What is it?

Thermofit is a weight loss pill made with natural thermogenic ingredients for increased metabolism. It claims to also offer increased energy, antioxidant support, and reduced appetite.

The intended effect of this is to support lipolysis, which is what makes the body get rid of fat cells. With this increased thermogenic response, calories and fat are burned at a much quicker rate. This in turn leads to active weight loss through the day. So are all these claimed benefits actually truthful? What kinds of effects are possible, and is it safe? This comprehensive review will go over all the information need to make an informed diction on Thermofit.

Thermofit Ingredients and Side Effects

thermofit

Cyanocobalamin Chromium Dinicotinate Glycinate Capsimax Raspberry Ketones Acai Fruit 5:1 Extract
Green Tea Leaf Extract (68 mg EGCG 38.5 mg caffeine) Bitter Melon Fruit Extract Dandelion Root Extract Gymnema Leaf Extract Dicalcium Phosphate
Microcrystalline Cellulose Croscarmellose Sodium Stearic Acid Film Coat (hypromellose, macrogol and hydroxypropyl Cellulose) Magnesium Stearate
Silica

Capsimax: Patented form of capsicum extract taken from hot chili peppers. This is the chemical in chili peppers which provide a burning sensation, though in this form it does not have this effect. It’s used to help boost metabolism, and to provide quicker calorie and fat burning.

It’s considered safe to take for short periods of times and in limited quantities.  Though it can help with fat burning, Examine.com mentions:

“Can burn fat with minimal potency”

It’s not considered a very strong ingredient for weight loss.

Acai Fruit 5:1 Extract: Fruit grown in parts of Brazil, it’s known for its high antioxidants.  Though it’s claimed to have unique health properties, Web MD mentions:

“acai berries have no known health benefits that’s different from similar fruits”

It’s also touted as an effective weight loss solution. However, Web MD once again adds:

“few studies have tested whether acai promotes weight loss”

More information is needed to show whether or not his would be effective for weight loss. From the available information, this ingredient isn’t much different than any other antioxidant rich fruits.

Green Tea Leaf Extract: This common tea extract has a high rate of antioxidants, and due to its caffeine, it increases energy and provides a slight metabolism boosting effect.

Though this is often explained to be a potent weight loss ingredient, a study by the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health found:

“There are not enough reliable data to determine whether green tea can aid in weight loss”

There are also concerns about potential side effects:

“There have been some case reports of liver problems in people taking concentrated green tea extracts”

Many documented cases of people experiencing health complications exist with this extract. Possible side effects may include:

  • Insomnia, restlessness, and agitation.
  • Rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular issues.
  • Headaches, dehydration, and ringing in the ears.
  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pain.
  • Mood swings, paranoia, and anxiety.

Due to the added caffeine, it’s not advised to mix this with other simulants, as it may increase the risk for unwanted side effects.

Bitter Melon Fruit Extract: This fruit has a chemical which is used to help reduce blood sugar levels.  Examine.com mentions the limitaions of this ingredient:

“bioactive compounds… are still unknown”

“low-dose supplementation is associated with intestinal side-effect”

“not recommended for oral supplementation”

Possible side effects can include rectal bleeding, diarrhea, and stomach pain.

Dandelion Root Extract: Herb used to decrease inflammation and to support urine flow.  According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health:

“There is no compelling scientific evidence for using dandelion as a treatment for any medical condition”

It may also cause side effects such as:

  • Diarrhea, loose stools, and vomiting.
  • Upset stomach and nausea.

It’s also advised not to take this ingredient if one has a history of gallbladder or bile duct issues. This may further increase the risk for damaging effects.

Often diuretics require extra fluid intake, in order to avoid issues such as dehydration or bloating.

Thermofit Quality of Ingredients

ThermofitIngredients like vitamin B12 and chromium can be replaced with whole foods. There’s a lack of studies on acai fruit and weight loss, and ingredients like dandelion and green tea may be potentially dangerous.

Gymnema leaf and raspberry ketones are the only proven safe and effective ingredients for weight loss. The rest are unnecessary to use.

Though the ingredients are all natural, this does not mean it’s proven to be safe. The caffeine found in this and the possible complications with green tea and liver problems need to be considered.

