What is it?

Le Jeune Cream is a cream designed to fight the visible signs of aging and prevent future damage to skin.  Formulated with cutting-edge anti-aging peptides and protective antioxidants, this product claims it can provide immediate results while continuously treating the underlying causes of premature aging.

Le Jeune Cream promises a boost in collagen production and hydration on a cellular level to rejuvenate and firm dull and sagging skin.  It is said to be made with all-natural ingredients and ideal for all skin types.

Le Jeune Cream Ingredients and Side Effects

Ingredients in Le Jeune Cream include:

Argireline Matrixyl 3000 Neodermyl
Shea Butter Vitamins C and E Unisooth EG-28

Argireline: Also known as Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, this peptide compound is used in anti-aging products to reduce the facial contractions that lead to fine lines and wrinkles.  Some studies have suggested that over time, it can break down the muscle tissue that naturally firms the skin, causing skin to sag.

Matrixyl 3000: An anti-aging peptide compound consisting of Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 and Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, this regenerative blend of fatty acids and amino acids can reduce inflammation, boost growth of connective tissues, and promote collagen production.

Neodermyl: This patented blend of water and Glycerin can diffuse naturally into skin, boosting collagen and elastin production at the cellular level.

Shea Butter: A moisturizer extracted from the nut of the shea tree, this triglyceride resembles the chemistry and structure of skin’s natural lipids, helping shore up the natural protective barrier of the skin.  It also helps promote healing and soothing.

Vitamins C and E: Also known as Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin C is an antioxidant that aids in neutralization of free radicals and helps protect against oxidative stress.  It can also enhance the performance of other beneficial ingredients.

Tocopheryl Acetate is a highly potent form of Vitamin E that helps protect against free radicals.  It also helps replenish skin lipids, resulting in improved firmness.

Unisooth EG-28: A patented blend of water-soluble active substances including Propyl Gallate, Gallyl Glucoside and Epigallocatechin Gallatyl Glucoside. It can soothe the skin, and can especially help in reducing irritation and dark circles under the eyes.

Propyl Gallate has natural antioxidant benefits, but it is also a preservative and considered to be a moderately hazardous ingredient due to possible developmental and reproductive toxicity and immunotoxicity.  It is also a potential allergen and irritant.

Benzyl Alcohol is another ingredient in the patented complex, and it is considered a moderate hazard for the same safety concerns and risks Propyl Gallate pose.

Le Jeune Cream Quality of Ingredients

Only the main active ingredients are listed on the website, which should be a concern to anyone interested in the quality of their skin care products and what nutrients they provide.

The formula contains some proven anti-aging peptides, powerful antioxidants and other beneficial vitamins, but without a full ingredient list, it is impossible for consumers to determine how it will work for their individual skin type, or if it will address their particular concerns.

The product also includes antioxidant-rich Vitamins C and E, and Shea Butter, a natural emollient and moisturizer containing essential fatty acids.  Those ingredients will help hydrate and protect against free radicals, but they alone cannot reverse the visible signs of aging.

One concern about the formula is that some ingredients may not perform as well as claimed. The initial benefits of Argireline, for example, may encourage users that it provides results, but some research suggests that it can start to destroy naturally firming muscle tissue over time, causing skin to lose its elasticity and sag.

There are also some questionable ingredients in some of the patented complexes sourced from chemical developers.  The ingredient, Unisooth EG-28, for example, contains Benzyl Alcohol which is known to irritate and dry skin.

There is also no science-backed evidence to prove their specific formulation does what it says it will.  Some ingredients may provide positive benefits for the skin, but there is no clinical proof suggesting the product works to fight the visible signs of aging.

Le Jeune Cream claims it is ideal for all skin types, but not all skin types react the same way to certain ingredients.  Before using this or any skin care product, one should always check with a specialist to discuss the possible risks.

The Price and Quality of Le Jeune Cream

Le Jeune Cream is quite expensive compared to similar anti-aging products on the market.  A 1-ounce jar costs $89.69 plus $3.95 shipping, though it is not available to purchase outright.

