What is it?

DermaWand is an anti-aging product that promises to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, tone and tighten saggy skin, and reduce puffiness in the eyes and cheeks.  Combining thermal radio frequency technology with gentle stimulation, this product claims to oxygenate, cleanse, and purify the skin, and minimize enlarged pores.

Microcurrents of thermal energy are carried underneath the skin’s surface, raising the temperature and creating a healthy, glowing appearance.  The massaging effect is meant to improve circulation and bring fresh blood, oxygen, and nutrients to the surface.

Our team of experts have researched and tested many different anti-aging products, and have found the best option to be Kremotex. Made with apple stem cells, shea butter, and other natural ingredients on the cutting-edge of anti-aging science, users are hailing the immediately noticeable results of this product.

Dermawand Ingredients and Side Effects

There are no ingredients in Dermawand, but included in the kit is a Pre-Face Treatment.  It is designed especially for use with the Dermawand, but can be used on its own.  The key ingredients are:

Chamomile Aloe Vera

Chamomile: An herbal extract with natural antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic properties.  It is believed to calm and soothe irritated skin.

Aloe Vera: The juice and gel of this succulent plant is often used in skin creams, sunscreens, and burn ointments for its soothing abilities.

Dermawand Quality of Product

The radio frequency thermal technology of Dermawand has been around for over a century.  It has evolved since it was first discovered, and has since been used in the medical and dermatological fields as a form of therapy for a wide variety of conditions.  Lower amplitude versions have recently become available for home use, making it a convenient and affordable alternative to having a similar treatment done by a professional.

Dermawand sends electrical current frequencies through a glass electrode to the skin.  When the electrothermal energy reaches the skin cells, they become stimulated, producing collagen and killing bacteria.  This is a less-invasive alternative to Botox, and with one easy-to-use device, it also saves on many expensive products and time consuming skin care routines.

There are some reviews, however, of the product being flimsy, cheap-feeling, and nondurable:

“I don’t know if I got a defective unit (and customer service is unable to answer, all 5 times I called), but it does not feel solid when using.  It shakes and rattles.”

“It felt very fragile, so I was very careful using it, but it broke anyway within the first few uses.  I’ve been trying to get in touch with the company to replace it, but no luck.  It’s a paperweight now.”

See which all-natural, age-defying skin creams top the 10-best list.

The Price and Quality of Dermawand

The cost of Dermawand is $120 plus shipping.  There is a (not free) trial available, through which you initially pay a non-refundable $14.95 processing and handling fee.  If you do not return and cancel within 30-days, you will be billed the first of three $39.95 installments plus $19.95 shipping.  The remaining two installments will be billed in 30-day increments.

The complicated terms of their automatic billing service and the misconceptions of their “free trial” create confusion and frustration in many customers, making it more of a hassle than an opportunity to try Dermawand.  Most of the complaints are not so much about the product as they are about the unclear terms, exhausting returns process, and poor customer service.

These types of not-entirely-free trials and auto-billing services are common with online skin care products, and customers should be aware of the terms when placing orders.  It may seem like a great value to try “risk-free” for 30-days, but to take advantage of the offer, you must provide a credit card number.  Once they have it, it remains on file, raising the question of whether the trial is truly risk-free.  There are plenty of online customer reviews about the lengths they have gone to trying to return the product and get their money back.

“I placed ONE order, but they kept making unauthorized charges. They claimed I agreed to a club, which I didn’t. After many frustrating calls, I am now in collections, and I have given up trying to get my money back. It is theft.”

Customer Opinions of Dermawand

Customer reviews of Dermawand are generally positive, with a few who saw no results, and some who experienced minor skin irritation or opposite results than what were advertised.

Skin care products affect everybody’s skin differently, depending on individual skin type, proper application, and other contributing factors. Without testing it yourself, you won’t know how it works for your unique skin type.

Fortunately, there are many online reviews available, allowing consumers to make informed decisions.

One common characteristic of Dermawand that users have noticed is that it works best on users over 40.  Results seem to be far less noticeable on younger users.  This could be because the signs of aging are more apparent in older users making the results seem more dramatic, but even younger users who show visible signs of aging have been disappointed:

“I am 27 with deep creases already, and I was able to see some results in the reduction of my pores, but that’s about it.  My mom tried it as well, and she looks like she had a facelift.”

Some customers said that it works, but it can take months of daily use before noticing any results:

“I bought this after seeing what it did for my friend’s complexion in just a few days, but it took at least 2 months for me to notice the smallest changes in my skin.”

Conclusion – Does Dermawand Work?

Dermawand promises dramatic anti-aging benefits, and according to many positive customer reviews, seems to deliver on many of them.  There are, of course, those who experienced irritation, and skin that looked and felt worse than before treatment, but there is no way to tell if these experiences were because of the product, or user error.

