What is it?

Synedrex is a weight loss pill made with stimulants for what’s claimed to be “the most powerful thermogenic agent on the market”. It’s claimed to help sustain energy, as well as being beneficial for mental clarity.

It’s made with a proprietary formula made up of different powerful stimulants. They also advise to take these pills slowly, and without any other weight loss pills, as it can be overwhelming in some cases. Though they do mention that on its own it won’t have a crash like effect like other stimulant supplements would have. So is this a safe formula for weight loss? What kinds of results are possible, if any? This Synedrex review has all the information needed to make an informed decision.

Synedrex Ingredients and Side Effects
Niacin Pyridoxine HCI Cyanocobalamin Chromium Polynicotinate Methylxanthine
Sulbutiamine Sandalwood Extract Yohimbine Extract Alpha Lipoic Acid Poly-Thyronine
DiPotassium Phosphate MCMC Silicon Dioxide Magnesium Stearate Titanium Dioxide
FD&C Blue #1 FC&C Green #40 Gelatin

Methylxanthine: An extract of which the stimulants caffeine and theobromine are made from. It’s known to help suppress sleep and to increase energy.

It can potentially lead to side effects that include:

  • Nausea, diarrhea, and stomach problems.
  • Restlessness, insomnia, and fatigue.
  • Irritability and mood changes.

Sulbutiamine: Synthetic version of thiamine or vitamin B1. This ingredient is used to help reduce fatigue. It can potentially lead to side effects that include:

  • Irritability and mood swings.
  • Agitation.

Sandalwood Extract: Extract from a tree which is used to reduce the growth of bacteria and fungus. It’s also claimed to help provide support against spasms, but this has not been thoroughly tested.

Web MD has expressed concerns over the use of this ingredient:

“POSSIBLY UNSAFE when taken by mouth as a medicine for longer than 6 weeks”

“have been reports of kidney damage with prolonged use”

Many other possible side effects have been listed, and they include:

  • Nausea and upset stomach.
  • Itching and rashes.
  • Blood in the urine.

In certain people this can promote severe allergic reactions.

Yohimbine Extract: Extract of a tree bark which is used as a fat burner. Though it might have this effect, this is only seen on an empty stomach. It’s also a controversial ingredient due to its mislabeling and potential side effects. Examine.com adds:

“Labeled dose of supplements that contain it often does not match the actual dose”

According to Examine, this ingredient can either come in a weak form, or in a potentially dangerous and elevated amount. This makes it impossible to dose this ingredient properly. Due to its possibility for dangerous side effects, it’s important to know exactly how much you’re getting.

It may also produce many unwanted side effects that include:

  • Headaches and migraines.
  • Mood swings, irritability, and depression.
  • Extreme anxiety and paranoia.
  • Jitters, spasms, and cold sweats.

Web MD also confirmed other problems:

“Yohimbine, taken by mouth, is POSSIBLY UNSAFE”

“has been lined to severe side effects including irregular or rapid heartbeat, kidney failure, seizures, heart attack, and others”

There have even been documented cases of people dying from this ingredient. When mixed alongside other stimulants, this can potentially increase the risk for side effects even further.

No studies have gone into what kind of an effect this ingredient would have when mixed alongside the proprietary formula of stimulants.

FD&C Blue #1: Artificial food coloring added to give the pills a blue tint. It has no nutritional value, and is known to potentially cause allergies in certain people. Some studies have also shown an increase in ADHD from food colorings like this.

Groups like the Center for Science in the Public Interest have tried banning this ingredient. They claim that since it has no nutritional value and only provides potential side effects, there’s no reason to have it added to foods and supplements.

Synedrex Quality Of Ingredients

SynedrexSynedrex has a high amount of stimulants, some of which may have some weight loss benefits, but it’s unknown what kinds of results may happen when they’re mixed. The problems with this supplement are that there are no clinical studies showing what happens when you mix all these ingredients together.

There’s also 2 forms of food coloring added which serve no purpose other than to make it look unique.

Also, stimulants like Yohimbine, Sandalwood Extract, Methylxanthine, and others have been shown to be potentially unsafe on their own. This can include dangerous side effects like cardiovascular problems, rapid heart rate, anxiety, mood swings, organ failure, and even death. When mixing them together, there’s a possibility for an increased chance of these symptoms.

As you’ll see in the “Customer Opinions of Synedrex” section, many have experienced symptoms from using this supplement.

The Price and Quality of Synedrex

A maximum of capsules a day is recommended, and since each bottle has 45 servings, a total of 22.5 servings sell for $39.99.