The Price and Quality of Thermofit

Retail price is $65 for a 20 day supply if taken at a maximum dose.  Considering that most of these ingredients are cheap in price, this is not a fairly priced supplement.

The only truly effective ingredient for weight loss is raspberry ketones and gymnema, the rest may either cause side effects, or they’re not yet proven to be effective.

Ingredients like vitamin b12, chromium, capsicum, green tea, and dandelion can be purchased for cheaper elsewhere. None of these have shown potent weight loss benefits.

Business of Thermofit

The company is owned by IT Works! They can be contacted using the following:

Phone Number: (800) 537-2395

Address: 908 Riverside Dr

Palmetto, Florida 34221

They are a multilevel marketing company. This means anyone can become a salesman for the company, as long as they buy their kits. The company has received many complaints, and they have a special warning label on their Better Business Bureau page that reads:

“BBB has received a pattern of complaints from consumers alleging that they received the wrong products”

“Consumers have stated that after trying to cancel with the business, they continue to receive additional products”

“continues to bill after cancellation, and consumers are not informed that there is a $50 cancellation fee”

So there have been numerous complaints about hidden fees, automatic charges to people’s credit cards, and the wrong products being sent out.  Here’s what a few customers have experienced with the company:

“have tried to cancel services with the company now for over 6 months and they continue to charge my credit card monthly”

“I learned this is a scam”

“I just want no more shipments and to be done with this company”

A total of 341 complaints have been filed against the company on just their Better Business Bureau page. There have been repeat cases of people having difficulty dealing with the company.

People have had problems with contacting the company, as well as with dealing with sellers of these brands.  The issue of hidden fees is a major concern, as no reputable business would hide such costs. Many of the people who have had problems also add that the company does not try and resolve these problems.

There are several unhappy customers who felt cheated out of money, and who continue to be charged even with numerous calls and emails to try and cancel. It’s unknown why the company has failed to help these customers, or what can be done to resolve these issues.

Customer Opinions of Thermofit

Reviews for  this brand are mixed. Here’s what a few customers have had to say:

“I saw no difference after 2 months”

“All this did for me was make me sick to my stomach”

“it has given me really bad stomach aches even with diet/exercise”

“I have not lost weight its been two and a half weeks”

Since there are people who earn a commission off sales, it’s possible for some of the positive reviews to be forged.

The verified reviews listed on Amazon.com complained about a lack of weight loss benefits. There were also many side effects that peole experienced such as headaches, anxiety, nausea, and mood swings.

Some even made sure to diet and exercise, only to find that there was no benefit using Thermofit. People added how there was no increased energy, reduced appetite, or any benefit to this brand even when finishing an entire bottle.

How Does Thermofit Compare?

Conclusion – Does Thermofit Work?

When considering a brand like Thermofit, it’s important to look at everything that’s offered. Not only are many of these ingredients not proven through clinical studies to be effective for weight loss, but the company fails to offer any proof this brand works. Many customers have experienced side effects, as well as a lack of weight loss benefits. This brand is also highly priced, with only 2 known effective weight loss additives.

The better solution is offered in the 2024 supplement of the year Sletrokor.

This completely natural, filler free, and stimulant free supplement has clinically studied ingredints for safe weight loss. That’s why so many customers have given it rave reviews. It’s also valued greatly, with a fair price, and pure extracts that are meant to promote safe and effective results. These ingredients have been shown to be effective in clinical studies, and they work together to provide maximum results.

You can experience Sletrokor risk free using their 30-day money back return policy.

Thank you for the post. My doctor disgust Thermofit, their method of Facebook ad is shady. My friend Federico had an awful response to this shady Thermofit with upset stomach and had a chellenge with a money back. Father recommended me never try the supplement!

Shun C says:

I took Thermofit for one day and it has given me pain in my stomach the entire day. I was trying it out before I purchased a whole bottle, but I will NOT be purchasing it after this painful side effect. You guys can have this nonsense.

Shayna says:

Ive been thinking about getting it, but after reading this, I’m not so sure. I wasn’t going to get the pill, I was going to get the powder you mix with a drink… does that have better results?

Anonymous says:

No that’s super nasty

Rox says:

I’ve been taking it for 2 weeks now and I don’t feel a difference. It sucks because I had head such great things, but I’m going to cancel it. Hopefully I don’t have any issues with that.

