female reproductive health have nasty side effects, and the only claims to them working are anecdotal claims of folk medicine practitioners.

THE PRICE AND QUALITY OF KAMA RANI

Kama Rani is sold through the product’s main website. The price for a single box is high at $50, however the price per box goes down if a customer chooses to order three ($42/box) or four ($33/box) at a time. The four box order comes with two free boxes, giving the customer a six-month supply for the price.

Each box contains 60 capsules, and at a dose of two per day, each box can be expected to last around a month.

Given that there is a lot of competition, and at lower prices, Kama Rani does not appear to offer a unique deal for consumers. The only way to get a decent deal would be to order more than one box, but that’s a high upfront cost for a product that may not work for the customer.

To add to this, many of the ingredients in this product are homeopathic, and have seen no systematic clinical trials to determine their efficacy. At a lower price the risk of these unproven remedies might have been worth a try, but at a minimum of $50 for a month, customers can find better deals elsewhere.

BUSINESS OF KAMA RANI

Kama Rani is a part of the India Herbs brand, owned by Affluent Trade Management, Inc. It can be contacted the following ways:

Phone Number: (800) 721-6301

Address: There is no physical address given on the website for customer contact.

Email: There is no direct email address provided on the website. There is however a contact sheet visitors may use. The website claims they will respond within one business day.

The website seems to have two different return policies. The website claims to guarantee a “110%” refund for unsatisfied customers who, only after using their products for 4 months, can return any unused products for a 110% refund. The insistence that people must use their products for four straight months is unusual and rigid, and there is no evidence that they will accept returns before then.

Other parts of the website says there’s a “100%” refund under the same stipulations. The website is not clear which offer is the most recent, which could lead to confusion among customers.

Here are the top ten feminine health supplements designed to revitalize low sex drives.

The website claims that Affluent Trade Management is a “U.S. Corporation,” and is accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Further research shows that the company’s headquarters are actually in Singapore, and that its BBB ranking shows as “NR” – Not Rated.

For a company to have conflicting information about their accreditation, what their refund policy is, and even about where they are incorporated, is very odd and does not instill confidence that the company knows what it’s doing or in its willingness to be honest and upfront with customers. In addition, the insistence that people must try their product for four months is unreasonable, since some customers may react badly to some of the ingredients and therefore would not be advised to continue to take it in order to see the promised “effects.”

CUSTOMER OPINIONS OF KAMA RANI

Kama Rani’s main website contains only six testimonials, all positive, and in spite of them all supposedly coming from native English speakers, they are all written with very poor grammar:

“I used to have a difficulty with the arousal, but your product has made me feel more womanly. And I noticed a change.”

“My name is […] and thanks for the product. I will use the product in the future because I am satisfied with how it works.”

“I am noticing that my womanly areas are much more aroused when I use the product. Thank you.”

While it is possible that the reviews could all be authentic, it is not clear where these testimonials came from. The uniformly-bad English from supposed native English speakers from the United States and the anonymous nature of the reviews also open up the possibility that they could have been falsified. In addition, for a product that supposedly works as well as it does, for there to be only six reviews doesn’t make much sense.

CONCLUSION – DOES KAMA RANI WORK?

A company with conflicting claims about where it’s based, with overblown claims about its affiliation with the Better Business Bureau, a poor website that contradicts its own return policy, and only six customer reviews of questionable origins – and on top of that,  the product’s ingredients are suspect as well. None of these are very good signs.

In the nutrition field we are dealing with people’s health, and so trust is of great importance. When people entrust their health to someone, it is not something to be taken lightly. Therefore it is a pity that Affluent Trade Management and their India Herb brand have not done more to make themselves appear more professional and trustworthy.