There’s no evidence that this formula would be safe to use either short or long term. Using stimulants for weight loss is a potentially dangerous thing to do. Also, the manufacturers mention this supplement was made to go alongside exercises like heavy weight lifting and powerlifting.  So the average user might already be disqualified from using this supplement.

No reassurance is offered that this formula would be safe to use. It’s far too pricy for a mixture of ingredients that are untested when combined together. There’s also a major possibly for serious side effects. So due to the potentially harsh stimulants, food colorings, and lack of safety accountability, this formula ranks poorly.

The official website also adds:

“if the effects of one capsule of Synedrex lasts for more than 15 hours, consider taking one capsule every other day”

So it’s possible for people to have stimulant like effects for almost a full day. This can lead to irregular sleep patterns, and increases in the stress hormone cortisol. It’s unknown if people have been reporting these side effects or if the company has studied these ingredients and found this to be a possibility.

Either way, a 15 hour stimulant effect can be potentially dangerous.

Business of Synedrex

The name of the company is Metabolic Nutrition; you can reach them via the following customer service phone number:

Phone Number: (954) 533-9256

The company fails to offer much information about how they operate; they also don’t provide an address or customer sales email.

They have had issues with the Food and Drug Administration in the past. The FDA mentions that one of their supplements was tainted:

“product is being recalled for containing an undeclared diuretic”

“Triamterene, an FDA approved prescription”

This ingredient is only advised to be taken alongside the support of a dedicated medical professional. It’s likely this ingredient was added for an increased effect, but this is potentially unsafe and not advised.

There’s also a current lawsuit against the company for Synedrex. The suit alleges:

“add(ed) to Synedrex (is) a powerful and illegal stimulant, MethylPentane Citrate”

This potentially dangerous ingredient has since been removed from the formula of Synedrex.

These 2 issues with adding potentially dangerous ingredients are alarming. There’s no reason why a company should ever add undeclared and potentially dangerous ingredients. This makes it hard for a user to safely take this brand knowing it has what’s claimed to be inside.

Customer Opinions of Synedrex

Reviews on this brand are limited to a few online customers: Here’s what some have experienced:

“it gave me heart palpitations:”

“I can’t sleep normally, I might quit”

“arms started to tingle”

“It keeps you awake at night”

Side effects were commonly listed as being unavoidable. People have experienced headaches, heart palpitations, anxiety, insomnia, restlessness, sweating, cramping, and dehydration.

These are all common side effects with stimulant heavy formulas.

People also complained that if you don’t exercise, that you’ll experience even worse side effects. Overall, the common concern was this this supplement was far too overwhelming, and that it was uncomfortable to use.

Conclusion – Does Synedrex Work?

When making a decision on Synedrex it’s important to keep in mind what people have experienced, and what studies have shown is possible with the ingredients. Stimulants can cause an immediate reaction, increasing energy and helping burn calories. Keep in mind they’re not the ultimate weight loss solution. Many users of Synedrex have listed many common side effects that stimulants can have. Studies have shown that individually, some of the ingredients may cause severe side effects that include organ damage and even death.

Better alternatives exist which are not only all natural, but potent enough to rival stimulant formulas. The very best, all natural, and stimulant free supplement of 2024 is Sletrokor.

There are only herbs and botanicals added for safe and effective weight loss results. You can even read real testimonials on their official website. People have continued to lose several pounds through the use of this supplement. Best of all, people mention it’s risk free, easy to take, and won’t cause side effects.

Sletrokor is even backed by a great 30 day risk free money back guarantee. So users are assured they can use this supplement without any risks of lackluster weight loss results.

Mariel says:

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I seriously thought I was going to die, and thankfully, nothing happened, but I vomited twice, my heartbeat felt like it would make my heart burst, and I felt so sad at the end of the day because I thought I wouldn’t wake up again.

Took one pill after cycling off of synedrine. Thought i was dying i was literally saying my final prayers. I ended up in the er where the doc told me I basically overdosed on meth. Afterwards I became caffeine intolerant and developed panic disorder. Stuff had me screwed up for a while.

XMX says:

This makes me feel like complete crap. My chest hurts, painfully. My heart pounding as we speak a million miles a minute. I feel like I am going to throw up. Its been like this for at least 8 hours now. I feel sick. Like I have the flu. I’m sweaty and I can’t focus on ANYTHING longer than 10 seconds without either A. Forgetting or B. About to throw up. Seriously. This is the worst feeling ever. It even makes me feel super super HUNGRY. I’m not kidding! Granted I’m not the skinniest person ever, but I SHOULD NOT FEEL LIKE I AM STARVING. On top of the fact that I just might puke up what I’ve eaten for the past 2 weeks. Please guys, def go with something else. This just isn’t it. I’d rather just diet at this point. I feel like I am dying.