When the price, misleading terms, and unhelpful customer service are also taken into account, it may not be worth the trouble to try it.  Everybody’s skin type is unique, so if the Dermawand doesn’t work for you, it may turn into an expensive lesson to carefully read the fine print.  Don’t let it happen to you.

Our expert reviewers have tested and researched many anti-aging products and named Kremotex the best overall.

Its fast-acting, all-natural ingredients boost collagen production, and essential antioxidants and vitamins promote cell regeneration, reversing the effects of aging and skin damage.

The glowing testimonials on their website, along with remarkable before and after transformation photos show why Kremotex was voted the best anti-wrinkle cream of 2024.

Missy says:

I made the purchase. First of all…for me personally, I did not think it was painful. It was a slight tingeling sensation that you control by turning up and down. I seen a girl on you tube that acted like it was painful. I was worried but I had done ordered it. Lol. It was not painful. Turn it on low setting then go up. I had mine up to 9!!! The video I watched appeared to be a little over dramatic.
The clean smell reminded me of an airpurifier I had once. So stink? That’s a harsh word.
Seeing that I’ve only used it 4 times…I am unable to review the effectiveness at this time.
Easy to use. I’m hoping for good results however, jury is still out. This is an honest review. These opinions are my own.

Mommy M says:

How does it work for you now?Are you satisfied with the result?

frankie ravan says:

i have been using the Dermawand over a month, unfortunately i don’t see much difference in my skin. i use it at least twice a day. i am disappointed, but still using it.

Sandra Pigg says:

The Dermawand or its products did not work. I tried to return it after a week and a half, but the representative refused process my request. I called to cancel any further products, but the representative was very persistent. I was forced to be rude in order to cancel any future automatic charges to my account. I realize that I should never have purchased the product, but would like to make sure that others do not repeat my mistake.

Doug says:

In order to take advantage of the 30 day risk free trial, I would use a re-loadable or prepaid card that can not be abused by unethical companies. Or buy at the “As Seen On TV’ stores or website.

Anna says:

Used it for 4 weeks & my skin was even more saggy & wrinkly than before! 50 looking 70

Odette says:

Ive been using derma wand ev day for a month, no difference to my skin , it get red by rubbing the wand on your skin n make my lines under my eye red n more prominent, in one word crap, ripp off

Jacqueline Weber says:

Im wondering if people are experiencing headaches due to this product? I read one review on youtube and she discribes headaches and dry skin, which I got dry skin, headaches are everyday. Going to stop using it and see if my headaches go away.

Liz says:

I’ve been getting headaches too.

Patricia Kenny says:

Yes . I have noticed headaches . Not usually prone to them . Don’t know if it’s coincidence ….I really want to continue using it . Bit odd though .

sherrie stephes says:

I was surprised by so many negative remarks on the derma wand. I guess everyone is different. It did take about 12 weeks before I noticed a big difference in my skin. I took pictures and notes on what my skin looked like before derma wand , it is amazing to me. I do not want saggy skin and I don’t want surgery. A few weeks is not enough time for the effects to really show. We didn’t get this way in a few weeks and definitely will not get dramatic results that quickly. I use this every morning , evening and before bed. I also use it over my makeup just before leaving for an event . I love it. The hanging skin that had dropped down onto my eyes are now gone . I am so pleased. I have noticed that the crows feet are not as deep and almost invisible now when I apply my make-up. I am 61 and no spring chicken but it feels good to look in the mirror and see that sagging skin disappear . I am excited to see if 12 more weeks offer even more visible changes. I will let you guys know.

Yvette says:

I’m surprised at the amount of people who want instant results I’ve been using for a few weeks and allow I can’t see overwhelming results. I’ve been given lots of compliments on how great my neck looks. Thinner and more toned.

Olive Baker says:

I Have had the privilege of having and using TWO Dermawands; one for 12 years and the second for SIX months. The bulb gave out on the first one so I replaced it with a second. Both units have been excellent in their quality and certainly NOT flimsy in any way, as one person said hers was. Perhaps she received one in a thousand that ‘shook and rattled’? Maybe it had been dropped or damaged in some way??
As for the results of usage, my skin has responded well to the product. If you use a serum or cream pre-usage it glides over the skin well and will NOT leave your skin red and/or sore, as one user said. Really, people should perhaps be tutored on pre-usage by the Company which may help new users? Common sense would dictate that rubbing anything on your dry skin may make it red/sore?
I am in agreement with Sherrie in her review.
The majority of reviewers have had good to great results, young and old. I am going on 84 and have had my share of those darned wrinkles, many of which have either gone or diminished over the years and I am a firm believer in Dermawand. Those that are not so enamoured by their Dermawand should stick with it, everyone’s skin reacts differently depending on how it is used and how long it is used, IMO.

