Luma Essence Ingredients and Side Effects
There are several different product pages advertising Luma Essence, and none of them list or mention the same active ingredients. Some don’t mention any ingredients at all. Ingredients in the formula may include:
Vitamin C |
Aloe Vera Extract |
Glycerin |
Lavandox |
Pullulan |
Hyaluronic Acid |
Rosemary Extract |
Mint Extract |
Palmitoyl Oligopeptide |
Vitamin C: Also known as Ascorbic Acid, this powerful antioxidant aids in the neutralization of free radicals and helps protect against oxidative stress.
Aloe Vera Extract: Aloe vera has been long known for its nutrient-rich source of hydration. It soothes skin and contains the potent antioxidant power of Vitamins A, C, and E to help protect skin from damage.
Glycerin: A natural humectant that can either be derived from plant oils or synthetically made. Draws water from the air into the skin, and forms a protective layer over skin to lock in the moisture.
Lavandox: An extract of lavender oil which may help relax the fine muscle fibers in your skin, producing a more youthful/healthy appearance.
Pullulan: A film forming agent used in skin care for its solubility in water and adhesive properties. It pulls the skin taut when dry, temporarily diminishing the look of wrinkles.
Hyaluronic Acid: A natural glycosaminoglycan with exceptional skin moisturizing and healing abilities. It fills gaps between collagen and elastin, replaces lost moisture, and hydrates the skin.
Rosemary Leaf Extract: This plant has natural antioxidant properties, but its highly aromatic nature can cause sensitivity to some skin types. It is also used as a natural fragrance.
Mint Extract: A very aromatic herbal extract used in skin care for its fragrance, as well as its natural antiseptic properties. It can be soothing and calming, but it can also irritate sensitive skin.
Palmitoyl Oligopeptide: A fragment of collagen, this chain of amino acids can help to promote the production of healthy collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and glycosaminoglycans, resulting in smoother, more radiant skin.
Poly-plant firming peptides are mentioned, but it is not clear which, and peptides are included in some form in nearly all anti-aging products. Simply saying the formula includes them is not informative or impressive.
Essential vitamins and nutrients are also promised, but again, it is not entirely certain which, as the ingredient lists on each product page for Luma Essence are incomplete and vary from page to page. It is also unclear just what goes into their proprietary complexes, and what makes them more effective than other proprietary anti-aging formulas.
Consumers also want to know:
- They are paying a fair price for a product.
- If there are any potentially harmful ingredients included.
- How ingredients in the product compare to ingredients in other products.
The product page claims there are no side effects to the all-natural formula, but not all skin types react the same way to certain ingredients. Before using this or any skin care product, one should always check with a specialist to discuss the possible risks.

Luma Essence Quality of Ingredients
The product may contain quality ingredients beneficial to skin, but without a full list or descriptions about what they do, consumers are unable to make informed decisions about whether it can help with their specific skin concerns.
There several product pages advertising Luma Essence all vary in their provided ingredient information, which should be a concern to anyone interested in the quality of their skin care products and what nutrients they provide.
If the pages are accurate, the formula contains rosemary and mint, which can be soothing botanicals, but they can also be highly sensitizing and irritating to sensitive skin.
The website claims the advanced delivery system will transport the ingredients deep into the skin for maximum penetration and instant results. The clinically-proven results of their proprietary peptide complexes are not provided.
Consumers are forced to simply trust it will work with their particular skin type. There is absolutely no credible evidence proving the formula will help to reverse the visible signs of aging.
The Price and Quality of Luma Essence
Luma Essence is very expensive compared to other products with similar ingredients making the same claims.
It is required to sign up for the free trial to purchase the product, and a credit card must be provided to cover the shipping charges of $4.95. Once the trial is over after a period of 30 days, the full product cost of $79.95 will be charged to the credit card on file.
Customers should pay attention to the small print to avoid unwanted charges, as they are automatically enrolled into an autoship subscription service until it is canceled. The responsibility to cancel is on the customer.
Autoship subscriptions and deceptive trials aside, there is simply not enough evidence to prove or even suggest the formula performs as advertised. Without the full ingredient list or a detailed explanation of their specific formula, there is no way to be sure consumers are getting full value.

There are countless complaints against the company, most of which stem from deceptive marketing practices, unauthorized charges, and the required replenishment service. Many do not realize that they are agreeing to further shipments and charges simply by placing an order.
Another worrying point about the company and brand website is the lack of information about the science and philosophy behind their products. The clinically proven results are not provided, and there is very little information about the company.
There are also many complaints against the Luma Essence product itself. There is no full ingredient list available, no customer testimonials, and the various web pages used to advertise the product all offer the vaguest, and in many cases, conflicting information.
Very little about Luma Essence seems credible.

