What is it?

Estropause is a menopause support supplement created to help women go through this transitional period as smoothly as possible. Estropause is formulated specifically for aging women and has included vitamins and minerals that support bones, nerves and muscles.

Estropause relies primarily on botanicals like black cohosh and red clover for their estrogenic effects. Additionally, ingredients like ginseng and chasteberry offer additional support throughout all stages of menopause.

After considerable research into the crowded menopause supplement space, our experts have discovered that Femmetrinol is the best option for helping users ease the long list symptoms associated with menopause, through the use of a side effect-free herbal blend. Click here to take a closer look at the ingredients used to make Femmetrinol and what they can do for you.

Estropause Ingredients and Side Effects

Estropause is made from a blend of herbal ingredients known for their effects on the body’s hormone production, as well as vitamins and minerals that provide critical nutrition for women as they age. Here’s a closer look at the active ingredients used to make Estropause:

Red Clover Extract Chasteberry Fish Oil Soy Isoflavones
St. John’s Wort Black Cohosh Ginseng

Soy Isoflavones: Soy beans contain a substance known as isoflavones, which are thought to have an effect on the estrogen levels in the body. This ingredient is used to reduce the severity of menopause symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats, as well as other hormone-triggered symptoms like PMS, breast pain, moodiness and painful menstruation.

  • Side effects may include gas, constipation and bloating. In some cases, users may experience an allergic reaction.

St. John’s Wort: An herb often used for its ability to reduce stress and improve mood, St. John’s Wort is thought to have a positive effect on people with depression and anxiety.

Chasteberry: Chasteberry is thought to ease the symptoms of menopause, PMS or painful menstrual periods, as well as hormonal acne. It works by activating the pituitary gland, which stimulates the production of progesterone, evening out the progesterone to estrogen ratio in the body.

Red Clover Extract: Red clover also contains isoflavones and is often used as a natural way to regulate hormone levels in the body, due to its estrogenic effects. Many women use red clover extract to relieve breast pain, PMS and skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

Ginseng: An herb used for several medicinal applications, ginseng is thought to help reduce stress and anxiety, improve mental performance and boost the immune system.

Fish Oil: Fish oil has a number of benefits, most notably its effects on the brain and its potential to lower triglyceride levels and blood pressure. Fish oil is also thought to help soothe painful periods, breast pain and tenderness.

  • Side effects may include loose stool, belching, upset stomach or heart burn.

Black Cohosh: Black cohosh contains phytoestrogens, which perform much like the estrogens produced naturally inside the body.

Black cohosh is a root used medicinally by Native Americans for centuries. It has been shown to help users treat a variety of hormone issues from endometriosis and painful menstrual periods to PMS and fertility, as well as hot flashes, night sweats and mood swings.

Estropause Quality of Ingredients

Estropause contains quite a spread of nutrients known for their support for menopausal women. Soy isoflavones, red clover, black cohosh — these are all well-known to help users deal with menopause — particularly with hot flashes and night sweats.

Plus, users get the added benefit of fish oil, St. John’s Wort and ginseng, which are known for their benefits to both the brain and the immune system — potentially helping with thinking and clarity, as well as anxiety and depression that emerges during menopause.

Our problem with this blend of ingredients isn’t the actual herbs and supplements used in to make this product, it’s the fact that we don’t think that there are enough of said ingredients to give users the dramatic wave of relief they are searching for when they buy this type of supplement.

The makers of this product have been relatively transparent with the amounts of each item included in the Estropause blend. Unfortunately, here are only 80 mg of black cohosh in each dose, and typically, people using this product for menopause symptoms take about ~1000 mg.

We don’t know for sure if this formula is effective, but we like that this company has opted to be open about the contents of the supplement. We also appreciate that this supplement seems relatively safe.

The Price and Quality of Estropause

Estropause is available through several different channels, from Amazon to smaller supplement sellers on the web. The manufacturer sells this product on the official website at $23.99 for a bottle containing 80 soft gels — which amounts to only a 20-day supply, as the suggested dose is 4 capsules per day.

Amazon offers this product at a much lower price, selling the same quantity for $12.74 per bottle, with further discounts should you decide to subscribe and save.

Business of Estropause

Estropause is made by a company named Irwin Naturals. Here is the contact information they’ve listed on their official website:

Phone: 800-297-3273

Address: 5310 Beethoven Street
Los Angeles, CA 90066

The Irwin Naturals website looks relatively nice and offers a pretty clear and concise description for what exactly Estropause sets out to accomplish. Unfortunately, they don’t make any mentions of studies conducted on this formula or any of the ingredients included in the blend.

Sure, many of the components of this formula are well-researched herbs like black cohosh and soy isoflavones, as well as ginseng and fish oil, but they’ve neglected to cite anything that may help put consumers at ease before giving this product a try.

Other than the lack of clinical information, there aren’t any immediate red flags about Irwin Naturals. They distribute to several retailers and have fairly positive reviews on Amazon. Our only concern, is, some of the herbal solutions presented online don’t always give customers the full scope of information needed, which may open up some safety risks for some users.

Customer Opinions of Estropause

Reviews for Estropause were mixed, though they leaned primarily toward the positive end of the spectrum. Here is a look at the range of opinions we were able to locate during our look into this product:

“I bought this with high expectations. I think I fell for the marketing campaign, but they just didn’t end up working for me. I’m not saying Estropause doesn’t work, it it just wasn’t for me.”

“I’m 33, so I’m probably a way off from menopause, but this has helped me revive my sex life and treat what I believe is some sort of hormonal imbalance. No more night sweats or hot flashes after just 10 days.”

“I honestly don’t know if this works. I bought several bottles on Amazon, and gave some to my friends. They asked for more, so maybe it’s working. I haven’t seen any changes myself and it’s been about a month.”

“The benefits this product advertises are much different than what this product actually does. I’m really disappointed in the lack of effectiveness here. Don’t believe everything you see in an ad.”

Estropause has pretty lukewarm reviews. Most of the positive ones just said something like, “great,” “the best on the market,” “loved it.” There wasn’t much there when it came to people that had a positive experience and thought to detail that experience for others’ benefits.

Most of the more descriptive accounts from past users mentioned that they were disappointed with a lack of results or that the advertisements were somewhat misleading.

Some people did say they felt that their hot flashes were less severe or that they were no longer experiencing night sweats. Our thought is, this product may just not be potent enough to deliver widespread benefits to users suffering from more severe cases of menopause symptoms.

Conclusion – Does Estropause Work?

After looking deeper at Estropause and the ingredients used to make this product, we believe that consumers can find something that yields better results.

Yes, this product contains a lot of great ingredients and users are likely to get some benefit from taking this product, but we’re not certain there is enough of each active herb present to yield the results consumers are hoping to get from this product.

The reviews revealed there were definitely some success stories among those who tried this product, but there were too many others who mentioned this wasn’t a particularly effective supplement.

Our experts have learned that Femmetrinol better addresses the symptoms associated with menopause than competing products on the market. This supplement uses black cohosh, chasteberry and wild yam to ease hot flashes and night sweats and combat irritability, anxiety and depression—all from taking a daily supplement.

Femmetrinol closely follows current GMP practices and regularly subjects the formula to quality testing procedures; making sure consumers are both safe and satisfied. Take a closer look at Femmetrinol. Click here for more info.
