What is it?

Redotex is a weight loss pill made to provide a laxative, stimulant, and thyroid boosting effect. There’s no official website, and this brand is only sold by 3rd party manufacturers who claim it can help users lose 6 pounds in just one week.

This is currently banned in the United States, and it’s only made in Mexico. Though there are online retailers who still sell this brand despite the ban. The drug is meant to produce rapid results, but is it safe to use? Why was this drug banned and what kind of effects have customers experienced? This Redotex review will help you understand the truth about this drug.

Redotex Ingredients and Side Effects
Diazepam Alion Tri-iodothyronine Norpseudoephedrine Atropine Sulfate

Diazepam: Commonly known as Valium, this is used to treat alcohol withdrawals, seizures and anxiety. Web MD advises to:

“Take this medication… as directed by your doctor.

They also mention that if you suddenly stop taking this, that it can lead to withdrawal symptoms. Possible side effects include:

  • Anxiety and restlessness.
  • Vomiting and nausea.
  • Intense sweating and dehydration.
  • Difficulty with coordination and balance.
  • Depression and irritability.
  • Lack of REM sleep that can cause mood disorders.

It’s also known to cause drug dependence.

It’s unknown why this would be included in a weight loss pill. None of the 3rd party sellers mention what kind of benefit this relaxant drug has for losing weight.

Without mention of its intended purpose, this drug seems to be added to help one feel relaxed, perhaps due to the stimulant effects seen in the other added ingredients.

Aloin: A bitter stimulant laxative that is extracted from aloe latex. The FDA issues a statement on the safety of this ingredient. Though it was once allowed to be taken as an over the counter, not it’s:

“not generally recognized as safe and effective”

This ingredient has since been banned due to its potential carcinogenic potential.

A study on rats showed that this ingredient could lower red blood cell count, cause lowered protein in the blood, and increased ALT, which is a sign of an unhealthy liver.

Laxatives are also known to cause negative effects when used as a weight loss solution. Typically, this long-term use can promote:

  • Dehydration.
  • Loss of important fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals.
  • Bone mineral loss and nutrient deficiencies.

Tri-oidothyronine: A thyroid hormone that is used to treat dangerous levels of alcohol in the blood. It’s often given in times where alcohol poisoning is an issue.

It’s also used to create a metabolism boost. Information on this ingredients safety is unknown.

Use of it is given in exact amounts in order to meet the demands of the patient. It’s unknown if this ingredient can be safely taken at a random dosage strength.

Norpseudoephedrine: Amphetamine drug that is used to suppress appetite. It’s considered only a shot term solution to weight loss, since repeat use can cause dependence and multiple side effects such as:

  • Rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, and anxiety.
  • Jitters, spasms, and muscle twitches.
  • Palpitations and agitation.
  • Thirst, dryness of the mouth, and sweating.
  • Nausea and vomiting.

It’s advised to seek the help of a doctor before trying this drug, as it can cause numerous side effects that include addiction.

Only a doctor can determine whether or not this would be safe. Though it’s only prescribed for a short term due to its numerous potential side effects.

Amphetamine drugs are known to be one of the most addicting of all drugs, and their agitation effects can cause major distress to the cardiovascular system. This is why this is not considered a long-term solution.

Atropine Sulfate: Given as an injection for people needing a quick relief from pesticide poisoning and nerve agents.

It increases heart rate and also reduces saliva. It will often be given to people during surgery. Possible side effects include:

  • Rapid heart rate.
  • Dry mouth.
  • Birth defects.
  • Constipation.
  • Hallucinations and confusion.

When taking this ingredient it’s advised to seek a doctor’s recommendation. Without it, it can cause numerous side effects since dosing is advised at a specific limit.

It’s often given to a person depending on their body weight and tolerance levels.

Redotex Quality Of Ingredients

redotexSome of the ingredients are added for unknown reasons. Atropine Sulfate and Diazepam have no weight loss benefit, though they can cause side effects.

Every ingredient in this is advised to be taken either with a doctor’s supervision, or not at all. For example, the Aloin is no longer recommended due to its carcinogenic effects.

There likely would be some appetite suppression, laxative effects, and metabolism boosting properties, but none of these ingredients are advised for long-term use. They’re often taken only with a doctor’s recommendation, and only for a brief period.

