Amylase (from Aspergilus Oryzae): Derived from a species of mold, Amylase is an enzyme that is made by both the pancreas and it is found in saliva. The reason the body produces it is to help make the digestion of carbohydrates easier. By causing this process to happen it gives the body a quick energy source by turning starches into usable sugar.
Amylase is most commonly supplemented when there is damage or a blockage in the body. Otherwise it’s not necessary to use it.
Bromelain: A popular enzyme extracted from pineapples. Bromelain has been used for many different purposes including:
Reduction of inflammation, improved arthritis symptoms, prevention of pain, reduction of heart burn, nasal decongestion and the breakdown of protein.
Some side effects are possible including:
Allergies, intestinal discomfort, and diarrhea.

Green Tea Extract (50% EGCG): Slightly dried plant that is commonly used as a tea, this is rich in antioxidants and it can improve the immune system. This version has a certain amount of Epigallocatechin gallate, which is referred to as a catechin, a specific kind of antioxidant.
The reason why EGCG is added is because of studies which claim it can result in lowered cholesterol and body fat. Unfortunately the FDA has advised companies to stop making health benefit claims since it is not yet proven in sufficient studies.
Determining if it can actually produce fat loss is more than likely to come from the added caffeine in green tea. It’s not clear if Nucific BIO X4 has any added caffeine, but any metabolism effects are likely to be minor. Examine.com also says that any fat loss is:

This implies that if fat loss is the goal, then it’s important to know for certain what the caffeine content is, and this would also require cycling. Caffeine will only produce metabolism boosting effects for a short period, and after this time frame the body will adjust causing what is referred to as a tolerance. Excess caffeine however can potentially lead to side effects.
Slimaluma (Caralluma Fimbriata Extract): Patented by the Gencor company, this offers standardized version of Caralluma Fimbriata. Caralluma Fimbriata has been used in India as a “famine” food, which can suppress appetite and thereby regulate weight.
Since it is patented it has been studied and it is organic, kosher, and was granted GRAS status by the FDA. This ensures that it is likely to be safe when used as directed.
Determining if Caralluma Fimbriata can actually lead to weight loss results is difficult due to the amount of preliminary evidence. More 3rd party studies are therefore required before determining if it can actually lead to weight loss.
There are also some potential side effects including:
The good thing about Nucific BIO X4 is that it is all-natural. The green tea extract can be healthy, but whether or not it can produce reliable weight loss results remains to be seen. The same can be said about Caralluma Fimbriata, since there are insufficient independent 3rd party studies.
This leaves the prebiotic and digestive enzyme blend. Both can be helpful but its unknown if it’s processed in a way to keep it potent. 12 billion strains of bacteria sounds impressive but if it’s not actually all there by the time you supplement with it, then it’s far less valuable.
Direct sales are offered at $29 per bottle. When taken as directed with 3 pills a day, this lasts 30 days. You take each pill before a meal, and this is to aid the digestive process.
The FAQ section advises to take it for a 30 day period minimum to see effects, and it may also require up to 60 days of daily use. They do advise to:
Avoid excess carbohydrates and sweets.
Commence regular exercise.
The reason why it takes about a 2 month period for results is because of the adaptation needed by the digestive system. Gradually Nucific BIO X4 is meant to work with the body and since everybody is different, it can take some time. No evidence is provided however so as to prove that these claims have been studied.
It is certainly good that they only use natural ingredients without any fillers or artificial additives. The issue is that you just don’t know for certain whether or not the sensitive enzymes and prebiotics would actually remain preserved. They can degrade naturally and become useless if they are not placed inside a capsule which is resistant to heat and stomach acids.
The 4 billion strains of bacteria per serving sounds impressive, but whether or not it is actually preserved is the determining factor on whether or not this supplement can be relied upon. If it doesn’t then all you’re getting is a cheap form of green tea extract and a patented form of appetite suppressing Caralluma Fimbriata, which has mixed studies.
They allow 3rd party tests to ensure the overall quality, and they make it in a US facility. A 90 day money back return is offered with no questions asked, though they fail to mention the specifics of this policy.
The company’s Better Business Bureau page has a total of 27 complaints. Customers had the following to say:

Stay far away from products that have not been proven. The only effect you will see is cash loss. It is necessary to supplement your body with probiotics/amylase/lipase…. and all the other ingredients per bottle. The only true and effective weight loss is calories in and calories out. Eat less, make appropriate food choices, don’t eat late at night before bedtime and exercise.

