Their advertising recommends it for people with rosacea, that have been exposed to direct sunlight, or that have recently undergone a chemical peel or similar treatment. It is designed to help treat skin that is oily, sensitive, red, or prone to breakouts, earning it the nickname from its manufacturers “Valium for the skin.”

The very limited ingredients list that they disclose does not give much reason to believe that it can have much of a positive effect, while the fact that they do not choose to disclose their other ingredients opens up the possibility that some of their additives may have a negative effect on users.