Taking a random amount of this can be potentially damaging. This is why the FDA decided to ban this drug.  An article in the New York Times confirms

“is not approved for sale in the United Stats and has been linked to a number of hazardous side effects… including, possibly, death”

The Price and Quality of Redotex

A 30 serving bottle sells for $115, but this number can change depending on where you’re purchasing it.

No official website is offered by the manufacturers, and it’s unknown if this brand is made in fresh batches. The FDA has banned it, and there’s no legal way to purchase this brand outside of Mexico.

Since you’re not advised to take this without a doctor’s recommendation, one could only legally purchase this through a Mexican doctor. Taken without supervision could be a potentially damaging decision. No money back guarantee is offered, and this brand is expensive for the ingredients offered.

Business of Redotex

Medix made this brand, but it’s unknown if they still continue to make fresh batches. They can be reached via the following:

Phone Number: 52 55 5096 2200

Address: Calz. Del Hueso 39, Ejido Viejo de Sta Ursula Ciapa

04650 Ciudad de Mexico, D.F. Mexico.

Their official website does not mention Redotex. They also only make prescriptions, so they offer no returns for their products.

Still, since they fail to mention Redotex, it’s unknown if they continue to make this brand. It’s possible that all batches of this are outdated and potentially nearing expiration.

The only information about this brand comes from 3rd party sellers who don’t offer much information. They also fail to offer money back return policy.

The FDA issued a warning over Redotex due to damaging health effects:

“Redotex poses a health hazard… may cause serious and potentially fatal adverse reactions”

They also began confiscating and fining people who had this drug. Border patrols agents began to makes sure people don’t have this drug as well.

Customer Opinions of Redotex

There are many reviews from people who purchased this product back when it was more readily available:

“I have actually gained weight”

“My whole body hurt and I HAVE A SEVERE HEADACHE”

“I took then and I got a STROKE!”

“head would hurt every morning,”

Many side effects were listed from various people. There were serious issues such as stroke, insomnia, rapid heart rate, and fainting.

Some people did mention that they lost weight, but this is common for a heavy formula that combines banned laxatives and amphetamines. There are also many forums online of people selling this brand, so it can be hard to distinguish the real reviews from the people looking to sell their batches.

How Does Redotex Compare?
  • Product Name
  • User Rating
  • Has Good Appetite Suppressant
  • Has Only Natural Components
  • Contains No Coffee
  • Redotex

Conclusion – Does Redotex Work?

After reviewing Redotex, you might get the urge to still purchase this drug. It’s a powerful mixture of ingredients that are known to cause weight loss benefits. The main issue being is safety. You’re not advised to take this without the full recommendation and watch of a licensed healthcare practitioner. This is because it’s possible for one to become addicted, as well as experience serious side effects. This can include stroke, heart attack, drug dependence and even death.

Much better solutions for long lasting weight loss are available. The better solution would be to take a supplement, which is made with all natural ingredients free from stimulants. There are options available that can help you lose weight without having to illegally purchase them.

One such brand is Sletrokor, it was rated the best weight loss supplement due to its safe formula which many users have lost weight with. It’s made without any stimulants, fillers, artificial colors, or preservatives. It’s also much less expensive than Redotex.

Sletrokor has all natural herbs and plants that are made to help produce real weight loss effects that are backed by clinical studies. That’s why customers have agreed this brand is effective for weight loss. It’s also free of any side effects and it doesn’t cause any dependence. Users have lost significant weight from using this supplement.

This is likely why the company offers a stellar 30-day no risk money back guarantee.

I have used for 3 months and zero results. It does suppress your appetite but that is it. If you eat healthy like me it basically helps you not crave carbs or sweets but no actual weight loss.

Lola says:

That’s not possible at all. If it’s reducing cravings and reducing appetite then that means you’re consuimg less calories which will always lead to weight loss pill or no pill. The issue is something else.

Melissa Vega says:

Weird… I used this for a month so far and have lost 29lbs.

Jasmine says:

IT WORKS SOOOO GOOD! Lost 23 pounds in my first month and 30 pounds in my second month. I am taking a break from it this month. But I am happier, healthier and have NEVER felt better in my life. You have to make sure your ACTUALLY getting the real thing from someone or getting it prescribed thru the doctor! There are a lot of rip offs by people selling what seems to look like the real thing. They are very hard to get! But well worth it 🙂
