What is it?

Revita Youth Cream is a skin care product that is designed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve overall skin hydration. Its advertising says that daily use of Revita Youth Cream increases collagen production, reduces the appearance of dark spots and discolorations, and fights the damage caused by UV rays.

They claim that their cream has shown an ability to increase firmness, elasticity, and reflectivity in the skin while also visibly smoothing texture and tone.

Our panel of experts has found Kremotex to be the most effective skin care product available without a prescription. Its proprietary blend works to improve cellular functionality and collagen generation while also reducing the effects of free radicals and other toxic agents.

Revita Youth Cream Ingredients and Side Effects

Revita Youth Cream does not publish their complete ingredients list anywhere online. They do choose to highlight three ingredients in their blend, however, and those are:

Matrixyl Synthe 6 Hyaluronic Acid Vitamin C

Matrixyl Synthe 6: The brand name for palmitoyl tripeptide-38, a synthetic chemical that some people believe increases collagen production and regulation, as well as possibly improving wound healing speeds.

There is no scientific data about the effects of matrixyl synthe 6 outside of its manufacturer’s initial study.  That study did show that users experienced a slight increase in collagen production, which then correlated to a reduction of wrinkle depth.

The only side effect that the manufacturer listed as a possibility is skin irritation, however there has not been enough tie for any long-term studies to have been performed, so its overall safety is still somewhat questionable.

Hyaluronic Acid: A glycosaminoglycan that is present in the eyes, neural tissue, and connective tissue. It is also found in the skin and is an important part of lubricating and cushioning our movements. Hyaluronic acid has shown that it is possibly effective in the treatment of:

  • Mouth sores
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Cataracts

Given that hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring chemical in the body, there are generally few side effects that are associated with its consumption. It is possible that users can experience an allergic reaction and irritation, though those cases are rare.

Vitamin C: A traditional skin care ingredient thanks to its key roll in collagen synthesis. Vitamin C is also necessary for proper immune functionality, mineral regulation, cellular health, and other key biological processes.

Most effective skin care blends will include vitamin C in some form due to its important roll in new skin generation and the fact that it is rarely detrimental to a user’s health. If it is taken in reasonable quantities there are no side effects in either the short- or long-term that are connected to vitamin C.

Revita Youth Cream Quality of Ingredients

It will be impossible for our team of reviewers to make an accurate assessment of the effectiveness of Revita Youth Cream until they release their ingredients list, however there is no sign that that is something that they are planning on doing.

It is unfortunate, but many skin care manufacturers use products in their proprietary blends that can have long-term negative effects on the skin or the body overall. Simple alcohols, parabins, paraffins, lye, and ammonia products are all too common in the skin care products of today, and unless you are seeing every ingredient that goes into that blend you have no guarantee that you are not using a chemical that can have damaging effects on your skin, or even lead to serious conditions like organ toxicity or cancer.

Of the ingredients that they have listed, vitamin C is the most effective by far, and our panel highly encourages the use of vitamin C products for skin health. Hyaluronic acid is also a respected ingredient; not quite as effective as vitamin C but still known to at least be safe for most users.

Much less is known about matrixyl synthe 6, and our reviewers are more cautious about endorsing its use. There is very little data about its safety, especially long term, and none of that data comes from a verified independent source.

The Price and Quality of Revita Youth Cream

Unlike most standard health and beauty products, Revita Youth Cream does not make itself available for sale on a per-unit basis. It cannot be found in stores and is not available from any third party retailers online. The only option for users is to sign up for their “free trial offer,” however looking over the terms and conditions of the offer show that it is never actually free.

The terms link, which is hidden on the bottom of one of their web pages and is not readily visible to site visitors that are not actually looking for it, tells readers that the free trial offer actually enrolls the customer in an automatic payment program. This program bills the users credit cards $97.92, often without any form of notification.

Many users were enrolled in the program for months before they realized it, only to find out that they have been charged hundreds of dollars for products that, according to the accounts of many former customers, often times don’t even get sent to them. There are fees that are charged if users try to get out of the agreement, there are fees charged if the free sample is not returned within 14 days, and there are restocking fees if the free sample is returned unopened.