Customers are required to sign up for a free trial to purchase the product and a credit card must be provided for the shipping charges.  Once the trial is over after a period of 14 days, the full product cost will be charged to the credit card on file.

Pay special attention to the small print to avoid unwanted charges, as you are automatically enrolled into their replenishment service until it is canceled.  They will not stop charging monthly until you contact them to cancel.

Many have complained about the difficulty of returning the products and obtaining refunds.  Some customers have reportedly tried contacting customer service only to have them call or email back days after the trial period ended, and thereby rejecting their returns and refunds.

Taking the unjustifiably high price, lack of a full ingredient list, and the risks of doing business with this company into account, it does not seem like customers are getting full value.

Business of Le Jeune Cream

The business of Le Jeune Cream is Premium Beauty Products, headquartered in Los Angeles.  Their contact info is:

Phone: (888) 604-9168

Address: Premium Beauty Products

120 East 8th Street, Suite 904

Los Angeles, CA 90014

Email: [email protected]

Apart from the above, no information about the manufacturer is provided on any of the product pages used to sell the product.  It should also be noted that links for the trial redirect to entirely different brands, suggesting that many anti-aging creams are the same or similar products marketed by the same parent company.

There are a lot of complaints against the Le Jeune Cream product itself.  Many complaints point to tricky marketing tactics, false claims, and unauthorized charges, but most customers say the product simply does not work.

The website touts clinically proven ingredients and results, but there are no clinical trials to back its many claims.  There is only a partial ingredient list available, and there are very few details provided about its proprietary technology.

There are also no customer testimonials, and the product page utilizes the same template used by dozens of other unknown anti-aging brands making the same claims.

The poorly-designed product pages making unsubstantiated claims using the worst grammar imaginable are not at all encouraging to consumers.  Nothing about the Le Jeune product or manufacturing company seems credible.

Customer Opinions of Le Jeune Cream

All skin care products affect everybody’s skin differently, so until you try it for yourself, you won’t know how it works for you.  Fortunately, there are some online reviews of Le Jeune Cream available, allowing consumers to make informed decisions.

Reviews are generally negative for the cream.  Many complaints are about the marketing tactics and poor customer service, but the following opinions are only about the performance of the cream itself:

“It goes on very gloopy and feels tacky once it absorbs.  It seems to moisturize well, but there doesn’t appear to be anything special about it.”

“I’m not normally acne prone, but this cream made me break out like crazy.  It’s so thick, it must be mostly petroleum”

“I put on a very thin layer but it still felt like my skin couldn’t breathe.”

The effectiveness of any skin care product depends on individual skin type, allergies, proper application, and many other contributing factors. Please be aware of this when researching skin care products based on customer reviews and opinions.

Conclusion – Does Le Jeune Cream Work?

Le Jeune Cream claims it is one of the most advanced anti-aging products on the market, and with daily use it can help users reclaim the look of youth.  The formula purportedly contains only cutting-edge ingredients of the highest quality.

Customers are forced to take the company at their word, however, because there is no full ingredient list or detailed explanation about how their specific formula can help users slow the visual process of aging.  Unless the developers of Le Jeune Cream come with more information about their product as well as their company, our review experts cannot recommend this cream.

Our expert reviewers have analyzed and compared many anti-aging products and found Kremotex to be the best overall.

Its fast-acting ingredients boost collagen production, and essential vitamins and antioxidants promote cell regeneration, reversing the effects of aging and skin damage. Remarkable before and after transformation photos along with glowing testimonials show why Kremotex was voted the best anti-wrinkle cream of 2024.

THIS IS A SCAM… DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

ENELSA LOPEZ says:

Yes I agree ……BIG SCAM they want your personal information including credit card

Karen says:

Got mine today. Don’t think it’s supposed to burn when you put it on your skin…

M. Saccomanno, M.D. says:

Not surprising as it contains alcohol and propyl gallate, both of which can be toxic with repeated exposure.

deborah barth says:

I too ordered this product believing I could try it and then agree to order it at full price when I felt I was happy with the product. They proceeded to bill me $89.03, full price for the product and when I called I got a woman who argued with me and when I asked to cancel she kept offering me it at a discount. I started at 30% and went up to 60% while I was telling her I wanted to cancel over and over again. Their advertising was false and very misleading. They should be stopped. And with me giving my email address do not start sending me unwanted advertisements. Thanks for the info below as I think I will look into complaining to the FTC and anyone else who can help with these matters.