Has anyone asked what the shelf life of his product is? A year ago I ordered 18 bottles and have 8 bottles left since I do not always take 3 capsules a day. Manufactured date on bottles is Sept 2017. I took it for 29 days then suddenly experienced all the significant side effects you mention and more. I was told to go to the ER, because the symptoms suddenly included possible heart problems until I was told the cardiac issue could be okay but told to take further tests to make sure. When released from the hospital I now have to do two abdominal studies, with a cardiac evaluation including an upcoming stress test. In addition, I will be sent for a colonoscopy/ endoscopy. So far my medical professionals have told me that they believe this was due to the supplement. I sent an email to the company telling them of this. Obviously I do not recommend this product

Once starting Bio x4, I noticed my heart started skipping beats and did not beat normally as if beating simular to heart type murmer. I only took two a day, one at each meal. I took the product for five days. I am very active having no health issues. I have since stopped taking Bio x4.
Well I like it. I have lost 20 pounds since December 2018. I lost it it like a pound or 2 a week. I have a multitude of medical issues and taking about 10 prescriptions. This has not interfered with any of them. My biggest problem is that my stomach is always bloated. Since taking this, rarely ever bloated. I haven’t had a stomach as flat as this in years and years. The appetite suppressant works great for me. I have now downsized to a medium from size large. I very happy with this product.
The ordering process is deceptive and basically confusing. I would not deal with these people ever again. The product itself is basically harmless, but does little of what the purveyors claim it can do. Once starting Bio x4, I noticed my heart started skipping beats and did not beat normally as if beating simular to heart type murmer. I only took two a day, one at each meal. I took the product for five days. I am very active having no health issues. I have since stopped taking Bio x4.
Didn’t work for me either took three months of it and nothing.
I was tripled billed for this product. I do not know if it worked or not. They seem like a not liget company the way the purchase processing goes.
Well I like it. I have lost 20 pounds since December 2018. I lost it it like a pound or 2 a week. I have a multitude of medical issues and taking about 10 prescriptions. This has not interfered with any of them. My biggest problem is that my stomach is always bloated. Since taking this, rarely ever bloated. I haven’t had a stomach as flat as this in years and years. The appetite suppressant works great for me. I have now downsized to a medium from size large. I very happy with this product.
Absolutely worthless. Did not help with ANY of the claimed weight loss, appetite, digestive improvement claims. Expensive and useless – no results

The ordering process is deceptive and basically confusing. I would not deal with these people ever again. The product itself is basically harmless, but does little of what the purveyors claim it can do. Be careful, and buy scientifically proven products from reputable dealers and solid companies who do not over-hype their products. I am not happy with these people.
Some kind of a way i ended up with this product and i didn’t even order it. i was just looking at it on the web site. I am very suspicious of this company.
WELL, I just received my bottle biox4 in the mail yesterday and I just took a pill with my oat meal. not knowing too much about the product; just wanted to address my digestion issue. I don’t want to lose weight, but I don’t want diarrhea. well here goes the first message I will leave for the bio x4.

I have taken as directed, and suffered dietary upsets ever since. I want a refund, this is not what I wanted. Dietary upsets are very unpleasant. Please advise regarding refung.
My husband recently ordered this supplement for both of us to take. We haven’t received it yet, My question is… Does this supplement have any seafood/shellfish additives? I have a severe allergy to both. Please let me know asap