Business of Revita Youth Cream

Revita Youth Cream is part of a network of skin care companies that share their business model and promotional materials. These companies, including L’Amour, Kiara Skin, and Skin Technologies, are all operated by the same parent companies, however they change names very frequently. Revita Youth Cream lists their parent company as Rejuvalife, and they list their contact info as:

Phone Number: (888) 898-4647

Address: PO Box 41542

St. Petersburg, FL 33710

Email: [email protected]

There are hundreds of formal complaints against Revita Youth Cream and their affiliated brands online. Many customers feel that they were taken advantage of by the free trial offer and are seeking refunds from the companies, however reviewing the complaints lodged with the Better Business Bureau shows that Revita Youth Cream has not addressed most of these complaints and that customers have a very hard time actually getting in touch with their representatives.

There are also complaints filed with the Federal Trade Commission and other watchdog organizations like Consumer Complaints Desk and Ripoff Report, and many customers have threatened to pursue more significant legal action. There is no evidence of any lawsuits or charges filed against Revita Youth Cream or their partners at this time.

Customer Opinions of Revita Youth Cream

Revita Youth Cream has many angry former customers that feel as though they were taken advantage of with deceptive business practices. Beyond the outcry about their marketing tactics, however, there was also a considerable amount of anger directed at them regarding their product. Those reviews were often similar to these:

“What did I just put on my face? This stuff is seriously gross – it congealed into a weird film that I couldn’t get off, and it made me break out like crazy.”

“After Revita dries it feels like you walked into the world’s biggest spider web, and it left my face looking even older.

“Bad reaction! When I put Revita on it started burning and I couldn’t get it off – I was left with chemical burns all around my eyes and mouth.”

There were accounts of a wide variety of bad reactions to Revita Youth Cream, including frequent accounts of a burning sensation, acne breakouts, and redness and irritation. There were also many reports about the texture of the cream after it dries, which many customers found to be particularly unpleasant.

Conclusion – Does Revita Youth Cream Work?

Our team of health and beauty researchers takes seriously our job of finding reputable companies that make effective products that can help consumers improve the health and appearance of their skin. We do not recommend products that we are worried might have unhealthy side effects, that do not improve the core health of the user, and that are manufactured by companies that do not respect or care for their clientele.

Because of this, we cannot recommend that our readers try Revita Youth Cream. They refuse to disclose the ingredients of their product, their business uses deceptive and unfair marketing practices, and the reports from customers claim that it is not only ineffective but also potentially damaging to the skin. Our team further cautions all potential customers to closely read the terms of any agreement that claims to be a free offer, as there are quite a few other companies that use this strategy as well.

Our team recommends that individuals looking for consistent and trustworthy skin care products try Kremotex. It has shown to be effective for a wide variety of skin types and needs thanks to its core-health approach to skin wellness.

Apple stem cells, shea butter, and other key vitamins and nutrients work together to stimulate collagen production and cellular hydration. It is safe and allergen free for the vast majority of users.

Ordered a trial size for $5. Was sent a full 30 day supply bottle. After 14 days was charged $90 for the full bottle I received. Trial size advertisement was very deceiving and purposely misleading.

Linda H says:

Buyer BEWARE. I signed up for a free sample paying postage only. Now credit card charges for over $175.00 for the free sample!! Company will not refund money and will not take back the unopened product. Very deceptive marketing and I am very unhappy with this company.

Navi S says:

BUYERS BEWARE:
I ordered a trial size for $5. I was out of town for a few months. My card is charged for $550 for the FREE SAMPLE and the TWO MONTHS. Revita Youth will not refund money and will not take back their product. DECEITFUL.

C. S. Gabbard says:

I ordered the trial size and paid shipping only. I’ve been traveling for several months, and have just noticed monthly charges of almost $200 per month for the last 4 months (totaling almost $800) for products I did not order. Their customer service is very suspicious, giving me a false refund authorization number for the last shipment before cancellation. Their customer service line was so bad, I could hear only random sounds, and I had to search to find a workable number. Extremely deceptive marketing, and misleading (at best) customer service as well. I’ve filed a dispute claim with VISA, and they’re following up with the company. If there’s a class action suit against them, I’d be glad to sign on.

Mim says:

This was a total rip off. They made a lot of money from me by tricking me.

Susan says:

I threatened to press charges for theft on Revita, and they finally refunded me,

Deb Klinger says:

My husband thought he was doing me a favor and ordered a free trial of the Revita face cream and Revita restore eye serum with having to pay shipping only. We received our credit card statement today and was charged $91.95 for EACH item. I will be calling my credit card company in the morning to dispute the charges. We are seniors and live on a fixed income and did not expect this charge and would like to also be included in a suit if one is filed.