Barbara J Sauber says:

I see charges on my credit card for this item. I had ordered once and had called to cancel, yet, I received another item (I think) as a box came in and I will not open the item. I sent back unopened. The box was crushed in shipping.

I have called my credit card company and refuse to pay for the items. Please cancel any and all orders. I do not wish to receive shipments from your company.

Doris says:

Scam – once they have your c-card for the shipping on the “free sample” they will keepsending every 30 days, automatically charging close to $100 per shipment, even after notified to cancel. Finally got my credit company to block future charges and work with me to get refund. Rude CSR, finally agreed to a full refund, which I’m still waiting for. Do not get suckered in.

Pam R says:

Before you order the “free samples” be aware if you don’t contact them within 14 days you will be charged the full price which is over $80 each for the face cream and the eye serum. 14 days is not enough time to know if it’s working. I do have to say when I called the woman gave me a credit of $100 because when I ordered it didn’t say anywhere that the full charge would be applied after the trial period.

lisa d Rivera says:

Do not purchase!! Scam and creates a huge head ache. I wish I would have done better research before.

Savitri Naranjit says:

I want a refund. You took 89.00 out of my checking account after I called to say I don’t want the product delivered to me. That was last Sunday on Monday you debited my checking account. I called and left a message to say I don’t want the product which was July 8, 2018. On the May 9th you deducted 89.00 and some change.. Now your customer service agent Dave said he can’t find my account. I’m giving you 24 hours. If you don’t call me back, I’m going to contact my bank and they will file a claim and or I will take you to court.

william says:

This company is terrible to deal with. They did the same thing to my wife. She called and cancelled twice and they continued to send it and charge her for it. I had to call and threaten reporting them to the state attorney general and better business bureau before they officially cancelled it and sent the cancellation number. They only offered a portion of refund. Before they wouldn’t let you return it. If you are going to deal with this company be careful.

Jane Woyciechowski says:

I should have read this article first. My HUGE mistake. It is a fraud. I just found out that they charged me for the face cream and eye serum for a total of $177.90 and this right after I unknowingly got caught with trying the eye serum too. It was supposed to be free. It wasn’t. Now I have to file with the credit card people! And BTW, cream has done nothing for me. And the eye ‘serum’ is a joke.

BJ says:

This is a complete scam…..do not purchase.

Margie Saccomanno, M.D. says:

Greets all,
This is supposedly a ‘wonder cream’ developed by ‘Kate Middleton’ because she wanted to be able to share her beauty regimen with the masses, something everyone could afford? WHAT A JOKE! The little Duchess must be out of touch with reality, too much commoner blood running through her little head. What makes her think for a second that $89.99 for a tiny jar of this goop is something everyone can afford? Guess she’s forgotten pretty fast what it’s like to be a commoner. Also, what is this about Pippa Middleton thinking this cream is so wonderful and making her look 10 years younger? She’s not much more than a kid! How much younger does she want to look, grade school? Maybe the advert I was looking at was just pretty simple minded but the whole thing was just stupid and very hard to believe so I did a little research of my own and from reading what I read here I agree with the writers of this article 100% that your best bet is ‘Kremotex’. It’s all natural and I was very impressed with the results.
When I read the ingredients in this cream the first thing I saw was everything in it is EXTREMELY INEXPENSIVE when it comes to what they could have used. Why would a Duchess need to make her own product to fleece people to make money? If the Queen really were angry with her for wanting to push her line of anti-aging products she is right to do so because this is nothing but a total scam. The only sites I’ve read which sing it’s praises and have 100+ 5-star reviews are sites which belong to the manufacturer or the Dr. Oz show (an equally large scam).
Don’t waste your money on this garbage. As a physician what I see here which would be helpful in keeping skin hydrated and healthy are Shea Butter, vitamins C & E along with Glycerine.
Finally, this product also contains Propyl Gallate & alcohol both of which can accumulate & result in toxicity in multiple organ systems other than your skin. Alcohol is also a drying agent which may have very noticeable positive results at first, however, over time will cause increased wrinkling & sagging of the skin.
The photo’s I saw on one particular site have clearly been photoshopped. Look at the eyes of each of the so-called ‘success’ stories & you will see the position of the eyes is IDENTICAL in the before & after photo’s, proof the same photo was used & doctored into before & after photos. It is so obvious even I could see it & once you know what to look for in such photo’s it becomes a case of ROTFLMAO to think anyone would possibly believe them.
Be Well,
Margie