Customer Opinions of Luma Essence
All skin care products affect everybody’s skin differently, so until you try it for yourself, you won’t know how it works for you. Fortunately, there are online reviews of Luma Essence available, allowing consumers to make informed decisions.
Reviews are generally negative for the cream. Many negative opinions cite the unethical business practices as their biggest disappointment, but most say that the product just doesn’t work.
“This made my face burn. Not just tingle, but BURN. I should’ve done more research, because I am very sensitive to mint. The ingredient list online did not mention it.”
“I had a weird feeling about this. I should have listened to my instinct, but instead I am saddled with a $75 charge for a product that was supposed to be free.”
“It seems to moisturize well, but I have not noticed any reduction in lines or wrinkles, aside from the initial tautness, but that goes away after a few hours”
The effectiveness of any skin care product depends on individual skin type, allergies, proper application, and many other contributing factors. Please be aware when researching skin care products based on customer opinions.

Conclusion – Does Luma Essence Work?
Luma Essence claims the intelligent ingredients and advanced delivery system will instantly reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, but does not disclose any specifics. Natural silicones, texture enhancers, and film-forming agents create a cosmetic smoothing effect by filling in lines and creases, but it is a temporary effect. There are also known irritants in the formula.
In addition to the questionable performance of the product, there is also a huge lack of transparency surrounding the manufacturer, leaving many consumer questions and concerns unanswered. For these reasons, our reviewers cannot recommend this product.
Our expert reviewers have analyzed and compared many anti-aging products and found Kremotex to be the best overall.
Its fast-acting ingredients boost collagen production, and essential vitamins and antioxidants promote cell regeneration, reversing the effects of aging and skin damage. Remarkable before and after transformation photos along with glowing testimonials show why Kremotex was voted the best anti-wrinkle cream of 2024.

This is a scam do not buy over charges and there is no 14 day trail period
Very upset with this company
Feeling totally scammed.
Over $260.00 charged to my credit card for “free trial”.
2nd product shipped March 8, 2017. Received March 13th. Charged $138.38 March 14.
Don’t buy this stuff!!!! They overcharge your credit card multiple times. Bought it and all of a sudden I had $300 worth of charges on my credit card. Don’t do it this is a horrible company.
Called custom service, number is on the package and got an automotive response that allowed me to cancel my order. I did this within the trail period.
You have to beware, they never mentioned the cost of the product or that you would automatically be charge for a shipment at full cost with no action other than paying for the trial which is under $5.
Don’t buy!!!!
They trick you and overcharge you! They say it is only a few dollars for trial, but make it over a hundred!
Really! Some of my friends were going to buy it, now I’ll tell them to not buy it. I’ll tell all my friends that this product is not worth it
This is a scam, ordered free sample while away, when I arrived home sample was here, now I am tied to 2 charges of over 300.00. How is that a free sample? No way was their info that I now was in a plan, no return address, aggressive rep at the other end, this is not over, my credit card co. Is involved and I will soon be making calls. The sample burned my face badly, by the way like a skin peel
Do not buy their product. It’s a scam and overall a really bad company. They overcharged my credit card and after 2 months and the return of their product they still didn’t reverse the charges.
I too was scammed by this company. There is nothing on initial offer about sending the packages back without 14 days to avoid further charges or shipments and now I am stuck with over $500.00 worth of charges on my credit card!! They have told me that they will reimburse me when I send the product back and so I did. No reimbursement on my credit card and that has been over 2 weeks! My credit card company states they have it “hidden” on their website about the 14 days, and that I need to fight them. It’s a totally scam!! These people are collecting money from innocent people and nothing is being done about it!
I total agree. I ordered 2 “free” samples via a popup at 680 news. The next thing I know, my credit card was charged for an online magazine that I never received and $250. 00 for the samples that I never got around to trying. A total scam. I have contact the company to return and to get a refund and my credit card fraud department as well.
Scam Artists & Deceptive Marketing
Please DO NOT do business with Luma Essence! They will deceive you, and put charges on your credit card you didn’t authorize! Your free trial is NOT FREE!!! After 30 days, you will be billed $112.34 and then you will be billed every month for the same. If you’ve already ordered, you’re reading this too late. CANCEL WITH THEM!
My CC company had a three way conference call with them, and the cheating liar working for Luma Essence said he had mailed me a refund cheque. When I asked him what address he sent it to, he gave a wrong address. They refused to cooperate with the CC company and now I’m only getting half of the cost covered by my CC. I’m on the hook for the other half.
One other thing, if the representative at Luma Essence tells you to keep the product and not return it, you are being set up. THIS IS A LIE! If you don’t have your postage receipt as proof that you returned the product, your Credit Card company cannot reverse the charge to your card.
These people are professional con artists; they know the game. You can’t beat them, but you can never do business with them in the first place.
Do not get caught with this company, its not only a Scam its Fraud with that!!!
