Menosmart Plus is a menopause supplement that aims to treat women with nutrition as opposed to synthetic hormones. Menosmart Plus may be used to help improve sleep quality, reduce hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, mood swings and concentration and more.
Menosmart Plus is meant to be taken twice a day to support hormone levels in the body. Users may use this product while weaning themselves off traditional HRT treatment, though the official website recommends eating well and exercising during the transition.

Menosmart Plus Ingredients and Side Effects
Menosmart Plus relies exclusively on herbal ingredients for most of the advertised benefits, which includes the full scope of menopause symptoms. Here’s a look at the blend of plant-based ingredients used to make Menosmart Plus:
Black Cohosh |
Chasteberry |
Hesperidin |
Sage Leaf Extract |
Gamma Oryzanol |
Dong Quai |
Dong Quai: This ingredient is often used medicinally and may help treat symptoms associated with menopause, painful menstruation, infertility and more. It may also be useful in helping relieve joint pain and hypertension.
Chasteberry: Though it doesn’t have any estrogenic effects, chasteberry is thought to activate the pituitary gland, which through a series of actions, produces an increase in progesterone.
Gamma Oryzanol: Often used for high cholesterol and anti-aging, gamma-oryzanol is found in rice brain oil and may have an effect on menopausal women.
Hesperidin: Hesperidin is a bioflavinoid found in citrus fruits. It may be used to help improve the function of blood vessels, circulation, varicose veins and lymphedema.
Sage Leaf: Most commonly used to flavor a variety of foods, sage leaf also may be used to reduce hot flashes during menopause and ease pain during menstruation.
Black Cohosh: A plant whose root has been used medicinally for centuries, black cohosh is thought to help users ease symptoms of a range of hormonal conditions like PMS, endometriosis, breast pain and symptoms typically associated with menopause like night sweats, hot flashes and mood swings.
Black cohosh is thought to perform much like estrogen would naturally inside the body and is thought to potentially be a natural replacement for HRT treatment.

Menosmart Plus Quality of Ingredients
Menosmart Plus contains many useful and safe ingredients that may help women going through menopause find some relief with use.
While we feel that many users can benefit from black cohosh, as well as chasteberry, we’re not sure what the dosing on this product and have no idea if there are enough of the active ingredients included in the blend to ensure users get the potency they need to take on the full range of menopause symptoms.

The Price and Quality of Menosmart Plus
Menosmart Plus is not available for sale on the official product page, only through third-party retailers. A bottle containing 120 capsules sells for about $40 on Amazon, give or take a few dollars, as it’s available from multiple sellers.
As a point of reference, a 120-count bottle only lasts for 30 days if taken as directed—the directions for use mention users should take two pills twice a day.
The price point seems a little high for some consumers, especially for a product that has no documented studies on record—and is therefore unable to demonstrate its efficacy.

Business of Menosmart Plus
Menosmart Plus is made by a company named Healthy Immunity. Here is the contact information, as per the site:

Address: 106A 3430 Brighton Ave,

The official website, healthyimmunity.com is run by a woman named Lorna Vanderhaeghe, a health writer who has her own line of natural products that are marketed as alternatives to hormone replacement treatments, as well as a range of natural supplements used to boost the immune system.
The Menosmart Plus offers a short profile on each ingredient used to make this product, as well as some information as to how women can transition away from using synthetic hormones and use an herbal solution instead.
Ms. Vanderhaege is not a doctor and much of the website is dedicated to her various articles, books and video lectures. She does provide some information users may appreciate, however, she doesn’t link to a lot of credible sources, nor does she cite any clinical studies on the Menosmart Plus product page—well, other than an anecdote from one woman who used the product, which is presented as data.
Many of the articles make claims like antidepressants are linked to breast cancer or that calcium can increase the rate of heart attacks.
We’re not certain this website is the best resource for women looking for health information—whether that’s menopause-related, or in regards to other concerns. Menosmart Plus may be a good product, but users should talk to an actual doctor before giving this a try.
Customer Opinions of Menosmart Plus
Menosmart Plus was pretty widely reviewed, though based on what we’ve found, consumers have dealt with a wide range of experiences. Some people found this product was not helpful at all, while others were pleased with the outcome. Here are some of the accounts from previous customers:
“This product was not helpful at all in treating my hot flashes. I’ve tried just about every health food supplement designed to treat menopause to no avail. Might have to go back on HRT, as nothing else helps.”
“Patience is key here. I’ve waited almost two months for any major changes. Even now, my hot flashes aren’t totally gone, but they are less intense and less frequent. I guess it’s better than HRT.”
“I have debilitating night sweats and have been dealing with this problem for several years. After trying Menosmart, I’m finding I can sleep more easily through the night. Though I’m still stressed.”
“This product has a horrible taste and smell, I even emailed the seller about this. They seem to help with hot flashes to some extent, but I’m finding it hard to choke these pills down.”
Menosmart Plus is all over the place in terms of the kind of feedback consumers left after using this product. There was plenty of evience that it may be useful in redcuing the severity of hot flashes and night sweats, but we saw little mention of any of the sexual benefits advertised, nor of the emotional effects—good or bad that came along with daily use.
Our initial impression is, that this product may be effective in helping users reduce the frequency and severity of hot flashes or night sweats, but for those suffering from the other symptoms of menopause, a more potent solution may be the best way forward.

Conclusion – Does Menosmart Plus Work?
After we reviewing the above information, we believe that Menosmart Plus could be a viable option for some women, perhaps those primarily concerned with hot flashes and night sweats, but who may not be having too many issues with the emotional effects brought on by menopause.
This product did get a number of good reviews, to be sure, but our impression from the majority of users, was that this product provided some mild relief, but failed to address all symptoms—there were almost zero mentions of the sexual health benefits advertised, nor many that found they evened out on an emotional level. Some users even mentioned that while they felt some physical relief, they were still anxious or stressed after using this for a significant period.
Black cohosh and chasteberry are widely used in helping women achieve hormonal balance without the use of HRT. But, we don’t have a good sense of how much of each of those ingredients are used to make this product.
Additionally, we found the website to be lacking. Lorna Vanderhaege may well be quite knowledgeable on the subject of hormone supplements, but she isn’t a doctor and she doesn’t cite any legitimate studies on the Menosmart Plus product page.
In looking over the countless menopause options, our experts have found that Femmetrinol works best to deal with hot flashes, night sweats and more, with a side-effect free daily supplement made from ingredients like wild yam, black cohosh, chasteberry and more.
Femmetrinol is regularly tested for safety and efficacy through third-party inspections, giving consumers peace of mind knowing they’ll get the product that was advertised. Learn more about the herbal formula behind Femmetrinol – click here for an inside look.

Menosmart Plus is simply an amazing product. I used it years ago and it was the only thing that worked. Trust me, I looked around and did my shopping. I even tried to buy a whole bunch of herbs individually to make my own concoction. Before trying Menosmart my hot flashes were extreme and then then were gone. I trust Lorna Vanderhaege. I stopped having hot flashes altogether so I stopped using the product but now they are back again with a vengeance. These pills also help with extreme mood issues. I just went out and bought a few more bottles. I know this product works so I’m sticking with it and hot flashes and mood extremes begone. Yes the price is high, but you get what you pay for and I imagine the price should be high considering all the work that it takes to make these pills.
Menosmart worked for me and I am amazed! It saved my life. I had to wait 2 weeks to take effect but the change was huge. After not being able to sleep more than max 2 hrs a night due to hot flashes, I have zero hot flashes now. Sleeping all night!!