Karena Marina says:

I agree with Sherrie as the Dermawand has definitely worked for me too (read the reviews on Boots website)
I use it CONSISTENTLY every evening for just a few minutes, then 3 times a week I do the exercises on my target areas. If I have time, I whizz it over my face in the morning for a few minutes too.
You will feel different after just a few days, but After 3 months, ive seen a lifting effect above my eyes, meaning I don’t have saggy eyelids any more. The lines from my nose to my mouth have GONE! And the downward pointing lines from the corners of my mouth are almost gone as I have done the exercises they recommend, consistently. My skin feels much much firmer & I get lots of comments about how fresh faced I look now.
This isn’t a quick fix, you get out what you put in, but it’s so so worth it. There is absolutely No pain with this product, if you feel pain you have it too high – I still only use it on setting 4 (1 around the eyes) if your skin is drying out, you have it on too high a setting (I learned to turn it down due to this)
I can’t recommend this tool highly enough – I’m 48 and now have really firm, smooth skin with reduced pores.

My dermawand doesn’t light up anymore.

Katherine Cheney says:

I ordered a dermawand months ago it never arrived. I have called the customer service line. apparently they shipped it to the wrong address, they were to send me insurance papers by email which I never received, made a call today and the gal on the phone said she could not help me no dermawand and not refund will be done even though they took out another $39.95 out of my bank account today. This is horrible!

Linda Albright says:

I have used the derma wand for months now. Tried using Boots 7 and other creams with it and i don’t notice any diffetence in my skin. I do like how refreshing it make my skin feel so i guess i will just keep using it.Might as well just keep using it maybe i will see some improvement.

Julie says:

Well I’m thrilled, only been using the Derma Wand for 5 days morning and night and already see great improvement on my skin . It’s certainly tightend my pores and my skin looks flawless.. 3 of my friends have asked me which face cream I use .
Definitely best £100 I’ve ever spent .

Jen Bowhey says:

It totally works. Do one area while you watch TV in bed for a half HR. Total results. I’m 45 and I’m impressed. I use the highest frequency and I could handlea higher megahurts……

Kellfris says:

Product worked very well at first but quit within a 3-4 weeks of purchase. The seller informed me that I could purchase parts from them to fix it but it was cheaper to just throw it away and take a loss.

Tammi Bell says:

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! They overcharged my credit card 6 times and when I called customer service I got nothing but BS. I had to change my credit card number !!!

Trumpy bear says:

If it’s too good to be true..

Ginta says:

Hello. I m from Latvia. And I would like to buy Derma Wand. I had it already more than 10 years, but now broke. I want one more. Is it posible to get ?

Becca says:

I want this to work for me but it is painful for me to use it. Even on the “1” setting I get a spark type burning feeling like a slight electrical shock…I’m very tolerant of pain and am surprised I don’t see other people mentioning this. I use a good skin cream. The smell is like something has burned…like burning electrical wires. It doesn’t smell fresh to me. The glass top that glides over my skin actually gets covered with my skin cream that has heated up and stuck to it…I have to clean it off every couple of minutes. Does it sound like mine might be defective? Does anyone else have these issues? I can see how it works already and I’m not complaining…just wondering about the electrical shocks

Lori says:

I purchased my Dermawand from Kohl’s. I’ve only started using it but plan to use it two to three times daily. I don’t expect instant results as I’ve read other reviewers expect and are disappointed when it failed to meet their expectations on their timetable. Follow the instructions and have patience! I will write another review if or when I see results. In the meantime, I think it’s a neat gadget and I’m having fun using it.

Taylor Sanders says:

They DESERVE ZERO STAR, THEY ARE SCAMMERS, DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL SELL YOU EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN. I HAVE FAMILY WHO TOO AGREE THEY GIVE HORROBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. THEY ARE STEALING MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFO THEY WILL AUTHORIZE IT WITHOUT PERMISSION. I ASK THE SALES REP TO CANCEL MY ORDER WHICH I NEVER GOT NOV 1ST ITS DEC 27 AND THEY ARE ROBBING MY BANK ACCOUNT. I TOLD THESE PEOPLE NOT TO PROCESS THE ORDER BECAUSE THAT DAY THE MAN WAS TRYING TO SELL ME A MILLION DIFFERENT THINGS SO I GOT FRUSTRATED, THEY LOST MY TRUST AFTER I REPEATEDLY TOLD HIM I ONLY WANT ONE PRODUCT, HE DISREGARDED WHAT I SAID WENT ON AN ADDITIONAL 30 MINUTES OF MY TIME, I WAS TRYING TO THE MAN IN GOING TO LATE FOR WORK THAT’S WHY I HAD WANTED TO JUST PLACE MY ORDER AND GO TO WORK, HE LACKED PROFESSIONALISM STEADY TRYING TO MARKET ME A MILLION DIFFERENT PRODUCTS I TOLD HIM TO CANCEL EVERYTHING ON OUR INITIAL CONTACT HE SAID OKAY BUT LIED. THEY ARE STEALING MONEY FROM INNOCENT PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF, I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND PLEASE PLEASE NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE THEIVES. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT ALL THE WAY DOWN.

