Prostate Miracle is a daily dietary supplement that is designed to help men improve their prostate and urinary functions. Their advertising says that it can help to reduce how frequent and how urgent the need to urinate is, as well as improving bladder emptying, and the strength of users’ urine streams.

They use a blend of all natural vitamins, minerals, and plant-based compounds to help men restore previous levels of urinary performance. Their promotional materials also claim that it can have applications for long-term prostate health, even possibly helping men reduce the chances that they will contract prostate cancer later on in life.

The top prostate health supplement that is available without a doctor’s consultation is called Prostatrinex. It is the single best product that our experts have analyzed for men’s prostate and bladder functionality, due in large part to its extensive and diverse ingredients blend. Click here to learn more about what goes in to Prostatrinex’s proprietary blend to see if it is appropriate for your specific needs.

How Does Prostate Miracle Work?

Prostate Miracle has one of the most minimal proprietary formulas of any product that our review team has analyzed. They use a very large dose of a phytosterol complex, and some basic core vitamins. This is far fewer ingredients than the vast majority of prostate health products on the market today.

Their phytosterol complex is composed of plant sterols derived from pine trees and contains up to 70% beta-sitosterols, one of the most potent forms of phytosterols. Phytosterols are chemical compounds that are found in the membranes of plant cellular matter, and they are thought to potentially help reduce the severity of the symptoms of BPH (benign prostate hyperplasia) and CP (chronic prostatitis).

Most notably, beta-sitosterol and other phytosterols have been shown to help improve men’s urinary flow, allowing for greater ease of starting, stopping, and maintaining a healthy stream. Other studies have focused on its ability to help reduce the amount of urine that gets trapped in the urethra after urination.

While this may seem like a small issue, residual urine can have a number of more serious consequences to the users’ health and can cause social embarrassment as well. That small amount of urine can cause a burning, itching, or painful sensation inside of the urethra, and if left uncleaned it can potentially lead to infections in the bladder or urethra.

It also has the potential to cause men to have to return to the bathroom directly after leaving it or risk leakage-related problems like spotting or unpleasant personal odor. Improved muscle and nerve function can help men end their urine streams more effectively and reduce the occurrences of residual urine.

Prostate Miracle also uses a small amount of zinc in their blend, which is one of the most important minerals for prostate health. Zinc is found in its highest concentrations in the prostate, and it is thought to be helpful for preventing the malignant transformation of cells, which may have applications for preventing the development of prostate cancer.

Zinc is so helpful, in fact, that our experts generally prefer it in much larger quantities than the 15mg that are found in Prostate Miracle. They also use less selenium in their blend than our experts would prefer, given that it is also one of the core nutrients that the prostate uses for basic functionality.

Prostate Miracle advertises the fact that they do not use saw palmetto in their blend, however they never explain why they view this as a positive. Our panel of health and wellness experts very strongly recommend saw palmetto as an ingredient in prostate health formulas.

It has a proven history of helping to resolve or reduce the symptoms of BPH and CP, and may even help to slow or stop the growth of the prostate. The only people that we recommend avoid saw palmetto products in their prostate health supplement are those that have allergies or other specific sensitivities that prevent them from taking it.

Potential Benefits of Prostate Miracle

The ingredients that Prostate Miracle uses are all considered effective for prostate health, however only the phytosterols and the vitamin D in their blend are used in a significant enough quantity so as to be effective. Both their zinc and their selenium quantities are about half of what our team would recommend in order for them to have maximum impact.

This severely limits the potential effectiveness of Prostate Miracle. It will have no impact on the actual size of the prostate itself, and will only impact the symptoms of prostate swelling. This is an ineffective long term strategy, and it will make Prostate Miracle generally more effective initially than it will over a prolonged period of time.

That said, beta-sitosterol is considered a potent ingredient on its own and it may be able to help men improve the frequency of their trips to the bathroom as well as the strength of their stream and how completely they are able to void their bladders. These changes may not be very dramatic for most users, however they should be somewhat consistent for men with BPH or CP.

Prostate Miracle advertises their ability to help men reduce the chances of contracting prostate cancer later in life, however our team did not think this was particularly likely. The amount of zinc in their blend is not significant enough to have a particularly potent effect on the prostate gland.

Are There Side Effects of Prostate Miracle?

It is not likely that users will have a negative reaction to Prostate Miracle. Their ingredients blend is so basic that unless you have a specific allergy to pine or other forms of plant sterols then there is very little chance that it can cause side effects in either the short or the long term. If users do react negatively, the chances are that it will be digestive in nature and probably fairly mild.

How to Buy Prostate Miracle

Prostate Miracle is sold both through their own website and through a number of different third-party retailers, though users should note that several of the more well-known dealers have stopped carrying Prostate Miracle recently. The price can vary somewhat from retailer to retailer, but these are the prices that were quoted on their website as of the date of this article’s publication:

  • 1, 60-count bottle (30-day supply) of Prostate Miracle advanced formula caplets: $29.95
  • 2, 60-count bottles (60-day supply) of Prostate Miracle advanced formula caplets: $51.90
  • 3, 60-count bottles (90-day supply) of Prostate Miracle advanced formula caplets: $68.85
  • 6, 60-count bottles (180-day supply) of Prostate Miracle advanced formula caplets: $119.70

These prices are about average for most supplements of this nature. Users should be aware, however, that the ratings for Prostate Miracle are not particularly good.

Before it was discontinued on, Prostate Miracle had more one-star reviews than any other rating, the lowest possible score on the site. They also were cited by the Food and Drug administration for making unverifiable claims about their product, as well as violating several other manufacturing and marketing laws.

Our Recommendation

Prostate Miracle is not considered an effective prostate health supplement for many reasons. While it does have several ingredients that lead our team to think that it could potentially benefit some men’s symptoms, there is very little chance that it will provide the level of support that most men are looking for from a prostate health supplement.

Beta-sitosterol and other plant sterols are considered effective for helping men control some of the symptoms of BPF and CP, however it tends to be more effective when paired with other ingredients that can complement its effects. It does not have any direct impact on prostate size, and in general benefits from being used in blends with ingredients like saw palmetto and lycopene that might be more helpful for those purposes.

There are plenty of other prostate supplements on the market that have both a more effective ingredients profile and a better track record with their customers than Prostate Miracle. It is also not particularly inexpensive, leaving very few reasons that our team could recommend Prostate Miracle to our readers.

Our panel of experts believe that the most effective non-prescription prostate health supplement for the majority of men is going to be Prostatrinex. It has been shown to both affect the symptoms of BPH and CP as well as providing support that actually helps with the causes of inflammation and prostate growth.

They use saw palmetto as their lead ingredient, and they support it with beta-sitosterols, pygeum, quercetin, and a diverse selection of other highly effective ingredients. Click here to see more data about the different ways that Prostatrinex can affect the prostate.