Cera says:

I’ve been taking it for about a week straight, twice a day with FatFighters after biggest meal. While this may work for others, I have seen no change in weight, way clothes fit etc, and in fact had serious side effects that have caused me to have to stop taking this. I am pretty healthy other than having a few extra pounds but in past if i ingest a lot of caffeine, I have premature ventricular contractions aka PVCs. I stopped drinking sodas when I started taking these but noticed that I was having several PVCs a day to the point of being concerned (after ending my soda drinking habit). I looked up the ingredients of both products and found that a side effect of a lot is irregular heartbeat so I stopped taking them and my PVCs settled down. Just a forewarning for those that have cardiac issues or sensitivities to caffeine.

Darla Eddins says:

Amazing product with super weight loss mojo packed in!! You wanna lose weight, come jump on the band wagon with me!!

Doris P. says:

I ordered the Thermofight and was later advised not to take it due to having high blood pressure. Tried cancelling it and that’s where the problems began. I called customer service and was put on hold for 45 minutes without speaking to anyone. Finally went on the it works site tried to cancel would not allow me to cancel. Finally spoke with a rep and was told that I would have to order a minimum 3 months supply and my credit card would be charged each month. I was adamant that I did not want this and was then told that I would be charged 50 dollars for cancelling early. These hidden fees were never discussed when I ordered Thermofight. This company is a scam please do not place an order with them. My next course of
action is to go through the Better Business Bureau
because no reputable company should force
customers to keep their products if they’re not
100% satisfied or if there is a medical reason why they can’t take it.

Jen says:

This works great. I lose 40lbs using this while exercising!

Mary Rodgers says:

Can you take it with blood pressure

Kristine Borley says:

First off, it took over a month to recieve my first bottle, and being charged for two months . I’ve been using this for about 10 days at this point, I dont feel I’ve lost any weight but every muscle aches, my ankles and hands are swollen like im full of fluid. I’m giving this 14 days and stopping it if the swelling doesn’t go away. ….is painful. I’ll never order from this company again. I got suckered into the 90 day deal but not worth it so far! I’ve not read a single good thing yet

Michael says:

It works! Lost two pants sizes in less than a month but omg I had diarrhea every day I used this product

Hannah says:

I’ve been using this product for a month now I have seen no results with the thermo fight and the fat fighter

Anonymous says:

My gf has been taking this thermo fit and lost 30 lbs . Taken with food you wont get an upset stomach if you have a weak stomach.

Nicole says:

Really irritated. I’ve been using this with diet and exercise for one month and lost 5 lbs… started taking the second bottle for 2nd month and actually gained the weight back and now I’m stuck at the same weight with diet and some exercise. Can’t cancel product either because they have you in a 3 mo. Auto ship and if you cancel you have to pay the fee or like 50 bucks which you pay for a months worth anyways… so not happy with results. Especially when you hear all the testimonies and you get your hopes up.

Colleen Blount says:

I took this supplement and ended up having an enlarged liver. 2 other persons also took this supplement and have liver issues too.

Brandon says:

I have been taking thermofight for a little over a month. At the same time, I took the Whole30 challenge (a different company and is simply a change of diet -eating only whole foods, eliminating grains, sweets and dairy etc.) and have continued to work out daily with weights and cardio at the same time. Where I have only had minimal success in losing more than 10 pounds over the last few years, this time around I have lost close to 20 pounds – I was at 227 and now I’m around 208. I haven’t had any of the mentioned side effects. So, I don’t know if it was the pills or just the Whole30, all I know is a lost a bunch of weight. On the other hand, my wife tried Thermofight, but they made her feel weird so she stopped. So I don’t know if they worked or not, to be honest, but that was my experience.

Justine Ferrazzani says:

This did nothing but make me sick and dehydrated. I took one pill with my meal and drank alot of water. An hour later I’m in the bathroom (I’ll leave the details out) I couldnt leave the bathroom for 4 hours, I couldn’t even take a sip of water without it exiting my body in some horrific way. This was reccomended to me by a friend and it worked great for her but I do not reccomend if you have a weak or sensitive stomach. Also caused some major heart palpitations and irregularity.