AM Barrett says:

Have just started using it – did get a headache after second daily use. I am sensitive to electromagnetic frequencies so am monitoring. Skin feel tauter already and feels warm and glowing. Throat feels slightly rough after second treatment – little bit hoarse – and felt slight nerve pain in one tooth. Any electrical pulse is bound to have some effects, so it needs to be used carefully. The unit is robust enough and lightweight. Two three-minute sessions a day seems better than having fillers and Botox or surgery to improve skin – but I am taking it carefully to monitor any adverse effects. Currently I feel use once a day might be better for me, as I have very sensitive skin.

Jane P. says:

I used my derma wand for about 1 week and the bulb broke. The cs will not take the proof I have as a receipt. My Capitol 1 statement and my other proof is the order info from ebay. I’m sure they will not take that either. They want (store type receipt). I tried explaining to her that ebay doesn’t operate like that. The week I did use it, I saw a difference in the appearance of fine lines. I do not think I will buy another one. I’ve read derma wands are a scam. But who knows??

Oneida says:

Can I use aloe gel with the wand

NJ Gal says:

I did my research before buying DermaWand. Most sof these products help some people but don’t help other people. This was the only product that had the best reviews of all. When I saw it on the Dr Oz show I finally decided to try it out. I know you are supposed to use it 2x a day but I don’t . I actually use it when I look in the mirror and see that my face is sagging and then I take it out again or I will use it every day and then stop. But it still gives me a lift. I also use the Facial Flex gadget 2x a day, it’s easier to use for me. I am 70 now and when I was 65 I was told that I looked like I was in my 40’s. I always had good skin but now I have to take special care. So, I only use skin care products that are organic, drink a lot of water ( that helps to plump the skin) and skip all processed foods, gmos, gluten…..believe me that you eat shows up on your body…… My two cents…..

Linda says:

I have been using the Derma Wand since it first came on the market. I swapped the first one out for the new model. Hands down, this is the absolute best anti aging product I have ever used. I constantly get people saying, “They say you can always judge a woman’s age by the wrinkles and sagging on her neck”. You are like 50, 52 tops. No Mam! In 3 years, I will be 70”. 67 and proud of it. You have to be diligent and use it faithfully as per instructions. There are no miracles for beautiful, young looking skin, besides youth. Ladies, this is the closest product. Happy girl!

Teri Baker says:

I’ve had my Derma Wand for 15 years and I haven’t aged a day since I got it. I still look like I’m in my late 40’s and I’m 62….best MONEY I ever spent….now I started before I had wrinkles TRUE…but I never got ANY I’m sure its because of my Derma Wand

Kate says:

It worked for me with settings on 9, you can see immediate results. I put vitamin E oil on my face then use my DermaWand wand to let the oil penetrate my skin. It works amazingly & quickly. I do a 30 minutes session every other day. Love this product. Next time release a product with rechargeable battery on it instead.

Patricia Price says:

derma wand don’t work i being using for months don’t waste your money i don’t lie if i could i sue for false advertising

Anonymous says:

I used Dermawand for 3 consecutive days as advised morning and evening (as per instructions) and started to notice thread veins appearing. I stopped using it immediately but the thread veins became more prominent over the next few days. I contacted ICTV (the manufacturers) and sent photos of my face but they have just ‘brushed me under the carpet’. I am now contacting Trading Standards and the British Medical Association to advise in the event this happens to someone else in the future. My advise to everyone is DON’T buy the Dermawand – it’s dangerous.

Luz cadena says:

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS AWFUL ITEM I GOT WRINKLES MIRE THAN I HAD BEFORE USING Dermawand. Now i have to spend mire money to get rids of wrinkles this product gave me. I would like to make a lawsuit against this manufacturer. Also you will never get a hold of anyone over the phone or email. I try gettimg my money back no luck. I can’t afford a lawyer now but maybe later i will file a lawsuit.

Flordeliza Pineda says:

It maybe beneficial in some aspects but the the derma wand itself has a very poor quality. After using it for 4 months ( the Pro and the regular dermal wand) both are not working properly anymore. If you want it repaired, the price will be double. Such a waste.

Adel says:

I dont know if it’s my imagination but I used derma wand growing up especially on areas where I had acne, it appears to me that I have lost my collagen in those areas and have aged prematurely.