Michelle A Boyd says:

CANCEL ALL ORDERS

Rosalie Crfump says:

This company is a scam. You get the two items by paying the shipping. Then if you don’t call and cancel before the 14 days they send you a new 30 day supply, charging your credit card $89 dollars and something. I called before the 14 days were up and they told me in order to cancel I had to send the two containers I got for paying the shipping back or I would have to pay $19 dollars something.
There was no mention of sending the two containers I just paid the shipping on back or I would be charged the almost $20.00.
Besides the cream burns when applied. Not a bit of any improvement. Looks terrible under makeup. I am throwing mine in the trash and not paying another cent.
You do as you like. This company should be fined and totally stopped from cheating the public by selling a no good product.
I doubt that my comment will remain on here very long as the company will not like my negative report. I am very unhappy with them and will not give anyone good feedback about them.

ANNIE says:

Never give your credit card to anyone that offers FREE samples. Free means FREE.

Alice Frickel says:

I was unable to send an email to the supplied address to refuse any product being sent to me and have notified my bank to cancel any further product.

CALIXTO says:

THIS IS A SCAM

Anonymous says:

Just got my high serum in the mail supposed to be just shipping and handling instead I was out of town I came home after 14 days of being gone so obviously I didn’t cancel it or whatever the fine print said and $90 was just hooking off my card I called CSR and they were very rude to me and said they cannot put the $90 back on my card I said I would never pay $90 for a little jar of ice around man I only paid shipping and handling to get the item and see if it worth it for $15 I would never pay $90 and she said there’s nothing they can do and hung up I don’t even know if this stuff works or what it even is so that’s my review

C Durdin says:

I TOTALLY AGREE THAT THIS IS A SCAM! MY BANK HAS CANCELLED MY DEIT CARD AND HAS ISSUED ANOTHER SO THAT THIS COMPANY (????????????? CAN NO LONGER CHARGE ME FOR ITEMS I DID NOT ORDER OR ASK FOR! DISPUTING THE LATEST CHARGE AND HAVE GOTTEN A 75% REFUND FOR PREVIOUS CHARGES. THANKFULLY, THE “CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE” WAS NOT AS RUDE AS SOME I HAVE READ ABOUT HERE! HOW DO THEY KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS? WHY DOESN’T SOME ENTITY SHUT THEM DOWN?

Linda says:

Well like most of you I purchased the product not satisfied. Than a purchase hit my credit card for $89.03 after going rounds with Customer service they want to give me a 30% return I said No then a 50% return I said NO, than he tried to convince me that with the restocking and UPS charges I will have to come up with 50% would be the best route to go. Yeah I told him give me my RMA don’t worry about me. I want my money back and I will be calling my bank. Than he gave me a different mailing address so I emailed them that the address was changed by Customer care (Mike) finally he gave me the RMA. What kind of company wheels and deals a product one that is not on the up & up. Never again will I do something like this again. Boo! I’ll be looking into this with the FTC!

Julia Donald says:

SCAM!!!! I got offered a free sample on vista print and the free sample has cost me right st $500. This product is awful and expensive. I’m working on getting a reimbursement. The lady I talked to could not have been rider. Highway robbery. Don’t fall for it!

Jeannie Lins says:

This company should be shut down period. Classic bait and switch. Free sample turns into charges they refuse to drop. Had to cancel out my card to protect myself. The product itself is useless.

Dana says:

I’m 70 years old and I love this creme but can’t find it
